  1. Great continued work on this @MP LEGO Technic creations. This is a MOC you can already be proud of, and as you continue to make improvements, I hope you get to a point that you feel great with it. The wires behind the cabin don't bother me. And I agree about the railings. I often leave railings off, as they never looks great to me. I wonder if you can design somethings using various bars and bar connectors, though yellow might be tricky. Something like the railings on this, but scaled way up? I'm very impressed with the details you are adding to this to make sure the beets work through this machine well. All the filled gaps in the hopper from all sorts of different parts takes lot of work; building, testing, taking apart, rebuilding.....It brings me back to the days building my Spitfire. I applaud the determination. This was going through my mind as I was scrolling through, and the little bionical teeth on the unloading conveyor caught my eye. This little part is perfect to keep the conveyor properly placed as it moves, and as the unloader folds and unfolds. It's the perfect part for the spot, and I wonder how many other solutions were tried prior to this part. I'm sure this is one of many little parts were the perfect solution for the mechanics took some time to perfect. Keep up the good work.
  2. Sorry I missed it before, but that forklift is fantastic.
  3. The Flyer was incredible, and this is looks great so far. Are you going to make little suitcases to go in the bottom too?
  4. Yeah, I guess I'm turning into a little bit of an old-timer. Glad you like the quality too. I try to keep as many Rebrickable MOC free as I can. I've received a lot from other builders, so this is my little way to give back. I hope this project turns out well enough.
  5. Yeah, each of the little movements and "switches" are incredible. Very great entry.
  6. I hope I can keep it going in the right direction. Alright, I'm going to keep going as the size is close enough. Yeah it seems depending on tires and fenders, width is from 2200 to 2400 mm, so 15 wide will work for the scale. Plus going down to 13 wide sounds like a mess. It helps to build small. No need to comment on everything though. Yeah, with this project, I have to keep pulling the flip flop beams from other builds. Small update... I rebuilt the chassis again, and the rear PTO works much better. The front mount is now strong enough, and the front frame is fully braced. The rear still needs some work, but the mechanics are placed and working fine. I threw some body and attachments drafts just to see if the chassis hard points will work. Whenever I do these system builds, it helps to keep various components close just to make sure every tweak works with the whole package. You can see a gritter, crane, and plow mount here so far.
  7. I'm about ready to upload my 100th MOC to Rebrickable, and as I thought about how I wanted to celebrate, it became clear to me that the only appropriate celebration would be another Unimog (is this getting old yet?). Someone on youtube asked me to make one using the tires from the 42122 Wrangler/42139 ATV. I was only too happy to oblige. At the start of 2022, my goal was to upload my 100th MOC to Rebrickable by the end of the year, so that's my deadline. Considering all the MOCs made in the scale of the Anthem/Transporter/42128, I wanted to keep it as close to these trucks as I could. The best I can tell, the scale for these trucks is about 1:20 which would put a 3000mm wheelbase with a 2200mm wide U423 at about ~18.5 studs and ~15 studs wide(I'm not doing 14) (check my math @1gor). There was a moment I thought this would fit the scale of all the Thirdwigg Farm vehicles, but that standard seems to be closer to about 1:22. A chassis draft has been started. It was helpful to complete the Knunckbook Truck recently, as some of the build techniques apply here (I might use the crane too). Right now I have the following: Steering RWD with portal axle (sorry @jorgeopesi does the portal axle make up for the lack of four wheel drive this time?) Rear suspension Engine Bed tipper Front PTO Rear/Top PTO with on/off Front/Rear/Bed attachment points I am not sure about the engine right now. I tend to like the old cylinder parts even if they are a funny scale for most builds. But the 2 cylinder looks tiny here, and a 3 cylinder crankshaft messes with the gearbox and steering. I may still try an axle with stop engine yet, which will also help the reliability of the front PTO. I'm building with intent to have some attachments, but I want to get the truck done. So we'll see what things I can add and maintain my focus. More updates soon.....
  8. Yeah, the best I can tell is that Farmall was a big name in the US during the 50s, and then was absorbed by International sometime in the late 50 early 60s. Current WIP is here. The scale looks good for the rest of the tractors, but right now I don't like the steering feel and the where the hood is heading.... I'll figure something out.
  9. Yeah, those little airplane nose wheels work well for Technic casters. I used them for a dumpster in past as well. I'm actually trying to model the tractor after a Farmhall like this; rounded hood and red. I have the rear drive/PTO unit and steering set, but getting the chassis strong enough is the current challenge. The scale I set for the Thirdwigg Farm does not always do me any favors.
