  1. The King's Mech is a Walmart Exclusive Merlok's Library 2.0 is a Target Exclusive Infernox captures the Queen is a Toys R Us Exclusive Or at least they are in the US. Lego Stores will also carry all three as well.
  2. Lego would have to give us Junkbot (1&2), Beltz, Dreamz, World Builder (1&2), Train Game, MNOG, Backlot, and Crystalien Conflict first before that would happen. ... Hey, a guy can dream.
  3. That book is about as good as the Ninjago handbook that came out in 2011. I'll certainly consider this one.
  4. We aren't sure ourselves. It may have been a concept figure that they put on display, or it could have been a figure that they won't be introducing until Summer 2016. It's uncertain at this point.
  5. It's sad to say that I will always have jealousy towards those that actually own NRG Jay (damn you third party sellers and your insane prices!) But really now. Seeing all of the Ninja variants together in one spot is breathtaking in its own special way. Can't wait for the eventual inclusion of Nya.
  6. You mean to tell me that the slowly decreasing spots for Chima on the shelves as well as all of the heavy sales weren't signs enough. Not to mention that the TV show specifically said it was over.
  7. I always assumed that those were baton shaped grenades, as I never thought they looked like sword holders.
  8. HA!!! I too thought that I'm quite curious if the other Books have effects upon touch.
  9. Keep in mind that world building requires relevant timing and is naturally done as a show progresses. You didn't know that there were two halves to the Land of Ninjago, one light and one dark, after the pilot. Heck one would only be aware of Ignacia, the Monastery, the weapon locations, and the Underworld (80% of which have been nearly irrelevant since then). It's all that you needed, and there was no need to expand beyond that until the series began, where locations were reused, but were only expanded upon when necessary. All we need to know right now in Nexo Knights is that Knightonia is the castle/city. Knighton is the kingdom. That's it. We have that, and we don't need any more than that. Chima's issue is that it would introduce locations, but we'd get nothing about it. Information that it took to its grave, unfortunately.
  10. It comes from a fan-fic synopsis someone wrote as the "super form" for each of the Ninja in what would eventually become the Stone Army Season. So... One day, some Lego rip-off company sees some old gear that was cancelled in Lego Universe (because it died, may it RIP) and decided to make cheap, single minifig sets for each of the Ninja with these suits. Suddenly someone takes the fan-fic name "PWR Suit" (because that horrible fan-fic was like gospel to these kids) and pastes it on these things, although neither the armor nor name are even remotely related. TL;DR: PWR Suits technically don't even exist. The Ninjago fanbase added 2+1 together, and got 5 as a sum (for the lack of a better analogy). Quite excited to hear about the new potential deals for the game. I hope that some of the rumors from several pages back come to fruition.
  11. No technically... but that's stopped very few people. I watched it (legally), and I have to say that I'm very impressed with the subject matter already present in the show (death, darkness as a dooming force). The voice acting is fantastic for just being the first couple episodes. I didn't like how the book of monsters simply can't use the word "evil" unless it's the name of a book. It's all just "be the baddiest baddy that's bad that could ever the baddiest type of bad baddy. Bad bad bad bad bad bad..." Axl being food driven with caveman talk bothers me a bit. Although if the shorts were anything to go by, there are a few moments where he is inconsistent on that. I have high hope for Nexo Knights, and I hope that it does better than poor Chima fared.
  12. That's 'cause all of the Classic Castle Collectors have already left the building, those that continue to dislike it, at least. Those that remain to complain are trying to keep themselves from spending money, even though they know they love it. They will learn. And... jestros-volcano-base-is-bigger-than-the-fortrex-yes-hunny-come-to-poppa
  13. Oh if Pixar had given Studio Trigger full rights. If Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill are anything to go by, it would have been glorious.
