I think your MOC may look better than the official set. Also, potato quality is the best spell check error ever.

Here's what I think Ultimate Ava might look like, if we get her: Purple cowl/hoodie. This would have to be a new mold, to accommodate a tr. purple HUD screen piece. Purple cape and armor. Purple staff, with tr. purple crystal piece of some kind. New tablet mold, slightly larger than a 3x2 to allow a shield inlay to fit. EDIT: I think you'll like this, x105black. Rather than limiting myself to just dragons, I'm thinking of going through the entire standard loadout of medieval bestiaries, making a griffon for Clay (sorry if you wanted an alce ) and a cockatrice for Robin (and, since you like old-fashioned stuff, I'm going to be incorporating something very old into its design) amongst other things.

That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that Bionicle's building style, is highly disjointed, impractical and generally not fun to build with. It's all overly complicated pointless detailing and very few parts that help make the creation coherent. I felt that way with G1 and G2 seems to be the same overlayed onto CCBS, which, while alleviating some of the problems, doesn't fix them. And for those who don't get why overly complicated is a problem, you know why cartoonists generally go for more abstracted character designs? It's because they are easier on the eyes, and allow for whatever truly unique design elements they have to stand out rather than getting lost in the general miasma.

Got to disagree on that one. Bionicle has personality, but that's in the sense that a chokingly dust-filled room has personality. And what's worse is that they decided to reuse that personality for G2. Still, all this doomsaying is absolutely ridiculous. Even if Bionicle ends in 2017, it'll have gotten the same pre-planned run as is generally given to LEGO's big bang themes. Moreover, what with SW constraction being as popular as it is, Bionicle ending just means it'll be replaced with something better.

As far as I know, the whole robo-dragon discussion started simply because I said I was making a MOC.
-
Hopefully, it includes Whiparella and maybe a few Spider Globlins.
-
According to Bzpower, the exclusive is the Black Knight's mech. Didn't see that one coming.

Star Wars Constraction - Character Wishlists

Or it's keeper. -
For 2017, I'm hoping we get a tr. purple Ultimate version of Ava, possibly with a new mold for the tablet rather than a shield. And hopefully we'll get the Knights' emblems as inlays then too.

Lego Nexo Knights TV Series Discussion

Still haven't found anything about that, but the app does have some videos, which have an unfortunate tendency to stop randomly but do show an in-show Bloblin and a lot of backstory. -

The Rancor would be easy to translate into CCBS form and a great set as well. -
Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion

It looks weirdly cute to me. But then again, I'm having that reaction to pretty much every monster these days. -
All scorpions have eight legs. The claws are derived from pedipalps, which, in spiders, are the little boxing glove-like things under a male's face,

I just downloaded the app. It's really nice, all things considered. Aaron is a little difficult to use effectively though, since the attack system isn't really made for ranged weaponry.
-
Very nice. I like the way you did the eyes and chelicerae, which is always the hardest part with scorpion MOCs. Are you going to try and make an 8-legged version?

Where are you guys seeing the backs of these sets? Also, I still want to know why someone thought it was a good idea to give the mutated Mask of Control tr. neon green clown hair.

I think that the lantern might be what recreates the villains, and what at the end of the season will be used to bring Garmadon back to life, since the amount of people who stay dead permanently in Ninjago can be counted on one hand.

On action figures, though?

Their color schemes are very creative and beautiful, Lava beast's tr. smoke and cliched red/orange and black aside.

Lloyd's dragon has green bull's horns near it's snout to form a sort of weird pseudo-beard. Also, what are those big black pieces on the side of the chest? Are those bigfig arms?

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

That, and it's probably context-sensitive, possibly including feedback from heat sensors and the like in the chair to gauge what sort of punishment would fit Chen's mood the best. And didn't it have a ridiculous amount of buttons anyway?- 4,591 replies

Personally, I wish the designers understood that tr. smoke generally only looks good when used for exactly that: smoke. Plus, if a technic function starts to look as messy as it does on Quake Beast, that means you should just scrap it and either come up with a simpler function or scrap it entirely, possibly incorporating the idea into another set where it might work better and not stand out as much. In science, groups of species are generally defined in terms of one species and its descendants, to keep things consistent. This, among other things, means that any reasonable definition of reptile has to include birds, and any reasonable definition of fish has to include humans.

The little evil buisnessman nixel is cute. I also love how many rare parts they've included in this series. Those horns in the sensei's beard are relatively uncommon, amongst other things. Plus, orange gold bars work remarkably well for segmentation.

Considering that birds are just a small group of raptors, it's more like saying that rodents aren't mammals. Your average pigeon is closer to Velociraptors in terms of skeletal anatomy, in terms of physical size and phylogenetically than Velociraptors are to Diplodocus. Anyway, my point was more that they'd need to use more than just dinosaurs if they wanted to give Lewa an extinct creature as a flying mount. Personally, I'd give him an Azhdarchid. Azhdarchids are pterosaurs (closely related to dinosaurs) and ridiculously intimidating, with a skull twice the size of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and with a diet that probably included T. Rex hatchlings. Think giant quadrupedal death stork with an ironic diet.
