  1. Imagine that armor piece with a different print or no print in silver. What is futuristic about it then? TLG always has alternate uses in mind for new elements.
  2. Holy crap, look at that pauldron/gorget armor piece! You just know the designer was grinning ear to ear thinking of the castle parts usage while they made it. And yes, that helmet is awesome too. Edit: after looking up the character this minifig represents, that armor doesn’t even look like the SW character. It looks l more like old school Warcraft armor, in a good way. I think future applications of this armor piece are going to be really good for castle.
  3. This goat discussion has waded into the territory of madness. At this point, I don’t care about the stupid goat, I just want this set to actually happen. Civilian-focused medieval setting done in modern style sounds like a dream set and the fuzzy prelim photo has a ton of promise and would be the best set of this kind that we’ve ever gotten, with or without a goat.
  4. I know I’ve already gushed about this project on Instagram or Reddit, but I love every detail about this. Starting with the modularity of it and extending to the fabulous style and details. Supported! I hope you get picked! It looks like you’ve got quite a lot of votes already.
  5. The unicorn knight is very strange. Ignoring the odd head entirely, it's also disappointing that the dual-molded legs are not printed like the Lion Knight's Castle. A weird selection that makes it easy for me to skip the 90 minute drive to the nearest Lego store.
  6. It definitely was the first set I ever got. Still have one flag and most of the minifigs, though the knights helmets and visors are long gone.
  7. I dig the scale of this. Can't wait to see it working.
  8. Agreed. Blacksmithing was important, but was not the only non-military job of the time as past Lego sets would indicate. What other trades have they shown? Food seller, cook/baker, farmer... court jester and bard. Anything else? There's opportunity for so many more things. Carpenter, brewer, cobbler, weaver, fletcher, cooper, thatcher, glass blower, painter, sculptor, mason, potter, a fabric dye operation could be cool. So much potential.
  9. Plus, being preliminary, if this does come to fruition, we can guarantee that the minifigs will be different.
  10. Wow, you’re right. Gone from most (but not all) of Reddit too. I’ve never seen that happen before.
  11. I can’t bring myself to criticize details one way or the other since it’s both preliminary and so low res. What I can do is be excited that TLG is even thinking this direction and hoping that something like this does come to fruition. Fingers crossed!
  12. I'm less concerned with timing and just happy that TLG is thinking about the future of castle. Keep 'em coming and I'll keep buying.
  13. For those interested in army building, Bricking Up Brad on YouTube (great castle content!) is having a livestream debate tonight with shytimeismytime who has an obscenely large Black Falcons army. Check it out and tell Brad that Blake sent you!
  14. Holy Cow! (and calf, and goat, and...) I really hope this is real. We're certainly due for a good civilian set and having it fit with the design style of the Lion Knight's castle is a big plus. Amazing!
  15. That Frozen torso/skirt piece works great for this.
  16. Heck yes! I have loved this series since the day you first posted about it. Good thinking keeping everything together. I really appreciate that you're taking the time to re-photograph these.
  17. Love this! Gave you a follow on Instagram. The castle looks fantastic but the skeleton horde is terrifying, lol.
  18. What a beauty. Really embracing the verticality. The offset entry adds interest.
  19. If you go back through the conversation, I’ve been perfectly civil. I haven’t called anyone any names or posted condescending GIFs. I’ve even gone out of my way to clarify that I was not intending to come off as aggressive. I can’t say the same for Sam. Maybe he’s used to the more hateful corners of the internet, but I’ve been here a long time. I know where the lines are drawn. I’m done with this nonsense.
  20. Smart. That’s a good plan.
  21. Yup, same happened to me. Lion Knight torsos/legs were sold out by the time I figured it out. *shakes fist at TLG* I'll keep checking in on it and post up if/when I find them available. I think it's cool that we're helping each other out with this.
  22. I've already won the argument. You made a claim that requires data, but provided no data. I made a claim that the data doesn't exist or at least hasn't presented itself outside of a TLG board room. YOU go do the work, or recognize that your argument is not valid. I'm fine with either.
  23. Yeah I figure. Just hoping for something more useful.
  24. Yeah I wonder if we’ll get a forestmen hat in a new color for Robin.
  25. You missed the burden of proof I mentioned.
