  1. A bit gruesome, but otherwise nicely executed!
  2. This looks great! I like the content, the presentation and the minifig posing. All round, excellent.
  3. i'd say buy it either way. It looks great as a modular and has a lot of useful parts for MOCs once you're done displaying it.
  4. Guess it's back to school for me first, then. You can't blame a girl for trying!
  5. Thanks for the updated pictures. New Mannum is looking better everyday. I think a Mark Falworth type oak tree covered in purple 1x1 round plates would pass as a nice Jacaranda tree. I think these might be originally from South Africa, but there sure are plenty of them around Queensland.
  6. 1. OK, so none, but I did have a horse and a stable when I was younger and I read every post and follow up analysis to Mafia School: Police Infiltration. 2. Yes, I'm already online in the mornings and evenings. I can add my lunch break to that using my phone. 4-day weekend this weekend, then the 3-week lead up to Christmas is traditionally quiet at work, then 3 weeks leave (with 3g iPad in tow if we go anywhere on holidays). 3. Pretty please. 4. Steak, but only because my doctor tells me I'm iron deficient. I'd rather be eating cupcakes.
  7. Another excellent chapter! I like the scene for this one too, especially the clear plates over the tan to imitate wet sand.
  8. I like "the stud and barrel".
  9. Looks really good. Just a tree for the park, a few more people milling about and cars driving around and it will be just about perfect. Do you plan on showing New Mannum anywhere?
  10. Congratulations everyone and thanks to those who voted for me. Special thanks too, to Peppermint_M, for hosting Ninja Month. I had a lot of fun building my entries and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next. I would like an Earth tag please. Or any tag really ... my first tag!!
  11. Wow, this is awesome. I love the curves on this bridge! Would love to see a close up as well to see the detail a bit better.
  12. Has this been confirmed? Did I miss something?
  13. Shadows wasn't kidding when he said this was going to be a blood bath. I was tempted to sign up because this sounded like fun (and it has been fun to follow), but was concerned about how busy I was going to be at work in the coming week. Next time ... now that I know the odds are that you're going to be killed in the first two days!
  14. Another Aussie! Welcome to Eurobricks.
  15. This is great. Looks just like the real thing. The colours remind me of the Toy Story rubbish truck, but I think the similarities end there.
  16. Nice MOC overall, but that black tree is the scene stealer. It looks fantastic. I might have missed the assassin(?) if I hadn't been looking at the tree so closely.
  17. Here's my interpretation of Catwoman Issue No.54: And the original cover: This was really hard to photograph, but I think it captures the essence of the original cover. Hope you like it.
  18. Looks like the Birdsville Pub, but with a black verandah. I like it.
  19. This is awesome. The view from the front car was pretty much like the real deal. Some photos would be nice so we can have a closer look.
  20. This is beautiful. I particularly like how you have done the bridge, the pattern of the tiles and the steps to the building. Great colour combination also for the building - I'm jealous of all those dark red plates!
  21. This is amazing! Good luck, not that I think you will need it. This really is a superb entry.
  22. [insert big bear hug emoticon here] I always try and emphasise to my daughter that being able to spend time with your family and loved ones is more important than receiving presents. Be strong.
  23. Nice work. I really like the fireplace. But I have to agree, it needs a bit more colour to break up the brown!