  14. STOP PLAYING WITH MY HEART!!! I'm already sold. It's one thing to say that the set is similar in ilk to what may be one of the greatest Lego Castles of all time... but when you combine that with the motif of one of the best bad guy villain bases Lego has ever produced!?! I don't know whether I should even let my wallet know this exists! It will certainly cry as much as I already have! :wub_drool:
  15. The Venomari are unique in the Jr.'s sets. Surprised to say the least! Anyone notice that on the back of the box that it tells you which of the Djinn blades are included? Among them is also Nadakhan's lamp, which despited being silhouetted on the back of the box, isn't featured in any of the sets... Either we have another store exclusive, D2C exclusive, or a multi-wave story on our hands! I'm leading more towards the first of those, although the third is certainly something that I'd be excited about.
  16. The only thing that was mentioned was that the Ninja already knew Ronin. That's it. Everything else about that game in non-canon.
  17. Regarding rumored "filler" season. Keep in mind that it will actually have a plot to it, not some hodge-podge in order to make pointless ends meet. It's going to be a full fledged season along the lines of Rebooted.
  18. Most likely. It definitely won't be Skybound. They wouldn't promote that and Nexo Knights simultaneously. It's like shooting NK in the foot. Something Scooby-Doo will be showing as well.
  19. That's the physically sealed entrance Mandate was talking about...
  20. I think the Ultra Dragon (and it's component members) were the only breed that could get in. I know it's been stated that Dragons in general are the key, but can we actually consider the Ninja's Elemental Dragons as actual entities as opposed to manifestations of their elements? The Realm Crystal was something that I completely forgot about. Could be some sort of means to leave the Underworld, but that still wouldn't explain Samukai returning (if he even is!).
  21. Recall that the criteria for Ninjago deaths is that you have to see them literally poof out of existence, or have to be stated as naturally dead. The only ones that apply here are Samukai (poof), the Stone Army (poof), Dr. Julien (pronounced dead with little story development remaining between him and Zane), the Overlord (poof), the Nindroids (poof, though Cryptor was in Kryptarium if I recall. Why? Because plot hole) Wrayth (poof) and Morro (drowns and due being a ghost, probably poofed.) Anyone else "dead" is considered returning material aside from the Skullkin besides Kruncha and Nuckal (the Underworld was sealed shut with the latter two outside).
  22. Lego has been giving Ninjago the soft reboot treatment. You ever wonder why Kruncha and Nuckal don't just show up out of nowhere? It's because they are no longer relevant. Anything before Rebooted and beyond might get a slight reference, but it won't be developed upon anymore in order to not confuse the newer generation of Ninjago fans. It's the reason why in all of the media Lego has been doing on the Ninja was mostly bios at the start. Sure the Serpentine might say hi. The Stone Army might be touched upon. But the Underworld is sealed, and not only that, but Samukai poofed. If you poofed, you're dead in Ninjago (unless you've canonically died of natural causes). In Pythor's case. He just showed up in rebooted, brushed off his "Devoured" experience, and it was all good. There won't probably any talk about his early shenanigans from now on (that's if he even shows up again!). I don't see how Zane's Tumbler would imply a throwback, either.
  23. Regarding the "Samukai is returning thing," That was the first draft of the episode. They could have totally scrapped this opening, or the opening is a dream. Just keep that in mind. Loving the idea of Tiger Widow Island only being $50!
  24. The windshield features a comlink channel similar in the style of MG. The fact that it's a camo-green mech influenced that, I'm sure, but the reference is not about the robot itself. It's similar to having Sentai Moutnain in the GPS on the side of the Nindroid Mechdragon. Not sure. Wu isn't (as far as we know). Is that smirk of his new?
  25. Guessing from previous exclusives, then the King's Mech is most likely going to end up at Toys R Us. They usually get the most expensive out of waves that feature 3 exclusives (City of Stiix, Heartlake Airport) and Walmart typically gets the cheapest (Chain Cycle Ambush, Heartlake Private Jet being an infrequent exception).
