I tried to build the new Space Police Rapid Responder (Club Code: SPACE), and this connection... ...seems impossible in LDD... ...but becomes very possible with a bunch of 1x1 round plates. Here is the LXF file, with a few slight differences from the instructions (no stickers, added minifig and control panel). -Toa Of Justice

LDD Manager says that part is not in LDD. Sorry. This piece, which is in LDD, looks very similar to me though. -Toa Of Justice

According to the BrickLink inventory and LDD Manager, the proper wheels don't exist in LDD. Sorry. Otherwise, I believe most of the pieces exist. Anyway, I have another entry for the index. LEGO TECHNIC 8208 Custom Cruiser LXF File Inaccuracies: In several places, I had to use this piece in place of this piece, due a flaw in the latter piece. I made a few substitutions of other pieces as well. Fixed! Also, the wheels are incorrect. -Toa Of Justice EDIT: I finally fixed the wheels, thanks to brick version 1564.2!

Thanks, but I have no plans to build a real brick version. For one thing, the wedge element I used for the windshield isn't available in transparent clear or smoke yet. Even for the pieces that are real, I don't have all of them. Moreover, I'm afraid of Design byME and/or BrickLink prices. -Toa Of Justice EDIT: I forgot to mention that I'm running out of storage space...

I've got a few more entries for the index! 30011-1 Police Boat LXF File Inaccuracy: I could not find the new cap piece. 30012-1 Microlight LXF File Inaccuracies: I could not find the proper torso print, and the propeller is not quite the same shape as the [new?] one in the instructions. 30013-1 Police Buggy LXF File Inaccuracies: I could not find the new cap piece, and the rear mudguard doesn't have a hole in it (as the instructions show). -Toa Of Justice EDIT: All models in this post loaded fine in LDD4.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Thank you. I was originally inspired to build this MOC based a desire to use some of the trans-yellow windscreen options near the bottom of this poll. In fact, the Windscreen 10 x 6 x 2 Curved at the front of my MOC is one of the options on that poll... For more info about the possibility of yellow windscreens and other new colors, click here. -Toa Of Justice

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Thanks! That's an interesting thought regarding the curved pieces. Like this? ^(click to enlarge)^ LXF File -Toa Of Justice

UPDATE: Please see the latest version a few posts below. One day, I saw this sleek vehicle on a framed cover image in a Cracker Barrel restaurant: After doing some research and finding out that the vehicle was called a "Sea Gull Boat," I decided to MOC it in LEGO Digital Designer: Click on any image (except the non-LEGO illustration) to enlarge it. LXF File - Brickshelf Gallery - Original article (on page 49) Note: You may need to rename the LXF file with an .lxf extension and save it as "All Files," otherwise it may save as a .zip folder. Credits: * Victor W. Strode of Portland, Oregon (for the original invention) * Edgar F. Wittmack (for the cover illustration) * Popular Science (for making their magazine available online) * Superkalle (for LEGO Universe mode) -Toa Of Justice

Thanks for the comments! I'm not sure if I can do that. First of all, this MOC was made in LEGO Universe mode, so there are probably a few parts that don't exist in the real world. Secondly, I prefer to keep my existing sets together, and I'd rather not spend money on BrickLink to get more pieces. Sorry if I disappointed you. Thanks. I was trying to make the wings fold back more, but it seems I made something better instead. Maybe someday...who knows. Inspiration for MOCs such as MotoMan doesn't seem to come up often enough for me, and if it does, time must be available. Another college term is just days away for me, so if I made another transforming MOC, it would be quite a long time from now. -Toa Of Justice

Nice MOC, Polish Guy! How did you make the angled walls? Is that same technique possible with modern LEGO bricks? -Toa Of Justice

Good job, Flare. I like how you made the sails. I'd like to see how it compares to the real thing though. -Toa Of Justice

Great work so far, lightningtiger! I really like the way you integrated those curved windows. -Toa Of Justice

Hello everyone, You may remember my old transforming robot MOC, MotoMan. After receiving some constructive criticism and inspirational Brickshelf links, I attempted to improve my original MOC. Please let me know what you think of... Click on any picture (except the logo text) to enlarge it. Check out what's under the "hood!" Land vehicle mode: Air/space vehicle mode: Check out the fold-out boosters and maneuvering flaps! Thanks for Popular Science and Jake Loniak for the original inspiration, and Superkalle for LEGO Universe Mode. -Toa Of Justice

Those ninjas must be very stealthy indeed--I can't see them! Either that, or they stole your Flickr photo, Brick Finder. All I see now is "This photo is currently unavailable." Could you please fix your photo so I can see your creation? Thanks. -Toa Of Justice

Great ideas, both of you. I also want these features for Knight's Kingdom/Exo-Force joints. -Toa Of Justice EDIT: I'd also like the ability to select one piece and create a connection by selecting a connection point on another piece. Connection points should be highlighted. Rotation upon connection should have the option of being manual or automatic.

