Mr Tiber you're on fire these days! You're absolutely right, "plague" is the correct spelling. Not even I picked up on that.

An official SYSTEM Pirate LEGO Jumper/Sweater

Actually, the week before Christmas I paid all the eBay sellers I was indebted to and there's about A$300/US$230/172 -
No continue your Wild West MOCing, you seem to be doing an excellent job with those and if that's where your motivation is then make the most of it. But the good news is I've finally got a freakin awesome Digital SRL Camera so you'll be seeing some Islander MOCs out of me soon. As soon as my eBay orders arrive...

An official SYSTEM Pirate LEGO Jumper/Sweater

Yes, its miraculous how I took pictures of myself while becoming 20 years younger... |-/ -
I win? I meant for a Pirate Moderator to do it, but you can do it if you like...

The reason your quotes weren't working is because you had an unclosed quote tag amongst your text, so the parsers couldn't determine where the quotes were supposed to be (its stupid you see). But fear not I have fixed it! Now it would be nice if there was a Pirate Moderator who could get the names of the Brickshelf folders each ship is located in and apply that name to the links in Mr Oo7's first post, rather than having the URL to the Brickshelf folder as the name of the link. Because right now I really can't be bothered doing it... X-D

Greetings laddies! A while back I won the above jumper/sweater off eBay but as I didn't like the quality of images my digital camera of that time produced I decided to refrain from taking any pictures of it. That has changed however! Today I went and bought a Canon EOS 400D (aka Rebel XTi in Northern America) so to test it out I decided to take pictures of the jumper. So far I've only read the first 35 pages of the 170 page manual but that was enough to get the camera up and running ready to take a few images using the automatic and default settings. As yet I have no idea how to use custom settings but there's so many of them its going to take me over 6 months to learn them all. So because of this the images aren't s good as they could be if I knew what I was doing, but they're not too bad. I'm also not using a tripod and the lighting inside is rather dim. Modeling this wonderful garment for us is Mr Thing. All small images are clickable thumbnail links to larger images When I first saw this jumper/sweater on eBay I thought it must have been something a granny knitted, but it appears its 100% official - unless someone has gone to great lengths to make it look authentic. But why would anyone bother? The official LEGO Logo on the back... But what I don't get is if this IS an official garment, why is the text "Cap'n Roger" on the front when the mini-figure depicted looks more like Captain Ironhook? Hmmmmm? :-/

Awwwwwwww... Mr Oo7! Now you've really gone and done it. This thread was the straw that broke the camel's back and now I'm well and truly bored of Brickshelf ships. :-D But on a more serious note good work finding all these MOCs! Do we know [m]any of the builders?
-
Well lets see some of these Moai MOCs you've made laddie! :-D
-
They'll need transparent backgrounds but its a good start. At the moment they look a little too like curved arrows but a little tweaking should get that sorted out. I think they need a bigger base I.e. the cup that fits onto the wrist. But I think we could use these once everyone is happy with them.

I'm perfectly aware there's no obligation. I do it only because I want to. :-D

Why did you call this ship "My Red Plauge" Mr oDDerFisken? That name doesn't sound too healthy for those on board.
-
I know of a place with price even worse LEGO prices than Canada, unfortunately I also happen to live there...
-
That's actually a reasonable theory Mr Oo7. However, it does pose a slight anachronism as back in the 17th century New York was no more than a few Dutch trading posts along the Hudson river, so therefore its current "fast paced" image did not exist yet.

Errrrrr... I seem to have a case of the afternoonies ol cobbers....
-
But the time he does that it'll probably be moderated, although that goes out the window if he uploads something new. So Mr Tiber has quite a good suggestion there!

Definitely an improvement over last years Castle offering, but still not quite there yet. The castle looks good but the main tower is a little disappointing because it looks like an after thought - like someone had a spare turret so they just tacked it on. It appears the castle has been constructed of quite large pieces however given its size it can get away with them.
-
Damn! The folder is not yet public. Are you going to resize the pictures later Mr oDDerFisken?
-
Thanks for the reframe Brickster, I can now fully appreciate this MOC!
-
I don't like the horizontal use of the wooden walls because it reminds me of corrugated iron or a garage door.
-
Why the "New Yorker" though?
-
Actually a game called Commando on Miniclip.com seems closer to Metal Slug.
-
The Metal Slug series is my favourite platform game! Well 1 to 3 are, 4 and 5 we're quite up to standards.
-
Welcome aboard Mr Xyston! You've created quite a colourful ship and I think it actually works which is quite a feat when alternating between so many bright colours. The top of this thread definitely needs a picture of the ship...
