  1. I am hoping for a Bluecoat ship too!
  2. Thanks. That was the idea Yepp, I think the path is ok. Thanks for noticing. I have not done so many trees before. I am still practising. Well spotted: The tree trunk IS very basic... The boy likes all kinds of apples. Thanks. Thanks for that. I probably should have claimed "humor". Maybe it is time to set up the "Comical Academy of Mitgardia"...
  3. The boy stood, watching, waiting. Autumn had come with a promise of ripe fruit and sweetness. The day passed by and so did grumpy carrot farmers from nearby Thorshaven. But the boy did not move. He stood in front of the tree and watched the apple. His apple. He waited for it to fall down. I would like to claim UoP credits for: - Anthropology: countryside scene. - Agriculture: harvest time. The scene is set in Mitgardia (when it is not covered with snow). Builder's note: I often struggle in finding good titles for my MOCs that help to draw attention to my creations. Maybe it will work out this time...
  4. Bonjour and welcome to Eurobricks! I hope your daughters will develop a liking for star wars!
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks! Pity, you resisted the LoTR wave (it is pretty much over now) - enjoy the Elves!
  6. This is fantastic - and definitely 70s because of the yellow/orange curtain.
  7. Quite good. Quite accurate. I seem to be missing the Tiger. That one was always fascinating for me. Is it up for 2015?
  8. Voodoo would be interesting. (Fitting into "Monkey Island" as well). Otherwise I'd rather go for a ship full of monkeys than for a ship full of chimaish wolves.
  9. Now, that is quite unusual! Brick on!
  10. Man, your MOCs are totally forked up!
  11. Point taken. Otherwise everything is fine with Mitgardia.
  12. I thought I had seen this before ... so it's a great counter!
  13. Great - and I like weird stuff!
  14. Excellent build, excellent story. If I am allowed to, I'd give you +1 for roofs +1 for roof raking +1 for interior design and I like your ship very much. I'd give you lots of points for that one (e.g. for the sails). .. and I have a question: Where are the dark brown helmets from?
  15. Ok, I found the clues on mocpages...
  16. beautiful - what a beautiful and clear design! (aquaeducts are quite popular these days...)
  17. Thanks for the review! No. The key obstacle to me is that I constantly have to translate what the figures are standing for. So the "map thing" is ... and this keeps me from judging how good or bad a chess position is.
  18. The is probably the most ambitious project that I have seen on this forum to date! Very good - brick on!
  19. Good - but are the cars all sold out? SCNR
  20. Great - I think I got most of it (e.g. Lindbergh or Charleston). Still wondering about the murder scene and the particle accelerator...
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks! On sorting: What works for me is to have - "common bricks" in large boxes by colour - "special but numerous bricks" in large boxes with mixed colours. - "special bricks in small number" in different segments of small boxes (used for screws, nails, etc. by "normal people"). I.e. I'll have all the simple white bricks in one box (2x4, 2x3, 2x2, 1x2, 1x3...) and I would have epaulettes, mushrooms and apples in separete compartments of small boxes. Arches would go in a large box, but in mixed colours. Helpful?
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks!
