  1. So if a brick was used upside-down but the studs were still visible, that would also be a SNOT?
  2. And what is the appropriate context to use the acronym "SNOT", Mr Tiber?
  3. Mr Morse these are looking good however do you think you could resize an image or two down to post in the thread? This makes the images more accessible to the users and therefore usually increases the number of responses in your thread. May I recommend the How to perform a batch image resize tutorial thread if you're not familiar with image resizing.
  4. Mr Norrington you're still not checking your posts for spelling errors before sending them. I recommend you you acquire FireFox 2 as it has a spell checker that will alert you to your spelling errors. As for The Brickster's 3rd MOC... Its very "rectangular" isn't it? The brown snots for the decking work well enough but I can't help but think it would be better if the deck was extended further towards the front of the Pirate Prison. Of course piece limitation may impede this option.
  5. I shall remind everyone that Mr Tole has not posted an update in this thread since June 22 2006 so you may not want to get too excited as this may indicate he hasn't worked on the game since. In fact, maybe someone should contact and ask him if he's made any progress.
  6. No, Broadside is not an admiral just because he wears the blue equivalent of the Admiral Woodhouse torso design. In the official LEGO canon the character is called Governor Broadside, furthermore a governor is political figure, an admiral is the leader of a navy. They are definitely not the same thing nor interchangable. While it may be obvious to those who are familiar with the pirate theme, it may confuse those who aren't. We don't need to handicap them do we? If the question was "What was the name of the Imperial Soldier leader" there wouldn't be a problem.
  7. Mr Tiber? Never heard of him...
  8. Its not because you've disagreed, its the way you've disagreed that would get you banned. Many of your objection posts are piratically spam. You should have sent me a PM rather than taking the thread off topic. The above is not acceptable, especially since you're using "bastard" in a defamatory context. If you have any further concerns then PM me, do NOT post them in the thread.
  9. Then you might have to do the test again because you can't test someone if one of the questions is misleaing. Its not very fair on those who do know the answer.
  10. I've already commented on this issue so now I'm going to remind everyone of the terms and conditions they agree to when registering to Eurobricks. The final paragraph of the terms and conditions read: You agree that you are over 18 years old. If not, DON'T register, as this board is oriented for a mature audience and contains subjects that could hurt the sensibility of the youngest. If you register and you are under the 18 age, which is the legal age for being an adult in Europe, this is your responsability. Again, you are not supposed to do so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Penis is not derogatory or vulgar term, if a more offensive term was used then it would have been edited. It is very immature to make a fuss over a word like penis and if the other administrators saw this thread first they'd probably ban you. In fact a user was recently banned because it was discovered he was 10 years old and he didn't even do anything wrong. So making a fuss like this would not go down well with the other administrators because people over 18 do not usually react to words with this way. So once again if the word offends you then boycott this thread, but if you're going to be childish then I recommend you post at the message boards at LEGO.com.
  11. Indians were indeed interested in gold, but not for monetary purposes as they offered it to their gods and decorated their leaders with it. Ever seen this artifact before?
  12. Norrington have you fixed the errors in your test yet? |-/
  13. Citations are very important, however I meant a reference citation (I.e. the name of the book, page number, author, etc.) not citing the remaining paragraph.
  14. As you're probably aware MOC stands for My Own Creaton and that acronym isn't limited to just LEGO. So you know this is a birthday cake just because your mum did a similar thing for your 8th birthday? Ahhhh ok then... What if the cake was part of Talk Like A Pirate Day celebrations? :-P
  15. Could you provide a better citation than "blablabla" Mr Tiber?
  16. Nobody said anything about birthdays Mr Norrington. Would you like a cake like that?
  17. What do you mean by your last post Island Boy? It doesn't quite make sense, I think you're missing a word.
  18. I accidentally stumbled across this on Maj.com View Maj Gallery
  19. A poll has been added...
  20. Would you like a poll to at the top of this thread?
  21. We're nice to all newcomers so long as they behave. But if you're going to introduce Island Boy you should do it a new thread and not in an Islander MOC thread.
  22. I think you're new design is a vast improvement because the Sienna no longer looks short and fat, rather it looks powerful and ready to take on the high seas.
  23. Whats a Kirby?
  24. There are a few specialised pieces which I don't have enough to make two. These include plates with one curved corner and that white railing at the front.
  25. I feel compelled to do a comparison so we can better observe the differences...
