  1. For extra security, may I suggest that you change your password, preferably to something more complex? That way, if Dark1 really did hack into your account, he wouldn't be able to do it again because he wouldn't know your new password. -Toa Of Justice
  2. Thanks. X-D The long Technic pin in my MOC is hidden between the two round jet pieces and inside the Technic axle joiner in the center. :-) You can see a hint of it in the upper right image of my entry pic. -Toa Of Justice
  3. For the police officers and firefighters, may I recommend 5612 and 5613? You get one figure plus accessories in each set. I hope this helps. -Toa Of Justice
  4. I like it very much. :-) My only suggestion is that you could add some stabilizers so that when it's lifting things, it does not tip over. ;-) -Toa Of Justice
  5. Maybe you could PM him, then he'll come to your aid. X-D -Toa Of Justice
  6. :-D I am extremely happy at the moment, because I have solved the problem! X-D It turns out that the user script "Show Password onMouseOver," when enabled in IE7Pro, appears to be the cause of the bug. That script, not this board's code, has the "appendChild" string detailed in the Microsoft link in the first post of this topic. I have disabled the plugin, and EB works fine. I have reported the bug to the plugin's creator, and in the meantime, I think this topic can be closed! X-D -Toa Of Justice P.S. Hinckley, where is the line drawn as to what is and what isn't appropriate on EB?
  7. I wouldn't say that Eurobricks was crime-ridden. :-/ But if I find any inappropriate posts, I'll report them faster than you can say my name. :-P It was an easy contest for me. X-D Heh...I knew that both sites use the same software. :-$ -Toa Of Justice
  8. It seems to be a consistent problem. When I refresh an EB page the first time, upon reloading it gives me the error. I can refresh away the error page, and then the page properly reloads. If I try to refresh the properly reloaded page, I'll get the error again. *wacko* Thanks Hinckley! X-D I checked, and Javascript appears to be turned on. I'm also experiencing the same problem at BZP, so it may be an Invision problem. I looked at the Invision web site, and there have been several reports of a similar problem already. Also, when I refresh the page on their site, I get an error there too. X-O 8-| Nope, that wasn't it. UB's suggestion is a helpful post, and the Opera site looks clean. -Toa Of Justice
  9. Thanks. :-) I've seen Hagrid so many times, yet I don't know why I didn't recognize that face of his... *wacko* ...maybe it's because Hagrid has his beard on all the time and I never saw what was underneath it. :-P I believe this, although it's just a 3-D pic, is closer to the magical part you seek. I just took a regular 1x1 plate, copied it, then turned it upside down and merged it with the other one. Therefore, this part does exist, but only in MLCAD (unless you dare to take a couple of 1x1 plates, sand them down, and glue them together >:-) ). It's getting late where I live, so goodnight for now. *sad* zzz... -Toa Of Justice
  10. The error: Since around late 2007, I have been receiving an error message whenever I refresh a page at Eurobricks. Here is a screenshot of the error message. Clicking "OK" will cause the page to become an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" page. I'm using Windows XP with IE7. A possible solution: It seems like the geeks at Microsoft recommend rewriting part of the site's code. More info here. I ask the admins/techies/geeks at Eurobricks to please get this resolved soon. 8-| -Toa Of Justice
  11. Thanks! X-D I can't figure out why we're not getting more new members, it's such a nice site. *y* Again, thanks! X-D Yet again, thanks! X-D The only piece I know I don't recognize that I see quite often on this site is the face of Hinckley's sigfig. Is it a custom decal, or is it a part I could find in a LEGO set? As for the part you're describing in your sig, I know it's probably not an exact match, but it serves the same purpose, and it's quite common. There's even two types! X-D -Toa Of Justice
  12. Hello to everyone at Eurobricks! :-) When I heard of the Robo Chopper contest, I decided to stop being a guest (for over 3 years at this site) and join the fun! X-D I like how the members here seem very mature and well-behaved. *sweet* I will try to behave just the same. (By the way, I just turned 19 about a week ago, so now I definitely fit the criteria for registration. :-P ) I also like how this site has the look and feel of BZPower, where I originally came from. It's easier for me to navigate, tweak my settings, and make posts that way. I admit that I am very knowledgeable when it comes to parts. More often than not, I can get the exact name of any part, assuming I know what set (or theme) it's from. If I think of anything else to add to this post, I will do so. -Toa Of Justice EDIT: Here's something else I remembered about myself: I have incredible visual-spatial skills (I can imagine exactly how elements connect in 3-D space), and I tend to notice the smallest details in a model. I also have what my dad often calls a "steel-trap" memory, which helps me be so good at recognizing different parts.
  13. The two yellow pieces are available in a few sets. Here is the Peeron listing of the tail piece and here is the Peeron listing of the rounded dimpled slope brick. Judging by the pic, I'd say the [medium stone] gray axle is a #3 and the the other one is a #6 (at least that's what I used in my entry). I'm afraid I don't quite understand that one, sorry. :-P I hope this helps. -Toa Of Justice
  14. Here is a composite multi-angle pic of my idea of the Robo Chopper, and here is a LDraw 3D version (Note: You will need to download many parts from the Parts Tracker in order to view my model properly in 3D mode. Put all downloaded parts in the C:\LDRAW\PARTS folder, any subfiles in the C:\LDRAW\PARTS\S folder, any primitives in the C:\LDRAW\P folder, and any 48-segment primitives in the C:\LDRAW\P\48 folder. The robot leg, which originally came from here, has been converted into a usable format by me here.) Since this is supposed to be a 2008 EXO-FORCE promo, I kinda thought it might resemble one of this year's existing sets somewhat, so I based its design off the Storm Lasher. At first, I thought I was going to need two 1x2 bricks with axleholes to effectively use the large axle, but then it occurred to me that the robot minifig torso has an axlehole in the back of its head, so many of the parts are mounted there on my MOC. I made an effort to use every part on the list (including the doubles ;-) ) in this MOC. -Toa Of Justice
