I presume it was included with the Red Beard Runner, just like the Islander poster was included with Enchanted Island. But there's merely a presumption.

Do you happen to know the South African names, Col. Whipstick?
-
It arrived in the mail mid last week, so about 24th of January 2006...

I saw Viking sets in stores like Kmart and Target, and I'm not in Europe...
-
Can't say I've seen any official LEGO catalogue pages that appear like this, although I'd be very excited if I ever did! Not to be overly critical but relating to the main picture; the edges seem to be a bit rough, the image quality is a bit grainy (particularly noticeable at the end closest to the camera), the light reflected from the roofs is somewhat saturated and overall it looks a little out of focus. But who cares, its still a great MOC!

Maybe they have an uneasy alliance, or maybe its a very easy alliance. After all this is a LEGO creation and the unlike history the creator can decide whether the Spanish and British were at peace... Or war. Or quote possible maybe the seller hadn't put any thought into the matter whatsoever.

Will you use a unique design for the sails or will they be Imperial Flagship duplicates? Or is a question like that too far in the future to think about yet?
-
Arrrrghhhhhh! Exciting times lie ahead for you Mr Nuuton! Have you got a close-up picture of the figurehead where the focus is on it? It looks like you've got something interesting going on there.
-
Mr Tordenskjold, have you see the What's in the name... thread? This thread pretty has the same concept as this one, so maybe the two should be merged. However, there is one thing I'd like to clear up first... Where did you get the names for these sets? I'm not sure what you mean by "I was looking around on TLC " - you mean www.lego.com?
-
Come to think of it I have no idea how many troops I have. I have quite a few "spare" blue coats but if I extracted every blue coat mini-figure from all the built sets I possess then it could possibly amount to quite a few. However, it would be a lot of work extracting them all for a photo shoot.
-
I've got one of the episodes (Frogs and Lobsters) but I haven't got round to watching it yet, and I've got three more episodes on their way.
-
But by judging the box art what of quality of this "exact copy" Mr Assamite? Did it look satisfactory or really tacky?
-
Are you going to add sails and riggings too?
-
Silly me! I didn't realise this is a work in progress, so yes you should get the ship finished off before letting the pets aboard or you'll have all kinds of problems... Imagine that monkey running away with the building tools...
-
But grumble grumble! He doesn't have any pictures we can post in our threads because they're too BIIIIIIIIG. So here's a thumbnail...
-
This is quite a good MOC. There's detail too... I'll comment upon this further after some sleep...
-
This looks to be quite a heavy duty ship and its a vast improvement over its predecessor. However, I can't help but notice that the parrot and monkey haven't made it into the new version. Are they alive and well or did they perish?

This is just the picture we need!
