HA! But no, as hilarious as that would be. As a (not even) useful hint, despite what people think (and boy, are they negative, not as negative as the reboot, though...), this movie was okay for what it was.

This is word from a man on the inside, people! Looking at your previous history with Exo-Force, Ninjago, and the Exo-Suit, I'm assuming that mech set with the king in it is your handywork? It's a beautiful set. Probably my favorite of the entire wave!

Since they haven't been posted here: That's a new Lloyd, a new Venomari, and Lasha has a Dark red arm now. These sets look fantastic for being Juniors sets! EDIT: Credit goes to Whung over in the Juniors 2016 thread. EDIT 2: Looking at the pirate, I notice that his colors seem to correspond really well with Ronin's.

And then watch the Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan. It's a spin-off, but it's adorable, and totally worth it! Anyway, guess this movie!

Sci, do you have (or know where to find) bigger images? I really wanna delve into the details on these guys but the pictures are so small! I love them all!!

It's the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. I. Love. That. MOVIE!! Any of you interested in it, watch the anime series first.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
PenPlays replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I'm not for retconning Jay's family, as Ed and Edna are always a joy when they show up. It's kinda odd too, as not only does it list Ed and Edna as having the last name "Walker," but Lego actually named one of Jay's vehicles after his full name as well! You can't really retcon it at the point that happens.- 4,591 replies

Wow these sets look fantastic! Anyone notice that the Nexo Knights use the classic (90's) TRNO, and the bag guys use the newer colored (2000's) TRNO? Gonna post some thoughts on "Jestro's Evil Mobile" (yes, that's it's name) and "Fortrex" sometime later today.

It's actually a penny more than buying the two of them separately. It does come with a free poster though.

Lego Nexo Knights TV Series Discussion
PenPlays replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
OOOH. I hadn't seen that second trailer! Just looking at Jestro's transformation shows how willing LEGO is to go dark on the tone this time around. The characters look well thought out, and with the lack of 12+ other characters they'd like to focus on (Chima...) this looks like we might get some good genuine plot. I just hope that with 20 episodes, we don't have the filler issue that Chima had (we had like, what, 7 episodes devoted to generic Speedorz racing). It also sounds like you'll be able to download shield powers from the show into the Merlok 2.0 App, or that's what I think the press release made it sound like. To cut to the chase, I'm optimistic at where this is heading, more so than I was with Chima, that's for sure. -
First of all, Danny Phantom is Nickelodeon owned. Second, if you'll notice, most of the IPs in Dimensions are still relevant to some kids these days (Typically because of their parents influence). Danny Phantom is even more irrelevant today as it hasn't aired for years. Not to mention the fact that it isn't a show that parents will be showing their kids in the future (simply because it isn't quite a critical masterpiece, a la Scooby Doo). Now, if the show had critical acclaim, then maybe, but again relevance to children is an issue. So. No.

Yay! Unsure if Lucario is free from exclusivity. All but the last three Amiibo are now available at most Toys R Us locations. Best Buy will be getting them soon along with Dark Pit. Villagers have yet to show up in store distribution centers, but he's coming (probably waiting for Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival). King Dedede, Meta Knight, Ike, Lucina and Robin are now the only Amiibo who have yet to be restocked. Wave 5b is seeing an impressive show of stock. Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, Dr. Mario, Classic 8-Bit Mario, Dr. Mario, and the Retro 3-Pack (Duck Hunt, Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B.) have all been consistently showing up in stores this past month. Release dates (for US): EDIT: The Mii Fighter Amiibo 3-Pack is Exclusive to Toys R Us.

If you are willing to pay $30 for a minifig, then sure. The instructions for the models are online at Lego.com as well. Just keep in mind that the Dr. Who set isn't out yet (November).

Perhaps his torso is a single mold? The torso/upper armor is one piece? Add small ball joints to mainly Technic arms and boom! Also didn't Sci (or someone with the info) say something about the Ultimate Sets being Axel's armor styled for the rest of the Nexo Knights?
-
This decision bothers me more than it should. Especially since this will lead those who haven't watched the show, but considered it, to be drawn away by such a horrible showcase. What's worse is that these VO's have been around as the Ninja as far back as Ninjago: Nindroids.
-
I think that it will be similar to this year's style. 2 seasons. 2 separate waves. Both with their own story. Just smaller waves so that Nexo Knights can afford their advertising push for being a new, media based "big-bang" theme.

Fake molds, first of all. Second, they most likely made this video based on the, possibly false/assumed, information that was reported here earlier in the thread.

Ninjago super battle arena
PenPlays replied to Staslegomaster's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would do the same if I hadn't disassembled them. -
Chalk me up as someone excited. I've been staying away as I don't want to rub my excitement and joy that there is a genuinely good looking, modern, and refreshing theme on the horizon to the purists. You can also chalk me up as some one who ADORED KKII. I seriously don't get the flak it gets. Great story. Great characters that looked unique (due to their vibrant colors). Heck even the set designs were unique. Chomping snakes. A transforming Castle. A set that was short lived that served as the first substantial battle pack that goes for exorbitant amounts of money on the internet. Buildable figures that used the LEGO System! It's genius!

Ninjago super battle arena
PenPlays replied to Staslegomaster's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Technically there is no "Super Arena" that can be made. Since the weapon racks in 2520 are attached by axles instead of pins, you can't put any of the sets you mentioned in the rack's place (modifying can be done, but you won't be able to play Spinjitzu with a 2504 or 2519 in your way. However, there is a hole for a pin to go behind the Tori Gate walls in 2520. Combining a variation of 2254 Mountain Shrine, 2504 Spinjitzu Dojo, 2519 Skeleton Bowling, 2520 Ninjago Battle Arena, as well as 2516 Ninja Training Outpost and 9558 Training Set together does work, however there is no way to combine them into a complete ring to make a "Super Arena." I was hoping for a similar result when I purchased these sets, much to my chagrin. -
And I'm still sitting here wondering what the heck is going on. A solid gold wizard? Seriously, why doesn't someone who saved it just plaster it up on reddit, or TTV. Something!
-
I've been gone for two hours, and I miss the excitement. If there is something that could be PM'd feel free to do so. So much talk about gold wizards, and King Mechs. It hurts being out of the loop!

I have reached the point of realization that the Lloyd love of 2012/13 has passed with the coming of a new generation of fans. I think LEGO's soft reboot was undoubtedly a success. Keeping everything relevant all the while explaining things as if that's how the series started out. Now if Nya could reach Lloyd level of fame, I'd be thrilled. It's clear that Lego is trying to focus on the other ninja aside from Kai and Lloyd (as evidenced by the Zane love starting in Rebooted). I'm excited to see where we'll be taken. I'm also curious how the movie will be handled, but that's for a different thread.

The source of said rumor... The people who want this to happen... The people who are supporting this...

Keep in mind that most online pre-orders won't ship until the day the game releases. It would then take at least another 3 days to get to your house, and that's if you got the spendy 2-day shipping (1 day of processing is excluded). This excludes Amazon Prime members only, and if you didn't get the 2-day shipping, it could be up to 5 days. So I was at Gamestop a couple of days ago, and they have a poster up of the packs that will be available, and it lists Laval. However, it says that he won't be at Gamestop until November, which means that most of these "exclusives" might end up only being at launch. (Laval is a Toys R Us exclusive according to Dimensions' Twitter). Now I wish I hadn't put all of that money in Amiibo as I certainly won't have money when Dimensions releases.
