  1. Thanks, yeah the skis were a must. Yellow will be for the tracks, and red for the bumpers. At least that’s the idea right now. We’ll see if it lasts. Me too! We’ll see if it happens.
  2. Well done. This is just the right amount of weird for me. Glad you were able to finish it.
  3. I built this little LMP car over the course of countless video meeting during COVID. After lots little ideas, I spent some time putting it all together into a decent build. I love the late 90's early 2000's LMP cars, so this one was the result of this love. In Octan colors, of course. Instructions are freely available. I have a had time photographing white parts on my white background. I hope you enjoy.
  4. Alright, it's been a busy fall, so a holiday recovery build is just what the doctor ordered. I had lots of ideas for this contest, but since I have about 10 days to finish this, this is the idea that I has the greatest chance of being completed. I settled on something in the theme of the Arctic Technic sets from the 80 for one reason only: The Skis! So naturally, the build needs to have the Technic figs (though I don't have any of the winter ones), and a place to fit some skis and poles. Tracks are a must in my mind for an arctic build, so a little runabout was the final decision. After a little time setting dimensions and fitting mechanism, here is what I got. Front/rear suspension, rear engine, and steering so far. We'll see if I get this done.
  5. I still haven't started. I have time now, so we'll see what I can get done. No secrecy here.
  6. It is still location specific. In the US, we still do not have access to all the parts, particularly the new ones, from 42146.
  7. Manual US buyer here. It's the only reason I have not gotten an EV yet. I would love for a proper manual in the next 1:8 car.
  8. Well done, and I like all the varied body lines you were able to create in this MOC. Great job!
  9. I love all the creative play features of this set. It looks a little wonky to my eyes, but the integration of the controls with the handhold is unique from what we have seen from Technic in the past. I can see this being popular with a new demographic for Technic.
  10. Yeah, I'm liking this set a lot. Thanks for the mocup @R0Sch, this is helpful to better understand the design.
  11. Great addition! The blade is totally unnecessary, and thus perfect!
  12. My favorite alt builds of yours are the animal ones. I'm always impressed (maybe jealous) at your ability to use blocked parts to create organic creatures. Great work again.
  13. Great job again. I love the net in the cockpit, and the arm linkage is well done.
  14. Those space sets are so refreshingly different! Also the Orrery is quintessential technic.
  15. I hope to, but I need to put out some other fires first. Maybe over the holiday break.....
  16. It looks like the 42168 Deere might be in the background of the 60431 photo that is floating around online right now. If so, it looks like the rear tires are 37mm, which would match well enough with the 57mm tractor tire we have had for a while. Not much else is visible other than the rear fender and the unloading auger.
  17. Yeah, the spring didn't fit. I'm glad you like it. @SaperPL Yeah, the little rubber connectors work perfectly sometimes, but only in a very specific way. I hope you are able to give them a try.
  18. Such a fun project. Keep it up...
  19. Thanks for the comment. It is not an alt model, it's stand along. The hope was for the scale to be the same, but adding features stretched it to 1:21. Generally, it's because I don't add the links, and have to add them later. You tend to find the error before I get to it.
  20. OK, time for another little addition to the Thirdwigg Farm (kindof). This little John Deere Gator is built in 1:21 scale, which is a little bigger then the Thirdwigg Farm scale (about 1:22). Instructions are available at Rebrickable.com. Features: Steering with HOG Rear suspension 1 cylinder fake engine Tipping bed Opening tailgate Opening doors I love the LEGO green, so John Deere tractors are becoming a trend for me. Tipping bed. Opening doors And a little 40 second video to see what it does. Enjoy again!
  21. It's great to have you back @legomarat, and such a wonderful build for your return. I love the shaping of the body with the system bricks, and all the little details like the mirrors and light. Great job with the functionality as well.
  22. I would like to join. I'll see when I can get a build started. I love the cabin!
  23. Cool build so far. It reminds me a little of McLeach's truck from the the Rescuers Down Under. I like the oversized plow so far as well. Keep it up....
