    Here’s a description that popped up that sounds very new and exciting as far as Lego castle civilian subjects: - old farmhouse - cheese maker - Broken Axes Inn - shieldsmith’s workshop - watchtower minifigs include: - crook (is that a typo of cook or is that a term for a shepherd?) - carpenter - tax collector - tapestry weaver - agieldsmith tower guard

    That is interesting. Thing is, we’re assuming it’s the Magical Workshop, but I haven’t seen that confirmed anywhere, so it could be something else.

    Yup, that’s what I’m basing my assumption on too. Variants would be greatly appreciated. Something like a lions archer in a similar style to the CMF falconer would be appreciated.

    Agreed. I think it'll end up being quite similar in scale to the prelim. Also, if it's anything to go by, I think any knights that may come with it will be Lions. That wouldn't break my heart at all, but of course, updated Black Knights would be preferred. Man, I'm so excited about this. I'm so pleased that this appears to be happening.

    He definitely needs a print of some kind, even if it’s the BaM torso/skirt piece reused.

    Thanks! I honestly love the Lion stuff we’ve gotten and there’s definitely room for more, like in the rumored village set. (Since it seems to indicate a reimagining of the Guarded Inn done in the new Lions style) That said, I don’t think the Majisto set is the best fit, even if it is most likely.

    I’m going to guess that it’ll come with a Lion knight. 10305 has Majisto aligned with the Lion knights, so I think they’re going to swap them out for the remake. I think we can all agree a Dragon Master knight would be preferred, but that’s what I see as most likely.

    What you seem to be describing are unprinted versions of the CMF Viking helmet, except that helmet wasn’t used in the Creator Viking ship, the old school horned helmet was. Lastly, it has only ever been made on PDG https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=67037#T=C&C=77 What they’re talking about is what most refer to as the “great helm”. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=89520&idColor=77#T=C&C=77 They’re saying that this latest version is PDG, but close examination seems to show it in black, which is currently available on PaB from 10305 Lion Knights castle.

    It doesn’t have to be original to count as great usage of a cool technique. It really frames the scene well.

    Hey, this bow looks great! I think it'll fit in with Castle quite well. Crossing my fingers for an upcoming Lion archer with this bow in the future.

    I'm glad to see that it's real, haha. I wonder what the price threshold will be. Also, do you think a big PaB purchase would qualify for a GWP?

    Beautiful and sad. I like it. The Gothic arch technique is great.

    This definitely looks like a new recurve bow with flat limbs instead of the more rounded limbs we’ve gotten in the past. Looks like it could be applicable to historic themes. It’s pretty low res though, so we’ll have to wait to see for sure. A new style lions archer with a new recurve bow in the next regular CMF wouldn’t hurt my feelings. Or maybe in the rumored village set? Wishful thinking on my part.

    With regard to licensed element re-use, the armor that we’re getting for castle like in the blacksmith set started out as SW Praetorian guard armor, then got applied to Ninjago in PDG and Silver for the blacksmith set. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=37614&in=S And again, this armor is so generically medieval/fantasy when compared to the SW source material, I think application to other themes is a safe bet.
