  1. The cement mixer and Octan tanker are definitely on my "must-have" list. I am a bit "meh" about the flatbed, but love the dark red car on the back.
  2. This is really cute. I love the colour combination, the ground floor front windows and the balcony rails for the first floor. Well done!
  3. I've done a 16-stud wide version that could easily be expanded to 32 studs with enough bricks. See here. I have a Bricksmith file for this that I am happy to share. Just PM me. The main challenge was the roof, specifically the overhang on the sides. The chimney sticks out the side in the official version, but this could be placed at the back in a modular version. In a 32-stud version, the front veranda (the official one, not the one I did) can be extended to the edges of the baseplate so that you can use its base for the technic bricks to connect to other modulars. I have also seen one that had the fence included as part of a 32-wide version, but I can't recall where I saw that. I think it had the fence going down the side of the building with a few studs gap between the fence and the house.
  4. This is great ... you can almost hear him screaming "Noooo!", as the ship is flying away. But, "Baby come back" has been in my head since you first posted this. Given I only know two phrases in this song, this has been quite frustrating!!
  5. This is a beautiful train station. I love the curved platform!
  6. I think the style of the Bridsville Hotel would work well in New Mannum.
  7. I'm drooling. This is really beautiful Castor-Troy. I love the colour combination and the brick effect you've created is fantastic. Nice interior for the ground floor too! Do the upper floors have an interior? Do you mind if I try the brick effect one day, with the appropriate credit of course?
  8. "Stand Off" came to mind when I saw the last picture.
  9. This is magnificent! So many different things to drool over ....
  10. I love that flowerbed, bursting with so much colour and texture. The trees are just stunning.
  11. Nice design for the couch and the table. And a great little story. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
  12. Wow! This is so clever and so well executed. Those little building are so cute!
  13. Thanks PsyKater, The Dutch Guy, CarrollFilms and TheLegoDr! Thanks, Bricktrain. I am currently playing around with some different colour combinations to make a row of townhouses. I think I'll try your suggestion, it should provide an interesting variation. Cheers, Kristel
  14. These are really cool! The bonnet on the first one is nicely done and the back looks "mean", like it has some real grunt.
  15. Nice work! The stone work on the chimney is beautiful. I quite like the steam effect as it is. My only suggestion would be to have some white or maybe light grey at the base of the steam, towards the centre, so that the steam looks denser nearer to the top of the chimney.
  16. I wasn't sure about this one when only the first floor was revealed, but the finished building looks fantastic. I like how you have done the "Toys" sign. You might need some tall chain wire fencing around the roof though, otherwise you are going to end up with a few skateboarders hitting the pavement below!
  17. Like sonicstarlight's would be nice!
  18. Love the details you have packed into this scene. I just noticed the T-bone in the old tree trunk??
  19. Looking good. I like how you have done the outdoor lights. Should there be 1x1 white bricks to fill in the corner between the two brick walls?
  20. This is awesome. The doubling up of the Joust building for entrance to the village works really well. I love the landscaping, particularly around the village houses, and the atmosphere you have created by having all the spectators for the joust. The castle wall itself is very impressive and looks quite formidable as the backdrop to this diorama.
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  22. This is definitely on the "must have" list. Great minifigures, impressive looking building, gorgeous angel wings and an awesome parts pack for modular MOCs.
  23. Every town has a pub, but not necessarily an RSL club. But when I think RSL club, I also think lawn bowls, which would be kind of cool to have.
  24. Have you got a pub yet? Maybe local council offices? And a statue or fountain for the park (to go with the picnic area)?
  25. This is quite mesmerising, not only because of the beautiful flower you have created, but also the great story that goes with it. I imagine this would have taken a lot of patience to build.
