I hope these minifigs are preliminary. They look very dull from this perspective. This is extremely unfortunate, what with the fantastic designs we have been accustomed to in resent years.
-
Odds are, they will be showing up later in Year 2 and therefor don't have finalized designs yet. On that note. I hope that the PPG have moulded heads. It just wouldn't be right if they were normal minifig heads. Amiibo isn't a universe similar to Skylanders, and the now defunct Disney Infinity. Sonic was licensed out to Nintendo for Super Smash Bros. and wouldn't have happened had they not arranged his return in the game. Since he isn't owned by Nintendo, Sonic can go where he pleases.

Reminder that I'm very happy this movie won't be interfering with the TV show. HOWEVER, This cast is quite star studded. I'm open to see where this goes. I will remain positive that the cast is strong, and will hope for some actual footage or teaser will show up soon to reassure how this will turn out.

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like

-Seraph of the End (Owari no Seraph) is really good for what's there so far. The series has ended at the moment due to it (very quickly) catching up with the manga. It's quite suspenseful none the less. -Blood Blockade Battlefront (Kekkai Sensen) is an unfortunately brief story that's shrouded in intrigue, complete with a zany cast of characters. -My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) is currently airing, and is a believe in yourself story. Although generic in context, all of the characters are brimming with personality for a fantastic experience both story-wise, and visually. -Food Wars (Shokugei no Soma) is a comedic and very technical story that speaks for itself in the title. Most of the characters are quite gerneric, but it's enjoyable none the less. Also, understand what "Umami" means before watching. -Seven Deadly Sin (Nanatsu no Taizai) is another story with great characters, but, compared to BBB, has a much more lush world. Also, if you are looking for a great ongoing story, with a very generic drive, but lush world. I would suggest watching Fairy Tail. -

So I was watching Food Wars (Shokugei no Soma), when a cousin of one of the central characters was talking about how her family started a gourmet research facility in Denmark. This was accompanied by a visual of what the building looked like. Clearly the artist for the series based their research on "modern building design in Denmark" because this building... ... is the Lego House. A near carbon copy. Odds are this will pass even some trained eyes. -
Perhaps something similar to the yearly SDCC reveals? Although, I think, at least with Ninjago, It'll probably be just design/minifig reveals. I would be extremely surprised if the final sets were official enough to be seen in public. I mean we are still more than a year away from the movie's release!
-
Perhaps Queen Halbert will be this years Target Cube minifig? To be honest, though, both of the last cubes were leaked pretty early in the year. I'm actually surprised we haven't seen this year's. That is, of course, if we are getting one.
-
But they're still listed as "Out of Stock." I'm not sure the code changes anything.

Perhaps this is a Starter Set developed for Nintendo's new console, the NX. It is the only console of the next (potential) generation that will be releasing in the first half of next year (supposedly) so it would make sense to plan a release for it during Year 2. Isn't this the same Starter Set that replacement parts lists Supergirl with?

LEGO Racers: Would you like to see a new one?
PenPlays replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I second the idea with incorporating it with Lego Dimensions. It is probably the best way to got about it now. Say, along with a battle arena and a hub world, each theme had its own racetrack. Not too long. Not to short. Each level with its own unique tune (not ripped from the movies/shows/games they represent). A repertoire of power-ups (some throw-backs and some new). Most importantly, a Rocket Racer pack, whether a Level Pack, Fun Pack, or Team Pack with Veronica Voltage, or Pepper Roni (to represent Lego PC games as a whole), it is a necessity for this sort of concept, and the nostalgic vibe they want to give off. Introducing this concept might encourage Lego to include some Legacy levels as well, perhaps even release a couple more packs based off their old IPs. People would agree that Adventurers would fit that bill, yes? -
I understand that everyone is very excited and happy about the new IP's we will be getting (as am I). I hate to put a damper on the hype train, though, in regards to pack reveals. Initially only the first wave was revealed at E3 with the exception of two or three packs from the second wave. Almost every month or so, we would get the third, fourth, and fifth, revealed in unorganized spurts (i.e. Bane (Wave 5) being fully revealed alongside Sensei Wu (Wave 3). So what we have fully revealed (and available for pre-order) so far is wave 1, or most of it, at least. We may just find ourselves having to play the waiting game for some of our favorites, and I know that it will be tough for all of us.

No hoods that we know of. Nya's primarily dark bley this time around with maroon and azure highlights. The other ninja retain their primary and secondary colors. Some of them (if not all of them) also sport the dual molded legs if I remember correctly.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

What are those delicious suit designs!?! Also. It looks like Cole has either some control of his ghostly form, or has been remedied of it completely.- 4,591 replies

Dang it's a beauty. The store. What if an old lady, unknown to her, picked up this leaked set, and ended up getting sued. Imagine the negative publicity. I've seen several pallets of Lego being put out late on a Walmart shelf, and they were all labeled with bold, red street date stickers (it was well past that date, too, funnily enough ). I'm sure this set will be no different. A breach of confidential information (such as an exclusive set) would not only encourage Lego to cut ties completely with the store, but also sue them. I would say that if someone, regardless of whether they obtained the set by legal means or not, shares images of the confidential set online, then they are subject to being sued as well, as they are submitting confidential information onto the internet, not meant for the outside world.

Technically Skybound is new. Until tonight, the series hadn't exactly aired in its fullness in the US. Also, the Ninjago website and S@H have been updated with the new stuff. Sets release August 1st.

This is just fantastic. I was sitting here all, "Oh I don't have as much Lego I want to get this year. What will I be using that money on..." *sigh* I surrender Lego Dimensions. At first I thought the idea was cool, but then Adventure time happened. And now I see Lego Sonic, one of the things I have always wanted as a child, and I simply cannot have enough of it. I'm quite speechless in how to describe how I feel.

You horrible tease...
-
If August is the official release date, you'll start to see them at stores like Toys R Us in mid-July.
-
It's later this month, actually. I'm expecting some details on that anniversary at E3 with more details at his Birthday Bash they're holding.

Great Cavora (he-he) im-so-so-sorry-but-not-really This is going to be a great twist for the series. Now that I don't have to be skeptical... ...Yes

Well at least UK's LEGO Brand Stores got them... I was told at my local store that they would no longer be selling Bionicle, handed me a Free Shipping Coupon, and told me that I could find them online. Although I appreciate the gesture with the coupon, what on earth is going on with Bionicle that would cause LEGO to make this decision?

Think of it this way. Season 2 is about the Summer sets.
-
Perhaps you should have waited until images surfaced, you tease... I'm hoping that this isn't setting the precedence for the theme's future. The last time we got battle packs in an action theme... it died rather swiftly. *ahem* So what are the new villains?
-
On a positive though. Lego has been doing a really good job this year making sure that there is at least something new releasing every month. For all we know, the Nexo Knights sets may be releasing in July.
-
It's not a delay, it's a marketing strategy. You have two contenders for the "boys (primarily) action theme." Release the brand new one first, and then save the more memorable, more famous one for later in the year so that it doesn't cannibalized the new theme's sales.