I was trying to revamp my MotoMan MOC today, when I ran into a nasty bug that should not be in LDD: The dark stone brick combos will not fit under the curved windscreen, but the individual bricks will! Even stranger: One combo can fit, but not two at the same time, and only on this side of the curved windscreen! LXF File -Toa Of Justice

Attention, Classic Space and Neo-Classic Space fans! I have an MOC here that I think you'll like very much! I now present... NCS Gunbird Click on any picture to enlarge it. <Features and Specs> Crew: 2 (1 pilot, 1 gunner/engineer) Special note 1: If the engine needs repair, the gunner can give control of the guns to the pilot. By default, the pilot controls the front light blasters and wingtip cannons, but he can assume control of others as needed. Number of weapons: 35 (2 light blasters in the front, 4 swiveling blasters near the center, 4 wingtip blaster cannons, 4 heavy blaster cannons above and below the wings, 4 homing missiles that can also act as mobile blaster drones, 1 rotating and elevating quad cannon, and 16 hidden blasters inside the wings) Special note 2: As an option, whenever the pilot or gunner activates the weaponry, internal sensors can automatically choose the blaster that is closest to the target. The missiles are not affected by this. Number of thrusters: 19 (3 main thrusters in the rear, 2 wingtip thrusters, and 14 small maneuvering thrusters throughout the ship) Other notable features: 5 landing struts; opening access hatches near cockpit, gunner's station, and engine room; rotating gunner's chair and sensor dishes; folding tail fins; and swiveling front landing lights. Some might say this ship is heavily armed. They're wrong...it's VERY heavily armed! Most of the following pictures weren't safe to take in space, so I went back to the hangar...I mean building mode. Check out the interior! (Note: I hid some bricks as I took these pictures so you could see the details.) ALERT: Pesky jelly alien spotted in Sector M2! Gunbird, you're the closest fighter in the area, so go take care of it! [Pilot] We found the alien! [Alien] Oh, megabloks... [Gunner] And I just made it disappear! LXF File - Brickshelf Gallery (when public) (Note: You may need to rename the LXF file with an .lxf extension and save it as "All Files," otherwise it may save as a .zip folder.) EDIT: Oops, I almost forgot to give credit to Superkalle for providing the unlock instructions for LEGO Universe Mode. If it weren't for that mode, this model would not have been possible in LDD. Also, thanks to Superkalle for unlocking old gray, which is very prevalent in my model. -Toa Of Justice

Nice spacecraft, fred67! I really like how you made the front and back separable. As Randal said, I also think you should preserve your MOC in LEGO Digital Designer. Perhaps you could design other modules in that program too. By the way, has anyone mentioned that your MOC resembles a Y-wing fighter from Star Wars? -Toa Of Justice

Mars Mission - 5617 - Alien Jet LXF File -Toa Of Justice EDIT: The alien figure parts seem to have been removed from LDD4. EDIT 2: Now the alien figure parts are back! I also corrected the trans-bright green cones to trans-neon green.

Hello everyone! I was building the Rubble Rescue Rover (credit to LEGO for that model) earlier today. Suddenly, I was overcome by creative urges...and here is the result: Larger picture On their way to rescue some of their fellow miners trapped in a cave-in, Rex and his buddies are suddenly attacked by a small army of crystal-wielding Firox and Sulfurix. Will their dynamite, front plow, and engine power be enough to survive this perilous encounter? "Oh, no! Not the engine!" "All right, ya little pests! You asked for it!" "ROAR!" Other images: Overall - Behind the slope - Overhead Download the LXF file! (Right-click, "Save Target As...") Note: You may need to rename the file with a .lxf extension and choose "All Files," otherwise it may save as a .zip folder. Full Brickshelf Gallery (when public) Enjoy! -Toa Of Justice
