Rumours throughout Corrish New Terra and beyond of a mysterious organisation consisting of some of the richest and most powerful notabilities of Corrington are spreading fast. Not much is known of its purposes and and plans, but hear-say suggests that it is growing more and more influental. Fueling such rumours is the opening of yet another warehouse, this time in King's Harbour on Cocovia. This island is home to some very exotic goods and demand for these in the old world is growing rapidly. Further, the new colonies need manufactured goods and supplies to support their growth and to handle these flows of goods, organisations and infrastructure is rapidly building up. One such is the newly established warehouse in King's Harbour, licensed by the mysterious ETTC. Located on a line of new stone quays inside the cove, it is already bustling with activity, and the store rooms swiftly filling up, creating the need for an extra outhouse for further goods. Barrels of cocoa for the old world, salted pork for the Royal Navy, and gunpowder for its guns are stored and ready for loading onto the next vessel in need. The presence of Ibn al'Sayeed in the upstairs office and store room might suggest Montoyesque involvement in the ETTC. It sure seems like al'Sayeed is the one in charge of this branch, as he conducts all dealings regarding the goods of the warehouse. Further, his crew appears to be handling much of the logistics of the warehouse. Rumours aside, this warehouse is one of the first to open on the harbourfront of King's Harbour, and its imposing facade sets the bar for buildings in this new settlement. The activity is bound to grow over time, and this is surely not the last warehouse to open its doors in New Terra. _________________________ A warehouse for the ETTC, which will be licensed as a medium commerce. C&C welcome.

I seem to struggle each month with figuring out how my accounts are misaligned with those in the sheet. Would it be possible to pull some sort of list of all transactions going in and out of one's account?

Lovely looking schooner, Legostone - This scale is really effective, and one does not immediately notice its "real" size. I like how you experiment with different techniques, especially since you achieve such great results! I think I will have to try out this scale too at some point, especially for larger ships. I like how this scale balances size with the ability to include details. While the bow is a bit blunt, the overall shape of the hull is very nice and looks very modern (as in Napoleonic-era ) with its straight lines - the cabin is very well done, as is the gunports with its protruding guns. The rigging is quite nice too, although I will make a few comments. 1) I would raise the gaffs (top spars) of the two fore-and-aft sails up to the crosstrees and so increase the size of the sails. 2) Further, you could add topsails (square, on yards, or fore-and-aft, above the current sails) for a more complete look. 3) Tautness! Good work! I think this will inspire others to explore different scales!

[ESL FB1] The Stormbringer and "Poseidon’s Turncoat"
Bregir replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
As I have said many times over, it is really great to see these older type vessels in the Brick Seas, and you are probably my favourite supplier of these goodies. The rigging is nice, and I really like the stern cabin and details like the little "lightbox" on the deck. On the downside, this one doesn't quite have the lovely curves of your former ships, and the deck seems a bit unpolished, but it does make it look more utilitarian. I would also suggest raising the spar for the lateen sail almost all the way to the squaresail yardarm and fitting a much larger sail. Generally, though, this is another fabulous vessel from your shipyards. Well done! -
[COR - MRCA] Captured Ship, Don Obello, 5LA
Bregir replied to SilentWolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Beautiful schooner, Silentwolf. Her lines are very pretty, and I like the way you have built her overhanging bow and stern with wedge plates. It almost makes her look like she has a xebec hull. I am absolutely loving those little guns, and is already starting to consider if I have the bricks for such guns myself. The rigging is quite good too, and I am impressed how well these brick built sails work out. However, I would not want to be part of the crew with all that brass to polish! And with such warships in private hands, one wonders what causes they will be fighting for! -

[OL-FB1] The Man from the King's Court- Part 1
Bregir replied to Franco Clarke's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Another lovely story and build, FC! I really like the look of this little lateen rigged vessel. The lines are quite good, as is the sails and colourscheme. My only advice would be to make the lateen even bigger, and perhaps to do something about the decks, which look a bit unpolished and bare currently. Perhaps a small hatch and some tiles? As always, I will be looking forward to the next instalment in the story! -
The Unicorn Hath Been Discovered
Bregir replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice looking house, CB, and a very interesting discovery. Given the rarity of such a find, I am certain the members of the society will examine it with the utmost scrutiny - And should the remains prove real, an expedition must surely be equipped to find a living example. (Although I am told killing one is not advisable...)- 20 replies

Very Sherlock-Holmes-y! I like the deductions made by our good Corlander Scientist, and the vignettes are quite nice too.

I have a feeling I have heard that story before... Great series of builds - all of them are very well done, but being partial to ship-mocs, the gun deck interior is probably my favourite, and the change of clothes is very well done!

[ESL-Ch3A] The Road to Fame and Riches
Bregir replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Both the full view and the painters perspective are looking great. I particularly like the use of microfigs, and that microvessel in the background - they give a very effective forced perspective. The whole idea of "improving" the scene is very cool too. Well done!- 9 replies

Nice looking outpost, CB. The dark red exposed stone is quite effective and I like the walkway up to the tower itself. Great rockwork too. However, as to his plans, I wonder, in this age of fashionable coups, if the colonel is planning to put George on the Eslandian throne? :D

Nice looking cave system, Legostone. While I find it a bit hard (on my phone) to identify the crystal and the fountain, I really like the dramatic look of the minifigure perspective photos. Well done.- 10 replies

Bregir replied to Tezclatipoca's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great vignettes, Faladrin. My favorite is the inverted slopes used for a ship. Would be cool to see a whole ship built that way! Nice story too. I wonder if a treasure hunt will start to find his now probably golden corpse? ;) -

Nice work with limited build time, Kaiju. I really like the dramatic effects of the builds, coupled with the drama of the story. That hand is very cool! In fact, I sort of hope to see you try out these darker themes on a larger scale at some point! :)- 12 replies

Great looking ship-sloop, Puvel. I am really happy to see the result of the added mast - it looks much more balanced this way. I am starting to take to these brick built sails, but it does make it hard to make a spanker sail and headsails. Including those would make the rigging even better. The hull is absolutely fantastic. I like the bow with the slop up to the forecastle and maindeck, and the raised quarterdeck is very well done. It all looks very balanced, and the sides with the guns sticking out are well done, as is the very corlandish colourscheme. I would love to see some more different angles to see the stern and bow better, for instance. Beautiful addition to our fleets, Puvel.

To normalise things, and allow holiday-impaired participants to catch up, I suggest setting the next MRCA deadline at the end of August. All deadlines for freebuilds, property incomes, etc. are maintained. Thoughts?
