    I have a dud servo motor. :-( Just got off the phone with customer service, a replacement will be here in a couple of weeks :-) They are in stock at the replacement parts warehouse. The guy on the phone was great!!!!

    I moved from Sydney to Brisbane I January and I completely broke down all 100+ sets and packed them back in their boxes for the move. After 6 months I have only 7471 mars rover 8041 race truck 8459 pneumatic front end loader 10227 UCS B wing Left to build It's been a busy 6 months....... :-D

    Hahaha for sure, I wonder how many technic fans there are in brissy...? Back on topic, I think I will get this little monster truck when it comes out. I just bought a used 9398 for parts so it would be fun to attempt to jam in some power functions and 3rd party tyres to see what it can do....

    I work for a large retailer so this poor service saddens me..... I all seriousness, complain. Call the myer customer care line and tell them what has happened. Your reciept should have a reciept number as well as the store number and the cashiers name or operator number, this info is all they should need to credit the 10% to your lay by. I have found Myers customer care line to be quite helpful for general enquiries so they should be just as helpful when rectifying poor service. Trust me, if they take customer service as seriously as I do in my store they will bend over backwards to make it right for you. And of course it helps to be polite when speaking with the customer care people too.... And back on topic, anyone seen any good technic buys in this years sales? 42001 from myer ( i think) looks about the best I have seen but I haven't really been looking this year after my "episode" in last years sale ( I spent waaaay too much lol)

    I'm looking forward to the launch of Mocplans, I have a decent collection of built sets and I have done a little bit of MOCing but I can happily admit that my skills are not at a level to create anything like the great MOCs that I see posted here in the technic forum. So the opportunity to build someone else's creation using interesting techniques that perhaps TLC designers may shy away from will hopefully help me to develop my skills to a point where I can share a creation in the future. Then there is the fact that I'm a huge F1 fan so models like Roscoes F1 cars are just way too cool not to build!! I suppose the thing to remember is that this hobby is supposed to be fun!!! :-)

    Lobot - love your build photos I'm waiting on 3 small orders to arrive then i can start!! My big plastic tub is so full of parts i can barely clip the lid on....... the dining table has already been reseved for building

    Picked up a Technic 8448 Super Street Sensation for $30 off gumtree today. Just finished washing all the parts and it appears that under the layer of dust is a mint set, not a scratch in sight!! cant wait to put it back together again Bargain

    The Aussies on the forum may recognise this, Boss crawler reminds me of the Holden overlander, an off road ute based on the production Holden HZ ute. i used to see the odd one around when i was younger but havent seen one in a few years

    I believe that part has been changed due to the original part being installed the wrong way around causing it to lock up.

    I have a big tub next to my building desk that contains about half of the parts for my bricklinked falcon I placed the final orders this evening so hopefully in a few weeks when the last orders arrive i will start building. I gotta say its a pretty big task managing multiple wanted lists and gathering all of the parts from stores all over the world in order to keep the cost reasonable but overall its been a very satisfying experience and im sure i will be stoked once the last brick is placed on the finished model Even my wife is keen to see the end result and has been encouraging me!!

    NIIIIIIIIIICE Thanks DrWeevil that Lego ferarri F1 puts my little 1/8, 1/9 & 1/10 ones to shame back on topic, anyone "on the inside" know if coles express will be selling the display case for the promo cars? I saw some pop up on ebay shortly after the promo started in malaysia but havent seen any again for a fair while now....

    Yes please!! MASSIVE F1 fan here On topic, i will be all over these when they hit the servos. I was going to grab the full set off BL but at about $10 a pop plus postage i was hesitant I always fill up with V power at coles express so this will work out rather nicely glad i waited.......
