It's different barcodes in Europe and North America (the ones on the first page are european). Try this sheet, that has both versions: http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/miscellaneous/8684Barcodes.pdf -
If someone want to compare them to the real posters, those can be found here. The person who did this must have some good knowledge about LEGO to come up with fitting heads and outfits. There's even some customizing on Maria Wetterstrand's (the Green Party) head I think (isn't it this head but without hair?

few questions about the advent calender minfigs
Etzel replied to Muha83's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Answer to all questions: Whatever you want! It's LEGO, no need to crave a story line from TLG. Make up your own! -
Stunning work, Matn! I understand why it took a long time to finish, it's perfect! You've really paid attention to details in the MOC and there are so many great parts to look at and admire. Not only are the station's exterior extremely well done with fitting colours, but the interior is also high class, I really like all the furniture. Very good, I say once again!

Thank you everyone for your very nice comments! It feels great when your MOC gets so much attention and admiration! It's true that the MOC could benefit from if there were more cavemen or some big kick-@$$ creature, it would sure have been a much more action filled and possible funnier MOC. But it was fun to try something new and try to make a MOC that's not focused on minifigs or what they are doing, but on the landscape. But of course I couldn't resist putting in some easter eggs too Sorry about that, Skafte! I'm sure you will come up with a great cave too, take some inspiration from Lummelunda or Stora Förvar

This looks great L-space! Huge project and with lots of details, a lot of work behind that I can tell. Please, keep posting these WIP photos, it's really nice to follow someone's building process I think. Keep up the good work!

They are available at Shop@Home too, in all countries I think.

Thanks! Only real LEGO in my MOC (And yes, I've used in two other MOCs of mine too) Well, the dirty ones have. From the beginning the river was inspired by the Yangtze River in China, which often have just this colour because of all the sediments it carries. But my idea of a Chinese MOC didn't turned out as I wanted so I transformed it to this instead.

The prehistoric times could be bothersome in many ways, there were fierce animals, shifting climate and still much unknown mysteries for the first humans to encounter. But there were still very few humans at this time, maybe loneliness was just as big a problem... Our caveman has been out searching for food to kill of the gloominess, maybe he can console himself by eating some freshly catch fish. Here we have our caveman's dwelling. The bear skin keep him warm during the cold nights but he would rather have someone special that could share his bed. Outside the cave we can also see his latest work, a round stone that rolls very well. Some more surroundings. Hey wait, what's that?! Oh, this must be the famous "missing link". Who could know we had so rock hard ancestors? This overthrows all earlier research, a new evolution map has to be drawn. More pictures here when the gallery has become public: Brickshelf Thanks for watching! /Etzel

Here we go again, "cheap plastic". It's slightly different, not necessarily worse quality (and we don't know if it's cheaper than the regular). It's used in various minifigs including Kingdoms Battle Packs, Magnets, Vintage Minifig Collection and the Collectible Minifig series. Some people think the difference to other minifig parts are annoying and some don't. If you want to avoid these kind of minifigs and are unsure if the set you're interested in contains those, I suggest you look up the review of the set here on Eurobricks and read through it. That information is important to some AFOLs and therefore it's almost always included in the review.

A very happy birthday, Bonaparte! Celebrate together with your dear ones and of course your hoplite army :P

Collectible Minifigs: What's your favorite new part mold?
Etzel replied to Rick's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Really hard to decide, they are all so good! But eventually I settled for Skater's hair and Skiers Beanie, it could however just as well had been Nurse's and Pop Star's hair. -
Happy birthday, LuxorV! Hope your day will be filled with joy and fun!

Quarryman encourage me to join this yesterday, and now that I have started I must say that I think it's a great idea! Very fun and entertaining. I got 11 already but it's getting harder to get the one without clues now, so I guess I'll have to wait for them -
Oh, I love that kind of nit-picking! That sounds familiar (or at least plausible, it was some years since I read CoS ). In that case I still think the 2002 sock is nicer, although not book-true. But maybe Harry made some embroidery on his spare time

I love the sign, great use of the PoP arches. The colour scheme is also great with the brown and tan and the two colour splashes on each of the duellers. I also like how you use the base for some extra details, it's becoming more and more common and I enjoy it If I would change anything it would be the rail, I don't think the droid arms work very well actually. Otherwise I find it hard to give any tips, it's a really nice MOC

Yeah, I don't believe there any wrong with the list either. But it was very strange that I couldn't find any spartans in the newly opened box (I saw the cashier open the box and I was the only one going through it). I guess I either didn't look hard enough (possible, but I thought I was very careful), or it was a box without spartans (very unlikely, but shit happens). It was in any case very frustrating to not find the last minifig after having biked through half the city in the rain. But I will visit my brother in another town soon, so I guess I'll raid their toy shops for the spartan instead. -
EB News, a never-failing source of interesting stories about our dear members! I don't know if I ever commented on your Hogwarts when you first posted it, Sandy. So I'll do it now: Love it! Big and full of details, just how a doll-house should be. The forthcoming HP sets just screams to be a part of that. Do you have Feminist Initiative in Finland? If yes, that would be my guess of what party you candidate for in the elections.

Thanks for the nice review of a "still-to-be-officially-released" set! I'm looking forward to get my hands on this one myself. My main interest in this set is Lucius Malfoy, a very nice minifig with the long tan hair, good face and great torso. However, I really can't agree with your sub-title for the topic. I definitely think that the old set from 2002, 4731 Dobby's Release, is a better set: If we judge only from the minifigs I can see why someone would prefer the new set, since we not only get one more minifig but they are also more detailed. But the differences are not that big, and the 2002 Lucius Malfoy is a really great minifig even by today's standards. The real difference between the sets however are the very nice and detailed corner of the 2002 version, and the, in my opinion, really weird looking arch in the 2010 version. In the old set we also get a lot more interesting parts, with the basic wall bricks, nice windows and printed book. If we shall go into details I also think that the 2002 sock looks much nicer with the Gryffindor emblem than the very dull-looking 2010 sock. But as I wrote, this set is still good enough to be on my to-buy-list. Edit: Spelling and punctuation.

You're not alone! I got the exact same problem. I have also gone through several well-filled boxes and one completely new-opened box without finding a corresponding barcode to the spartan on my list (the same as yours). But as Rick points out, in Superkalle's topic the bag barcode does match with the one on my list. I really don't understand what we are doing wrong -
That would be great it you can make it, Svelte! Judging from this year, having an aussie on the event is a huge success

Nice army, Bonaparte! 34 of those fantastic hoplites are definitely a respectful number and is worth a lot of awe . This is the only minifig from Series 2 that I don't have, and also the only one I want more than 3 of. But I'm confident that I shall find them soon. I agree that it would be great to see these minifigs in a MOC. That will be a relief for every other AFOL in your neighbourhood

Really don't have any idea how my life and time will look next year. But this I won't miss! Therefore those dates will be fine to me as well. Hope to see many familiar and new faces there!
