  1. Lovely! My favourite parts are the garden beds, the piano and the bed. The vents at the bottom of the house on the outside also show great attention to detail. I'm looking forward to seeing your future MOCs!
  2. Mr Tomato Bread did an awesome one.
  3. A great looking building, with some fantastic detailing in the laundry itself. I also like how you included a vent at the back for the washing machines. Just one thing I am curious about - what is the red thing in the front left corner of the laundry?

    Town Hall MOC

Congratulations on your second place. Well deserved!
  5. Awesome!! I agree that it has a great "wintery" feel to it. Other than the church itself, the details that caught my eye were the steps leading to the church and the horse's harness. The blanket over the gentleman's legs is also a nice touch.
  6. Thanks for sharing again this year! My favourites so far are the robot, micro Emerald and the house.
  7. Thanks Sean! I felt like this apartment belonged to a little old lady, so a modern TV wouldn't be right. Thanks, Eliza! I think a large dressing room is required to be able to manoeuvre with the large wedding gowns.
  8. Awesome winter layout. Love the little train!! Great church too, especially the roof and the top half of the bell tower. I just have one suggestion - maybe add another section in the middle of the tower to smooth the transition?
  9. Nice! Great colour scheme and details on the facade, especially the front entrance. Adding the extra row of dark red really makes the second floor stand out in its own right. Looking forward to seeing an interior!
  10. The Town Index is a good starting point. SwissBrick's is one of my favourites.
  11. And there I was thinking it was my favourite because of my sweet tooth!
  12. This is great! I imagine the water would have required a lot of patience.
  13. Very nice!! My favourite is the sweets stall and I also like how you did the lamp posts.
  14. This is great, especially the scales and drawers! I would like to see a little more height though.
  15. Thanks Gongoro73, kevin8, Hobbythom and CityBuilder! Thanks finnbricker! I haven't done the plans for this one yet, but judging by the weight, my guess would be around 3,500 pieces. It's definitely one of the heaviest one I've done to date! Thanks Withacee! As I said before, "baby steps" as far as the asymmetry goes. Thanks! There's been a few suggestions along those lines and, if I were to start over, I think it would be just the store with a floor for bridesmaids' dresses, one for the wedding goes and the workshop for the designer and seamstresses on the top floor.
  16. Thanks, everyone, for the nice comments! It really means a lot to me. Thanks, LegoDr! Borrow away, I say. Thanks. Baby steps on the asymmetry though ... I did use different types of flowers! Thanks. You're right about the back being a little bland, and I did consider having a plant up the wall but decided against it giving the number of plants on the front. However, a light fitting would in itself make a big difference. Thanks! Stairs can be difficult because they tend to take up a fair bit of space. There's been a few times that I've been tempted to leave them out! Thanks, LT! And no, I'm quite the opposite actually. At the risk of alienating most of the female population, I think wedding dresses are a waste of money. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a beautiful dress. Thanks Jonathan! Great to see Brick Town Talk is back, too. Thanks! I've been collecting images of Parisian buildings, so I think that the inspiration for the roof . A hausmann is on the list of "want to do one day". Thanks, Captain! I think one leads to the other, doesn't it?
  17. Beautiful!! Great details all round, but my favourites are the white frames around the window, the awning over the verandah and the white framing inside the roof bit (above the clock).
  18. I would like to present my newest modular building, the Beloved Belle, which is named after the wedding dress shop on the ground floor. There are also two fully furnished apartments that are accessed via the rear of the building. The building was inspired by the balconies of beautiful Bilbao, Spain, but I think the overall look ended up quite different. A closer look at the shop front: The back: The wedding dress shop: First floor apartment: (The box thingie with an antenna is meant to be an old-fashioned TV) Second floor apartment: The attic, which hasn't been opened in a while: This building is my first corner building. It is also the first one where the features (i.e. windows) are not symmetrical, which took quite a bit of internal struggle before I was able to cope with it!! More images on flickr. C&C welcome!
  19. This is great! I like the way that the upper windows have been framed and also how the tiles draw the eye to the entrance, but my favourite detail is the interior display with the surfer.
  20. Thanks CopMike for organising this again! Here's mine:
  21. My first reaction to this new modular was that it was going to take a little bit of time to grow on me, but having seen these high resolution images has sealed it for me - love it!!
  22. Nice! I particularly like the roof and the plater box on the left one.
  23. Nice! There's some heat details on the facade, especially the trim around the first floor windows and how the ground floor windows have been done. The guitar is fantastic!!
  24. This is fantastic! Love the overall realism created by all the small details.
  25. Love those stain glass windows. I managed to miss a few, but it was well worth catching up!
