This looks awesome! I love the contrast between the style of the Octan gas station and the residential part of the building.

Mafia After Dark - Night 5: The Untouchables
Kristel replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Dad suggested that Colin thought it was Dexter and that he had the hard hat. Maybe we should talk first? I think there are most likely three scum remaining and that these are Candy, Terrence and Priscilla. I'm happy to go with Terrence for the lynch and let Colin decide whether to take out Candy or Priscilla. Vote: Terrence Knox (TrumpetKing) -

Terrence, should we discuss your list again now that we know Dexter is scum? -
So glad to hear it has a happy ending! Mind you, if she loves you, was this outcome ever really in doubt?

WTF? How was Rolfe not scum? If there was any doubt in my mind, it was that we had gotten Dexter, not Rolfe, wrong. You're claiming now? Why do I feel like I'm being watched? -
Great first modular! I love the rooftop balcony and the lights (the ones with the crystals).

Nice modifications. I particularly like how you have done the bookshelves and the study desks. The rug reminds me of a patchwork doona we have here. It's not the prettiest thing, but it's awfully snuggly.

Patricia claimed to be vanilla to me. I don't think she would have lied about that. I think it more likely that the scum blocker is gone. -
Thanks everyone for the the really nice comments. It means a lot to me. Thanks, Chocolatecake! The stripes are 1x2 plates attached perpendicularly to a 1x1 brick with extra knob, with the last one being a tile. I have done up some screen shots, but flickr is down at the moment. Thanks, Redhead! I think the setup is a little outdated for modern accountants' offices, with the large office for the boss, but it's very much what many our state government offices still look like. Thanks, jamesn! It's dark tan on the outside. I'm still using natural light for my photography and it was particularly bright in a few of the shots. Thanks, kevin8. The courtyard is inspired by one of the "PieFace" cafes in Brisbane. It has a relaxing little courtyard out the back similar to this, but without the fountain. Thanks RoxYourBlox! I realised too late that some of the plates had comes off like that. Will try the 1x4 with two studs next time. Thanks eurotrash! The dirty mug in the sink at work is a pet hate of mine, but sure enough someone always does it thinking the fairies will come and clean up for them.

Mafia After Dark - Day 5: Scarface
Kristel replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It feels like it's going to be a long day, waiting to find out if we got it right. My gut tells me we did. I have a lot of lectures to attend today, so I expect I won't be able to add much to the conversation during the day. I don't recall seeing the green guy before. -
Awesome! The truck is impressive in it's own right, but it's the garage that steals the show for me. I love the colour combination, the industrial facade and the integration with the townhouse.

Hi! I'd like to present my latest MOC modular building, which I've called Black Velvet, after the cafe found on the ground floor. It's inspired by New York buildings. The owner has converted the space in the back alley into a little courtyard for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while they enjoy their coffee. The first and second floor houses an accountant office, with the reception and main meeting room on the first floor and the staff offices on the second floor. More images available on flickr. Thanks for looking. C&C welcome!

I think we (collective town) need to agree who to lynch today before you put in your NA. We don't want to decide later to lynch the person you submitted for the kill, as you won't be able to share that name with us. I'm fairly confident we have most if not all the scum in this group: Dexter, Terrence, Rolfe, Candy and Priscilla. I'd be happy for us to lynch Dexter (as Dad suggested) and have you target Rolfe or Candy for the kill. -

My four suspects were stated prior to Priscilla coming out with her "analysis" of Terrence. I agree she is looking scummy and has has not looked very townie at any stage of the gam. I'd be happy to add her, but I don't understand why Terrence shouldn't stay on the list. That would be "game" not "gam". -

It took me about two minutes to find it. You'd think with an important question like yours, that you would double check. Looks like Dad did miss Dexter's vote for you in the bottom summary, although it is there in the top list. -

Odd or convenient. The latter I think, given it was there for everyone to see. I think you would notice those that were accusing you. Also, when are you going to answer my questions? You've been happy to pester me, saying that we need answers, but then don't provide any yourself. -
This is awesome! Your son is very lucky to have a great dad like you!

I missed it the first time round. It was you leaving Adelaide off the list that prompted me to double check. Still begs the question, though, you did such a thorough analysis, yet missed that he hadn't included Dexter. Believe so. Yes. Don't bother asking what and who. I'm not sharing that with the scum. No. Pay attention Dad. I've already clarified that Person A is still alive. Why would you suggest that Dexter wasn't on the list because he wasn't suspicious of Terrence. I quoted the post where he said he was suspicious of Terrence. I guess it's convenient for you to ignore that. Also, why are you calling it the hippie list? Isn't it Terrence's list? Why is it that the people I find the scummiest are asking the most for the identity of Person A? Yes or no - did you write out a list of people for the hippie? Dexter should be on the list because he had you in his top three. I quoted that post above. Again, why did you leave off Dexter? I assume you prepared the list for the hippie. I find it hard to believe that you just asked the hippie how many people that were suspicious of you were scum. That would have required the hippie to go back and check who said what. If I was the hippie and you asked me to do that, I would have told you where to stick it. Who said the scum knew? Patricia thought that the scum might think Jamie or her were my person A. I've explained this before. I'll let you find that post yourself. I'm not prolific a poster so it shouldn't be too hard to find. -

I presume this was meant to have a sarcasm emoticon next to it or maybe this one: ? Why did you leave Dexter off the list? This question applies to both Priscilla and Terrence. The quote below suggests to me that def also suspected Terrence. I've been suspicious of Terrence for a while. You even included a link to the post where I first raise him as suspicious because he was being quieter than his normal self. I am not sure why you are asking me if I am still suspicious of him. I have been pretty much the whole time. -

Just re-reading the thread, trying to decide who I should contact next, when a couple of other things caught my attention. You call him my potential scum buddy [see post 13 tonight] but at the same time are working hard to be his buddy. Make up your mind. Where did Terrence say that the hippie gave him the list? -
