  1. captainsamus, did you happen to notice if any of the standalone Tiny Turbos had names on them? I know which ones are Turbo Tow (8195, the red Hummer-like tow truck), Blue Bullet (8193, the light blue and orange racer), and Nitro Muscle (8194, the dark blue/purple car). However, I still don't know the name of the lime green truck (8192). -Toa of Justice
  2. Darn! I was hoping for mini motorcycles in Chopper Jump, not a helicopter! That name is very misleading! However, I really like Ramp Crash and the standalone Tiny Turbos! I also think Strong (the yellow truck) is awesome! -Toa Of Justice
  3. From The San Diego Union-Tribune: LEGOLAND adds Vietnam Veterans Memorial exhibit Enjoy! -Toa Of Justice
  4. I got that e-mail from LEGO Shop at Home too! I suppose the LEGO Company can't afford to produce that model anymore, given its extremely large piece count. I wonder if the Taj Mahal (with even more pieces) will suffer the same fate as the Falcon. Good thing I already have my Falcon! -Toa Of Justice
  5. There is yet another Racers game online at racers.lego.com: LEGO Racers: The Robot Chronicles. From the LEGO Racers News Section: From the LEGO Message Board: Personally, it is very difficult to tell whether this qualifies as a true Racers game...it is more like a mash-up of City, Racers, and Agents. It could easily belong to any of those themes...but since I found this at the Racers site I thought it would be best to post about it here. Enjoy! -Toa Of Justice EDIT: The "field" inside the game is located in the lower right corner of any vehicle selection screen. Entering "micro" in that field activates a shrink ray weapon.
  6. I think it's a bit more than that. You can win points in each race to upgrade your car with parts to overcome various challenges. You can also set your strategy in each zone (how much you will risk at the end, what color light you start on [red, yellow or green], and whether you want to accept challenges from other players). Personally, I was hoping for greater control of my car, but I can't complain too much since the game is free. -Toa Of Justice
  7. Ah, I see now. Thanks for that tip. If I ever get into making Power Functions vehicles, I will be sure to remember what you said. Even though it wouldn't be cheap, I still think people would buy it. -Toa Of Justice
  8. Wow, that is a great MOC! I can't believe that it wasn't included in the official instructions of 8262. That might have convinced me to buy 8262. Can the lights be turned on and off as you are driving it (or when you are not), or do the lights come on automatically when the vehicle moves? -Toa Of Justice
  9. It seems as if the news article was correct about the new video game being Flash on the PC. However, at least it is free, and it is very similar to the old Drome Racing Challenge of 2002. Check it out here. -Toa Of Justice
  10. Actually, LEGO did produce a Red Baron set. Unfortunately, it wasn't in minifig scale. Back on topic: I gave 7198 an outstanding rating. The designs are awesome, and I really like the pop-off wings on the German airplane. Unfortunately, I don't like the price, but I'll be satisfied with just pictures of this amazing set. -Toa Of Justice
  11. This set reminds me of the awesome-yet-defunct EXO-FORCE line. I gave it a 4 because of all the action features and cool pieces. However, your built model seems to be missing a few pieces--I was concerned because of the "extra" crystal and Plate 1 x 1 with Clip Light - Type 2. I don't think LEGO would ever include pieces of that size and complexity as extras, especially in a set like this. From looking at the box, I have deduced that those pieces belong on the other side of the Crystal King's head. I also noticed two "extra" cheese slopes--usually LEGO only includes one extra per set (unless there are multiple colors of that piece or multiple bags which contain that piece in a set). I believe that one of those slopes should accompany the other two "extra" pieces next to the head. Other than the small possible building slip-up, I liked your review very much! Please excuse my eyes for small details, -Toa Of Justice
  12. Personally, I'd like to see the return of Ninjas or some other Asian historical theme. -Toa Of Justice
  13. That sounds very interesting, SkyOtic! I think it would be cool if the the new game was like that. I remember that LEGO Stunt Rally has a similar concept, but you win track pieces rather than car pieces. However, you also win whole cars (from your opponents) in that game. -Toa Of Justice
  14. Thanks for pointing this out, LuxorV! I wish the LEGO Company would have provided some more pictures of the sets on the wish list though. By the way, 8958 Granite Grinder is currently on my wish list. -Toa Of Justice
  15. I'm sorry about that. I get what you're saying now. I hope it won't be like that. -Toa Of Justice
  16. Much Larger Picture Please pardon the dust, it's been sitting around for quite a while and I can't find a dusting cloth. By the way, that background is a pair of small sorting trays propped up between the model and a larger sorting tray, all on a black table. I thought it looked very appropriate for a Star Wars model. I like it too! I think the LEGO Company should bring it back. -Toa Of Justice
  17. If I recall correctly, most Flash-based games on LEGO.com are free to play. If I do have to pay money for it, I would look for a review about the game before I play it, and I recommend that anyone else who wants to play it should do the same (unless the game turns out to be free of charge). -Toa Of Justice
  18. Then at least it would be free to play, right? Money saved ON! -Toa Of Justice
  19. Small cockpit aside, I think that this is a really cool set. However, the front landing strut on my set seems to collapse frequently, so I added some clear bricks in between the Jedi Starfighter itself and the strut's foot to keep it propped up. Also, what the heck is up with your R2 dome -- did you rebuild this set and grab the wrong part by mistake, is that what you got in the set, or did you modify that piece? I got a normal one in my set, and that's what's on it right now. -Toa Of Justice EDIT: According to Peeron.com, the price of this model is $20.00 USD.
  20. I wonder if because it's a Flash-based web game, will it be free to play (like the Drome Racing Challenge)? -Toa Of Justice
  21. Here's a whole bunch of map pics, courtesy of Peeron.com! By the way, I like the new map, but I think the older ones look more appropriate for the Pirates line. -Toa Of Justice
  22. Are you talking about the Drome Racing Challenge or the Drome Racers video game? Either way, I hope it'll be better than those games... Of course, I enjoyed both of them too. -Toa Of Justice
  23. I recently received Wing Jumper along with many other new LEGO sets in a big brown box. I took a glance at the top of Wing Jumper's box, and I saw this: Full Resolution Image (Over 9MB, 2949x1567 pixels!) After a search on the Internet, I found out this may be a NetDevil game, according to this article: http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/net...th-lego-racers/ Bring on the posts! -Toa Of Justice
  24. You're right, someone would have to buy them! Maybe I should shoot projectiles from LEGO Pirate cannons at the terrorists instead! -Toa Of Justice
  25. It's done. Thanks for your permission. -Toa Of Justice
