Daleks find the/a Doctor
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks MAC. Well, yes, the usual Indy chases have been done a lot of times. I'm trying to bring him into the not so usual situations- 10 replies

Excellent. I've already seen the pics on flickr. Again I'd like to mention the columns, apart from the overall nice design and layout.

A strange encounter somewhere in Egypt: DOCTOR! Yes, that's me. WE HAVE FOUND THE DOCTOR! Yes, Dr. Henry Jones Junior. DR. JONES? NOT DR. WHO? Dr. Who? WE HAVE FOUND THE DOCTOR! EXTERMINATE! Hang on. Which person are you looking for? THE DOCTOR Which doctor? NOT A WITCH DOCTOR. DOCTOR WHO! Are you a bit daft? EXTERMINATE! .... Some more and larger pictures can be found in my flickr account. Best regards CB

I like this too Thanks! They've tried but the other bank customers complained about the noise... -

Captain Braunsfeld replied to Magical_Chicken's topic in Pirate MOCs
Fine so far - keep going! -
Fine ship, fine scene. I can only recommend to go for 3d-clouds!

This has a nice "classic" feel to it!

Thank you! My problem was: I had just this temple. We never produced any more Roman buildings to go with it...

Very clever MOC

The sets look great - I like the chariot the most!

Three amazing builds squeezed into one post - what a waste! We would want to celebrate each of your MOCs separately - they are great! I love that chess set - and the chateaus/castles especially with that beautiful garden are magnificent!

I have missed the Mist. Overall a fine ship with those custom sails etc. - and the bow section is nice. However, I am not so sure about the poop deck. It looks like you are transporting a safe... I understand that otherwise there is no space for a captain's cabin but is there "room" for a different solution?

Quite nice, your Gipsy! Sail on! -
Pretty fine bunch of people there. I'll buy them all once they'll come out!

There is a Modular Music Store in town where Jyff Lenne is selling records and musical instruments. The first floor contains a recording studio: C&C welcome.

Captain Cookie hides a treasure
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
No, clouds are attached by bricks: Thank you, Faladrin - and all the best for 2018! It did. My pictures prove it! However, the cartons did not survive over time. That's why you only find bottles from that era. -
Captain Cookie hides a treasure
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
The Captain has been around for a while. You will find his flagship here and his cabin here. Not really. Where do you think the gold is coming from in the first place? The clouds are floating above the scene. -
Fine ship with great details. I like the red and the while hull version. Let's see where I can find and support this on ideas.

Captain Cookie: This character has been a part of the "Brethren of the Brick Seas" but it seems that this is a little adventure aside from BoBS: With the help of two faithful companions Captain Cookie went ahead to hide some of his booty. Cookies and banana milk were at hand to ease the work. A mild breeze from the sea sent over a few white clouds. I wonder what is inside that treasure chest? Bananas? C&C Welcome!

There was a small Roman Temple that I had built some time ago but not really presented here. Which I wanted to do before I take it apart. You could take the roof off: It featured remarkable small space inside ... was more "bigger on the outside"-type of thing. The minifigs inside the temple could see this lovely sky above their heads... (but the inside was heavily influenced by Egypt) Final post for 2017 - all the best to you for 2018!
