  1. I thought the Imperial Flagship was the only ship they produced that actually had a sail configuration close to what existed in history - unless you count the dingies with sails. That aside Mr Willems has done a good job here, I notice there's more than just an extra midsection and a modified Captain's cabin... It appears the Captain (or highest ranking mini-figure) has a cape, a dingy has been placed on the deck (very useful for getting to shore when there's no port), a windlass (good for getting cargo onto the dock) and a railing above the entrance to the Captain's cabin (prevents the lads from falling off during high seas). So I agree with Mr Tiber, that's enough modifications to make this an entirely different creation to the Imperial Flagship.
  2. Obviously the MOC featured in this thread isn't being ignored! X-D
  3. Mr Phred, what have you used to hold the cannon together? Do bands like those come in any particular LEGO sets?
  4. The Pirate Forum situation is about to be addressed very soon.
  5. Well you deserve it!
  6. Greeting Pawel!
  7. Ahhhhhhh now I get you! You're going to have quite a "tall ship" there!
  8. Now I get what you mean! Yes, you're correct. But its beyond me why the Imperial Trading Post would be called Port Fenzance. I know in the UK and Australia it was called Port Royale but never I have seen it called "Port Fenzance"
  9. That's quite a contraption! Looks good from the front But a bit too "technological" from the front, well "technological" in comparison to the triple cannons seen in Dead Man's Chest.
  10. I checked the Arbiter II thread but I couldn't work exactly out which image you meant. Was it this one?
  11. And I also recommend you size down one or two of your images so you can post them at the top of thread... What I do is have one large image then clickable 3-4 thumbnails underneath.
  12. Another couple of thoughts... What about removing it completely or moving it above the wooden doors? Maybe the area above the doors could be built up even more into a solid tower.
  13. No I mean that I was implying it was a bad picture, not you! Most image editing software package have a "point to point" edit tool with a feathered line. This is what I use to remove the background from my images then I touch it up with the eraser tools. It makes for a much cleaner separation.
  14. So quite possibly this post could have been included in all the large sets which was released in 1996. However, that would limit it to the Armada Flagship and Red Beard Runner since there were no large land based sets released that year.
  15. I only got mine because it was in MISB condition. Its not something I'd buy for parts because it doesn't really have that much to offer.
  16. I meant the hyperlink up in the address bar. Do you know what I mean by that? I will post an image if you do not. I copy and pasted 6277 so it was identical. Mr Norrington, did you successfully find the information that Mr Tordenskjold did?
  17. Ok, I've done some research and here are the Hornblower episodes complete with alternate titles: 1. Hornblower: The Even Chance (1998) 2. Hornblower: The Examination for Lieutenant (1998) aka "Horatio Hornblower: The Fire Ship" - USA 3. Hornblower: The Duchess and the Devil (1999) aka "Horatio Hornblower: The Duchess and the Devil" - USA 4. Hornblower: The Frogs and the Lobsters (1999) (TV) aka "Horatio Hornblower: The Wrong War" - USA 5. Hornblower: Mutiny (2001) aka "Horatio Hornblower: The Mutiny" 6. Hornblower: Retribution (2001) aka "Horatio Hornblower: Retribution" - USA 7. Hornblower: Loyalty (2003) aka "Hornblower and the Hotspur" - USA (working title) 8. Hornblower: Duty (2003)
  18. That's interesting, when I type in "6277" I get the following message: We did not find results for: 6277Try the suggestions below or type a new query. Is it possible you could do a search then copy & paste the link of the search results?
  19. I'll move it after Mr Willems reads the thread so he knows what's going on, that way he won't be confused when he can't find the thread.
  20. What about The Entrance To The Caves?
  21. You're absolutely right Imperial Scouts! I overlooked that fact, probably because I just clicked on the "Last Post" link while browsing the Board Index.
  22. Isn't there 8 Hornblower Episodes now? If I recall correctly 6 were made then after a delay there were another 2 DVDs under the title of "The New Adventures"
  23. Your new tower looks very good indeed but may I recommend that you resize one or two of the images down to 800x600 pixels so you can post them at the top of the thread? As for thumbnails... FireFox Right click on the thumbnail in the Brickshelf folder and select "Copy Image Location" Internet Explorer 6 Right click on the thumbnail in the Brickshelf folder and select "Properties" From the Address: (URL) highlight the entire link and then copy (CTRL C or Right Click then select "Copy"). E.g. Highlight http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/SimonWillems/Tower/thumb/p1213918.jpg_thumb.jpg Return to Eurobricks Select the image button then paste (CTRL V or right click and "Paste") the Brickshelf URL into the box that pops up. Now return to Brickshelf Click on the thumbnail to load into Brickshelf Preview. Then click on it again to go directly to the file. Highlight the image address in the Address Bar then copy (CTRL C or Right Click then select "Copy"). Return to Eurobricks Highlight the image code you have just inserted and now click the "Insert Link" button then paste in the link you just copied. The URL should wrap around the IMG. Remember to let other users know that the thumbnail is a link otherwise they may overlook it.
  24. *Clap* *Clap* *Clap* Finally something has been done...
  25. There's nothing wrong the picture Imperial Scouts, it serves the purpose well. I was just being a pedantic critic.
