  1. Not any that are too useful for figuring out which sets are which if you're new to them. Generally though, older bionicle sets have far more detailing on them, while parts from the post-2011 CCBS (Creature and Character Building System) are pretty much as smooth as normal bricks.
  2. Your software is great. Just a quick question, what format should custom decorations be for them to be read? I keep getting "ERROR TEX: Can't read input file!"
  3. If any of the parts are from figures made after 2011, they're generally quite compatible with more normal LEGO, though, so what I'd recommend is to see whether those parts are from after 2011 using bricklink, selling any from before then and selling the heads of figures from after that time, since those are pretty much non-compatible with normal LEGO building and are often the most expensive parts of a figure anyway.
  4. For bonus timey-wimeyness, you could even claim that the fragment cast into the future stopped existing at the moment the MoUP was shattered.
  5. Sorry, I forgot. Anyway, there are enough creatures with completely toa-like heads that are called rahi officially that it's pretty much up to you what you call your creation.
  6. That, and if you don't think you can build a non-humanoid head out of toa head parts (which isn't true anyway, since at the very least a normal head piece can be used to make a monkey-like creature) there's always LDD. And anyway, if you want to contribute to this, you shouldn't be looking at the first description, just the most recent one.
  7. To be honest, "Voporak did it" is pretty much the only way I'd like a G1-G2 connection. So now my headcanon is "G2 happened because Voporak got hungry". Also, I don't think it's too strange to imagine that, when the MoUP, which was forged similarly to the original Vahi (six elemental powers vs all six main elemental powers in the form of discs), is eventually purified, it becomes the mask of time and travels back to the origin of the G2 universe, making it older than the universe by virtue of stable time loop.
  8. Very nice! So far, my favorites are CM4Sci's, the Micro Classics and now these toilet micros.
  9. That's okay. I've figured out a workaround which looks better and fits into the theme.
  10. Like I suspected, I like the vehicle mode a lot more. I doubt the ricochet function will work as intended, though.
  11. So no writing the name of the set next to it (even catalog-style, in a white bubble that's positioned away from the actual render)? That's a shame. That makes it a little more difficult for people to identify which set is which in a picture with more than two sets in it.
  12. My opinion is simply "if it's plausible for it to be positioned like that during play, it's okay". So models that could be held above vertical zero by a child would be acceptable, but something that's clearly intended to be standing on its own but isn't supported wouldn't be.
  13. Having finally gotten around to watching Journey to One, it's animation is really hitting an uncanny valley effect, since it looks like a far smoother, less janky version of that from the Voya Nui Online Game in zoomed-out shots and a more plasticy version of the Mask of Light movie otherwise.
  14. Having just seen it, I think it looks very well-designed, but not particularly interesting. That tr. neon green Snake Staff though.
  15. Yeah, as far as I can tell, the rules about box art are pretty much just "don't add extra visual elements like a background with distinct parts or similar into it." So it seems rather strange to prohibit pictures of models posed in ways they would be in real life. I mean, I asked whether photoshopping in an arrow to demonstrate a function was allowed, and apparently it is, so I doubt posing the model normally is disallowed.
  16. I'm using LDD. I think I'm just going to have position the figure using other bricks and leave it unconnected to the handlebars.
  17. Yeah, that's a major problem. I mean, 10 models is like 3-4 sets, which is far too small to give a good idea of what a theme is supposed to look like. I mean, Nexo Knights has like six separate design aesthetics (weapon vehicles, castle vehicles, two different kinds of monsters (black/orange and red/black), the generic brown rock vehicles/monsters and Jestro's split theme). Try fitting all of those in 4 sets, nevermind providing good examples of each while staying within a realistic price range for a set. That's impossible.
  18. Hello. I've repeatedly found the handlebar piece (30031) difficult to work with, and trying it again proved no different. What I'm trying to do is connect a handlebar (at a 45 degree angle) with a horizontal or slightly upwards-facing and otherwise unattached minifigure torso (only connected by its grip on the handlebars). Does anyone know how to do this? I'm using the MINI UPPER PART 2K version of the minifigure torso, if that matters. Here's a quick sketch of what I'm trying to achieve. The minifig torso is blue, the arms are green, the hands are orange and the handlebars are the grey part.
  19. Ditto on all three of those points.
  20. When that was going on at my nearest LEGO store, I ended up making some sort of mantis abomination with two Luke heads as eyes. Also, that Rey monstrosity looks vaguely like someone grafted her head onto a droideka.
  21. Pacific Rim's style is pretty much shiny metal all over the place with tron lines everywhere else. As a result, describing the Ninjago movie as Pacific Rim ala LEGO makes me think of the Nexo Knights app, which is better than what other descriptions have made me think of it.
  22. @Brick-Mark-I: The max part limit is 5000 pieces. So your 9000-piece total set of models would have to be cut in half to fit in that limit.
  23. What top half? Magmar's helmet seems to just be a visor-like piece that attaches to the neck.
  24. I'm guessing maybe a few vehicles based on traditional siege engines, a few more original vehicles, and probably variations on the knights' weaponry, like a whip sword instead of a claymore or something like that.