  10. I am excited about those new panels. So many fun parts here. I am not excited about the axles in the engine being installed with the stop side on the head side rather than the crank side of the engine. Seems like just a matter of time before my fingers are trying to install a 1/2 bush in the V of the engine because it came off during play. I guess it's a simple fix...
  11. Thanks. Yeah, I tend to publish MOCs after the applicable season has passed... Someday I'll get ahead of things.... Maybe, but the proportions seem a little off to my eye. I guess I like the look with the cab. But the Thirdwigg Farm is fully WiFi, so that wouldn't be a problem. Good idea. I've tinkered with the fingers on a bailer, but I haven't yet cracked it. There is this idea, but it could be a little more smooth, as it bogs the PTO on these tractors. I agree it would be a cool feature, so I'll keep working on it. Thanks again. Yeah, the scale is pretty fun. Yeah, these tires fit well. I actually "discovered" them when I was trying a little John Deere Gator. That still may happen, but not until next year. So far I'm using this for the front. And this for the rear. We'll see how it turns out.... Yeah, my go/no go on this project with having both working features. I tried to do a horizontal engine, but didn't like the look. Thanks for the though, but yeah, that tractor's not mine. I'm still intimidated by making large Alt builds. Maybe someday....
  12. As staffing continues to grow to manage all the tractors on the Thirdwigg Farm, management has decided it might be time to manage some of the grounds were the workers and their families play. Thus, a little mower was purchased to maintain fields, playgrounds, and green spaces. The Zero Turn Mower features a little engine and rotating mower blade. As with all of the Thirdwigg Farm tractors, trailer, implements, and machines, find free instructions may be found at Rebrickable.com. Next up... A vintage Tractor!
  13. Thanks, and I hope you get a chance to build it. I'd love some feedback on the build. Thanks again for the kind words. That's a lot of praise, and helps keep me going on to the next builds. I'm happy you like this, and thanks for noticing the reliability that I prioritize in my builds. I often leave some functions out, because I can't get them to work right every time. This sometimes gets lost in the long list if what is included. In this MOC I tried hard to get front suspension in, but everything else suffered, so I left it out. Thanks again for the accolades.
  14. Thanks, sometimes I go a little overboard on the functionality, but it worked well on this MOC.
  15. Thanks again, and glad to see you building again. Thanks! Yeah, I am loving these wheels. Fair point. Yeah, I only have 4 of those liftarms, and that might be more than most people. Changing them to black will match the 11l fliparm. Same with the lowball mount, it's not great, but it's the best idea I have come up with in this scale. Thanks again. Yes, the sides and the rear open. All three are a little different from previous designs I have had. They each pivot at the top, and lock by connecting to a 1/2 pin with stud on the bed base. They don't open too far, but they open enough to let cargo fall out. I hope you get the chance to build it.
  16. Huzzah! Thanks so much! Glad you like it. Yeah, it's a little basic, but works great. The capacity is not too much, but it works well enough for pictures
  17. After a lot of tractors and construction vehicles, it was time for me to build another truck. This off road truck is based on the Iveco Eurocargo 4x4 with a knuckleboom crane. Full instructions may be found for free at Rebrickable.com. The truck features the following: Rear wheel drive Two speed transmission I3 engine Rear pendular suspension Steering with HOG Dual outriggers Boom slewing Boom lift with HOG Boom section 2 lift Boom extension Three way tipper bed with HOG control Tilting cab Opening doors I had a lot of fun making this MOC, and I hope some of you are able to enjoy recreating it for yourself should you choose. All folded up. And all opened up. The rear tipper bed tips three ways. If for whatever reason you need to Studio file, send me a PM, and I'm happy to share. And a little video if you find it helpful. I hope you enjoy!
  18. Very cool and hypnotic: the perfect GBC. I'm proud of anyone who can make something for this contest. And coming right after your podium for TC22!
  19. Very cool project. I love all these studless rebuilds of older sets, and this is a classic. I look forward to how you are going to do the wings.
  20. I'm happy you were able to get all the parts it yellow. It looks so good, and it just the perfect size for me. Again, well done.
  21. All this make sense. It's a small build, and you have a lot in it already. Great job, and I look forward to seeing it in Yellow.
  22. That's fair. I wondered if maybe you could use the room for something like a HOG link or something. But if it's not limiting your, then keep it in.
  23. Cute little dumper. I like the shaping of the hood and front bumper. I'm with @Jundis, drop the center diff.
  24. Very nice Alt build of 42139.There are a lot of functions that the partlist of 42139 does not make too easy, and you designed this well with those limitations.
