  1. I don't think our new owner will like this one.
  2. Couple of things that spring to mind: Bakery Butcher Clothing Store Offices
  3. These are great! Love the Forest Elf.
  4. Looks great so far! I love the railings on the balcony, but the white wall looks a bit stark. Maybe have some plants growing up the wall? I'm not sure I'd be keen to buy my bakery items from Krusty!
  5. Awesome review Redhead! Very comprehensive!
  6. Nice scene, with great details, especially the A/C and microscopes.
  7. Thanks AirborneAFOL, eliza and Bennemans!
  8. Love the atmosphere created by this scene. Well done!
  9. This is great! Love the entrance, the SNOT work on the upper floor and the drawer units. The lime is a bit much!
  10. Wow! Instantly recognisable as one of yours with its exceptional art deco styling and stunning interior! My favourite details are the front entrance for its seamless angles and the booths, especially the tables.
  11. This is great! My favourite details are the different textures in the facade, the black awning on the coffee shop and the coffee shop counter. Looks great next to the DO too!
  12. Thanks Wookie. A round tile tile might work ... hadn't really thought of it as a hole until now though! Thanks kevin8! No interiors, and no plans to do so either.
  13. Fantastic! Love the shag pile rug and vacuum cleaner.
  14. Thanks Withacee. I purposely kept the parts requirements simple, so that it would be able to be built in as many colours as possible. And yes, it did bug me that the door knobs weren't consistent! I was tempted to go with different parts, but consistency in part won over consistency in colour. Thanks blksuperman2. The instructions will be up on my blog this weekend (to download for free). Thanks Andy! I'm glad you like it. Thanks Redhead! I would also love to see this done with all the possible colours. Hopefully someone else with a few more bricks can take the time to do a full rainbow. There's no depth at all to the ones I built. I barely had enough in these colours (other than Bright Pink) to do the fronts! If you look closely at the Medium Lavender one, you'll see the top few rows are done with plates!!
  15. Thanks DD840, wooootles, Zblj, LittleJohn and Captain Braunsfeld! Thanks, LT. No interiors, and no plans to do so. This was more a showcasing of the colours than the design per se, although the building started with the door design (which had been sitting by itself in WIP for a long time). Thanks peedeejay and seba123! They are very similar styles, but I think the colours would probably clash. Also, no sides or backs - I had barely enough bricks (other than Bright Pink) to do the front facades!! Thanks Gazumpty! I don't know about genius, but I'm glad you like it! Thanks laka. Hopefully the gardens look exactly the same!
  16. A row of townhouses in colours that are good enough to eat. I originally built one of these in Dark Orange, but couldn't resist using these delicious colours for the final street!
  17. Here is the original topic for the Museum of Natural History. Edit: Instructions are no longer available.
  18. Here's my view as a seller of instructions for custom models: I have no problem with someone wanting to sell a completed physical copy of one of my designs, provided they acknowledge me as the designer. As courtesy, I would like to be notified that it is being listed for sale. I do have problem with someone suggesting it is their design (wether explicitly, or by omission of an acknowledgement) I do have a problem with someone selling instructions for one of my models, whether by themselves or as part of a pack that includes the parts to build the model. I put "Not for resale" on my instructions. I haven't gotten a legal opinion on that (I do note though that you cannot on-sell books you buy on the iBook store, at least not in Australia), and must admit that I am not particularly interested in this becoming a legal debate. My views are based on what I think is ethical.
  19. Both of these are gorgeous!! My favourite facade is that of the bakery, but it's the interior of the fish monger that steals the show for me. Well done!
  20. Looks great and the movement is really smooth! It does seem a little fast though!
  21. This is really beautiful, inside and out. The racing car bed is perfect!
  22. Really nice! Fits in well with the official modulars.
  23. Nice MOD! I agree that it has a slightly sinister feel to it, and would fit in perfectly in a scary movie!
  24. Looks great so far! Love the combination of spaces that you have created. I'm looking forward to seeing the interior!
  25. Nice! I would actually like to see this with the back windows on the front of the buildings. I think the yellow flowers would work nicely with the yellow in the awning.
