  1. Yeah, I'm liking this set a lot. Thanks for the mocup @R0Sch, this is helpful to better understand the design.
  2. Great addition! The blade is totally unnecessary, and thus perfect!
  3. My favorite alt builds of yours are the animal ones. I'm always impressed (maybe jealous) at your ability to use blocked parts to create organic creatures. Great work again.
  4. Great job again. I love the net in the cockpit, and the arm linkage is well done.
  5. Those space sets are so refreshingly different! Also the Orrery is quintessential technic.
  6. I hope to, but I need to put out some other fires first. Maybe over the holiday break.....
  7. It looks like the 42168 Deere might be in the background of the 60431 photo that is floating around online right now. If so, it looks like the rear tires are 37mm, which would match well enough with the 57mm tractor tire we have had for a while. Not much else is visible other than the rear fender and the unloading auger.
  8. Yeah, the spring didn't fit. I'm glad you like it. @SaperPL Yeah, the little rubber connectors work perfectly sometimes, but only in a very specific way. I hope you are able to give them a try.
  9. Such a fun project. Keep it up...
  10. Thanks for the comment. It is not an alt model, it's stand along. The hope was for the scale to be the same, but adding features stretched it to 1:21. Generally, it's because I don't add the links, and have to add them later. You tend to find the error before I get to it.
  11. OK, time for another little addition to the Thirdwigg Farm (kindof). This little John Deere Gator is built in 1:21 scale, which is a little bigger then the Thirdwigg Farm scale (about 1:22). Instructions are available at Rebrickable.com. Features: Steering with HOG Rear suspension 1 cylinder fake engine Tipping bed Opening tailgate Opening doors I love the LEGO green, so John Deere tractors are becoming a trend for me. Tipping bed. Opening doors And a little 40 second video to see what it does. Enjoy again!
  12. It's great to have you back @legomarat, and such a wonderful build for your return. I love the shaping of the body with the system bricks, and all the little details like the mirrors and light. Great job with the functionality as well.
  13. I would like to join. I'll see when I can get a build started. I love the cabin!
  14. Cool build so far. It reminds me a little of McLeach's truck from the the Rescuers Down Under. I like the oversized plow so far as well. Keep it up....
  15. Thanks again @Philo. These part parts have helped me out more than once. I appreciate the time you put into them.
  16. You need something to cover all you LBG parts! 😂
  17. Great job on this! It keeps getting better. I cannot tell from the photos, are the seats rotationally fixed, or can they fold down?
  18. OK, my building is going slowly these days, but it has been a good break from other responsibilities to tinker for a little bit. I think the chassis is about done. I may need to make some adjustments for how the cabs mount, but this should be pretty close. It is unclear to me if the cab tilts on the U5000, which would require some changes to the chassis. I cannot seem to find any information to confirm this one way or the other as I can with the U400/500 series. Anyone know? All the functions work, and I'm pleased with the look. I am not sure I like the wheel hubs yet, but I can make some changes to this easily. I started the studio file now as I have enough to start this part of the process. Generally, I build quicker than I work in studio, so I shouldn't get stuck with a part than ends up changing in the physical build.
  19. Great job. I love the framing of the front grill with the light bluish grey panel parts.
  20. Great job, and I'm happy you were able to finish it!
  21. Thanks for the highlight @ralphie and I'm glad that you like the build. I like the modifications you have made. I hope it makes the playability a little better. Thanks for sharing!
  22. Some of the farmers have requested a little UTV, so a Gator is inbound. Steering, RWD with engine, and bed tip so far. Some work is needed for the styling, but the idea will work.
  23. I'm excited too! Just a little update. I added an exhaust can to actuate the bed tipper on the left of the truck. I reworked the colors, and now have this. Above you can generally see where everything fits. Then I worked on the cab of the truck a little bit as well. I'll need to work on the positioning of the grill, but the idea will work ok I think. I'm still trying to determine if I can/should get the cab to tilt. A little camper draft was started as well. Maybe I will move forward with this idea too. The chassis is at draft number two, so I'll need to do another one before I call the chassis final. I am having some difficulty with the rear winch HOG/lock and its fit with the fuel tank and right front bed attachment point. I cannot finalized the chassis until this section is finished. I'll work on it some more to see what can happen, but I'll set this aside for a little bit as I'll be out of town for a couple of days. Transmission work well, as does the front winch and lock. Bed tipper is fine.
