  1. Maybe if you simply posed the head differently?
  2. Yeah, I've got no idea how to fill in the wings better than this, so I had to go with this. And I'm planning to rework the aesthetic of the build later. First I want to make sure the structure can support that much weight.
  3. The movie sounds like an instant classic. Much, much better than the Clutch Powers one.
  4. And, now that I got my order, it's time for an update: Here's one of the wings, with a generic build for scale. A closer look at the wings substructure. And the main body is almost finished as well.
  5. Behold: my utterly failed attempt of adding the word "Chima-related" into a MOC. Oh well, it's ridiculous and it's action-figure scale. Anyway, it's basically a giant sawblade. Any questions ?
  6. I can definitely see why this is a heavy mech (imagine what it would be like if this was the light version!). It has a good tesla-coil weapon design, a sort of machine gun arm weapon and an interesting leg design.
  7. The "cracked" effect on the street looks absolutely great.
  8. Awesome, but the cockpit seems kind of small compared to the rest of the body. At least, if you want the proportions to be similar to that of a real orca.
  9. Purple awesomeness. And I see you've got the eye problem sorted out. Also, did I mention it's awesome ?
  10. The colors and idea are very near perfect; the problems this MOC has are simply the color of the brain (the one from Scarox or the one from Ogrum might work better) and how the lack of texture on the torso contrasts the detailed hero core.
  11. This is a very good MOC; it's well-armored, the colors nicely balanced and original and it features some cool ideas for the weapons. Using a "Breeze katana" with one of Rocka's swords works very well; I might try that. The spiked armor could also work to cover the gap between the two armor plates on the lower legs, btw.
  12. The pictures could use some work, but the MOC itself has only one fault: the neck seems much too long.
  13. . Without a doubt, the silliest contribution to this month.
  14. I like it. The half-mutated look works quite well, although the tail of the brain slug might look better if it was connected to one of the uninfected exo-force arms.
  15. I like it. And now I'm glad that I decided not to enter this category.
  16. I've decided to enter the "Before and After" category. I've already got the "Before" creature done.
  17. They're slightly translucent; kind of an opaque tr. red.
  18. Amazing Chi Spider. The weapons and equipment you guys have made is pretty good too.
  19. I think you've got the original beat. This seems far more impressive somehow.
  20. The color balance is great, just like the heavily armored look the back armor gives him.
  21. So this means I'm going to have to abandon my plans to enter the contest. Without a doubt, though, this is a great MOC.
  22. Pretty nice. The chima wings seem a little out of place; bat-like wings mixed with the slightly feathery texture looks kind of strange. Maybe blades would work better?
  23. Okay, so it goes from an adorable bug-eyed creature to some sort of fusion of a raptor and pure evil ? Seems pretty awesome to me, anyway. And definitely not something you'd want to meet in a dark alley. Or a bright one, for that matter
  24. It's a bit better. Not the best, but still a pretty good improvement
  25. And my Brain for the Hero or Monster contest is confirmed...to be released in July. Now that's got to be the silliest oversight I've made in quite a while.
