  2. It's come a long way in the last week that's for sure!! so we just have to paint the base and the excavator pit and put a heap more rocks around it and we are done I reckon some "testing" may have occurred........ don't know if there is any video though, i'm sure there will be plenty this weekend though http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=84744 time to bump another thread too....
  3. Reaper V Shadow monster? I will be crushed by the reaper....
  4. Very good prices for the technic sets, especially the motor cross bike with the new tyres, orange panels and lots of chain. I'm off to Kmart tomorrow for a couple of those!!!
  5. I reconnected with Lego while on holidays in Hawaii in late 2011, I was in a mall and saw a Lego store, I said to my wife "wow they have stores just for Lego, we don't have them in Australia" So I walked in and saw 10220 VW kombi van and bought it straight away. I admired 8070 on the shelf and commented that technic had come a long way since I was a kid I returned the next day and bought 8070........ I have my own Lego room and thousands of spare parts now and I'm really enjoying making MOC's :-)
  6. Those little traffic cones are awesome!!! I just ordered a bunch from rc4wd.com LOL Cheers!!!
  7. Great idea, but if you look closely at the photos you will see that's exactly what we have done :-) Thanks for the kind words and encouragement guys. I have a couple of the obstacles nearing completion in my garage ready to be added to the course so we should have some photos of the almost finished product by next weekend!!
  8. There is a Benneton F1 team joke in there somewhere........ :-P

  10. Simply amazing, the complex inner workings plus the looks, a complete package. Very well done indeed.
  11. so many great ideas in this thread, keep them coming!!
  12. Top idea!!   for the cars in question I would need to track down some MB vehicles from an op shop though
  13. hmmmm now who would be foolish enough to collaborate with you to build a course like this........ lol now seriously we have the materials and building techniques sorted but need some ideas for obstacles etc so i'll kick things off how about 1. a couple of stacks of logs with a triangular cross section 2. a bunch of rubble scattered tightly to create a lumpy patch any and all ideas are welcomed and greatly appreciated cheers!!
  14. That's exactly what I have gone for :-) I have BL'd 10179 with a heap of unnoticeable subs so in an old hand at it lol
  15. First of all I want to give thanks again to the creators of the MOCs on the site, they are awesome and i respect the time and effort that goes into producing the instructions, I certainly do not have the skills to do it!! So I don't want my feedback/ suggestion to be taken the wrong way :-) Perhaps if you could load the parts into Brickstore to check the average price of the parts. Some super expensive parts could perhaps be substituted for cheaper colored versions if they are hidden inside the model or substituted for a couple of cheaper parts that do the same job. I just BL'd the missing parts for the Lotus F1 car and there was no way I was going to pay $6+ for a green 1x4 snot brick x12 qty!!!!! I will see how my substituted parts look once built :-)
  16. wow, looks great, such a different style of bike. show us a brick version!!
  17. I just purchased a set of instructions and found the site rather quick and easy to use. Link was emailed instantly and the instructions are very high quality. Top work, I will be purchasing more in the future for sure!
  18. So cool and original Well done!!!!
