  3. This is one impressive building, with a stunning facade. I would not have thought to put blue and black together for a roof, but it works really well on this building.
  4. Thanks, everyone, for the nice comments! Go for it, I'd be honoured. Even more so if you give me a mention when you do!
  5. Not a strange one at all. I would love to have glass for those rounded windows!
  6. This is awesome. Love the "trophies".
  7. This is just so beautiful in so many ways. I was going to list everything I liked about it, but it would be a list of everything in the MOC. I can see why this was a winner.
  8. This is so gorgeous! I especially like the spindle, cart, garden bench, path, stone path, chair and the chimney.
  9. Emma' house has recently had a Garden Room extension built. On one side is a comfy lounge perfect for reading a book. There are extra seats for when Friends come over. On the other side is the work area, with room for storing the garden tools and potting the plants. This one was a lot of fun to build. Hope you like it. Here is the link to the Flickr stream.
  10. Love the interior, especially the vault. Great work!
  11. Congratulations to the winners, and a round of applause for everyone.
  12. Wow, that is just amazing, awesome and beautiful.
  13. Wow. Inspirational.
  14. Love the facade on the merchant building. You have really managed to capture the essence of the typical regional Aussie town in New Mannum. What do you use for your signage? I have been using Ausinc sticker photo paper and an inkjet printer. This gives OK results in terms of the quality of the colour and printing, but the sticker is quite thick. I have found glossy sticker sheets for laser printers, but no luck so far for an inkjet printer.
  15. Historical. Not sure where that came from.
  16. This is excellent - I love the facade. I also think another floor would make it even more impressive.
  17. I originally bought the adventure camper for the medium azure bike , and didn't really think about any of the other parts. I then built the set for my daughter, but pulled it apart for the pieces just a few days later. 1x10 bright pink bricks!! The bedroom set also looks like it has some nice parts in it.

  21. Awesome! I love the interior of this building, especially those very cool glass stairs.
  22. I don't use the daughter excuse anymore. My husband thinks LEGO is my mid-life crisis and is happy to go with the flow because it is better than drugs, alcohol or gambling. It is already taking over and BrickLink is proving to be very addictive. I started with a few storage boxes on top of the drawers behind the dining table ... then a row of storage drawers, which meant I needed a small bookcase for those original storage boxes. Might as well buy two I said at the time, just in case ... these are now just about full. I am currently wondering where I can hide the hubby's remote control helicopter, which sits on a little corner table in the lounge room that is the perfect size to put the 10225 R2-D2 on!
  23. This is really nicely done. Good luck!

This is gorgeous, and very clever. The shingles look so realistic.
  25. All is revealed in my "Hello, my name is ...", which I have just posted.
