  2. Captain Dee, thank you for paying homage to the real prototype - it is truly a masterpiece in engineering! Unfortunately, only the instructions for the base were done with LPub, the rest are hand-made.
  3. Congratulations, Alex! Only one remark: the 5.5L axle on the boom seems to protrude a little further than it should. Scapuc, maybe you should wait for Alex's instructions?
  4. Thanks everyone for the kind words! Good suggestion! I'll try to gather some transparent parts for future builds.
  5. Very lively scene!
  6. Graham Gidman, Balbo, msx80, Balthazar, thank you! I'm glad I managed to overcome procrastination. :)
  7. Wow, it's so much better with SBricks hidden inside!
  8. In the age when starships are furrowing the vasts of the galaxy, a mysterious threat emerges from the darkest depths of space... This model depicts space pirates' formidable flagship which is called "Galactic Nautilus" because its shape resembles a submarine. Additional views of the ship: The following photo demonstrates sophisticated fuel storage and distribution system of the ship. Front cannons: Additional links: flickr Building instructions are available on Rebrickable.
  9. Have you tried rotating it by hand?
  10. I hope you didn't connect it directly to M-motor...
  11. I'm surprised nobody mentioned mass relays.
  12. Yes, it's quite simple. Anyway, here is the file.
  13. Since it looks promising, I'll put it in the queue until I find a suitable MOC for it. :)
  14. This contraption imitates a spinning gyroscope-like structure. The left axle is driven and the right axle is attached to the frame. When the left axle rotates the outer ring, the right axle transfers rotation in opposite direction through the series of gears to the middle ring. The same principle is used to transfer rotation to the inner ring. What do you think about this idea? Will it work? Unfortunately I don't have so many connectors #3 right now, so I can't reproduce it in reality. However, I tested this idea with only one ring, and it worked. The idea described above resulted in a project of a large Technic spaceship which is currently in a WIP state. Updates:

    [MOC] Top Secret

Kodan Black, Balthazar, Balbo, thank you! Unfortunately they can - it once fell from the stand by accident before I took the photo.
  16. Here is a secret dossier from Area 51 with a codename 'Alien Scout'. Original sketch depicting the mysterious alien is shown below. Who is it: a living creature in an exosuit, a cyborg or a robot? It has a humanoid shape, but the differences from human anatomy are significant. And the purpose of all those devices on its suit remains unclear.

  18. Great job, Duky! Thanks for sharing photos!
  19. Do you mean the fake motors and fans? Could you post some photos? In any case, try switching the polarity on the manual switch.
  20. Indeed, I recolored this portion of the boom when I was making the instructions because those tiny panels had become available in Black by that time.
  21. Instructions reflect only the latest, improved version. I've just downloaded the instructions, and everything is fine for me. Try downloading it again.
  22. You may skip substep 1 on page 11 of the building instructions for the base.
  23. I think you may skip the long pin with center pin hole which is inserted in those holes in 53533.
