Well, that period was not only vacation but also work (although a very nice work). But now I'm back with a lot of LEGO-energy! Unfortunately I can't begin MOCing straight away since I have a massive amount of bricks to sort first. Almost all the sets I bought at the EB Event in Billund in April are still unpacked plus that I have a lot of MOCs that needs to be dismantled too. But it feels good to be back and starting to catch up with the latest news and gossip in the LEGO world. Edit: Also, for how long am I going to be named PrEtzel? I thought it just was a temporarily change due to the EB Event, but now it seems to have stuck permanently. I guess I could get used to it but it's a little confusing sometimes

Nice catch, KimT! I'm late to the race and haven't got my hands on any hoplites yet, but I will soon I hope. Maybe I need to get to a town not so dense populated with AFOLs to have a better chance As far as I know all the boxes had the same content and it's the same with this series too. Old Space sets from the 80's and in dark grey in some Castle sets from the same period. I'm actually quite fond of that shield, it reassembles some nice bronze age shields very nice with it's concentric circles.

It's summer time! I'm going away from my LEGO and Internet over the summer. Have a good time and play well! See you in August or September.

This is my biggest annoyance with the new version too. I'm so used with getting another tab when I click a link and now I just keep closing the wrong window all the time.

Hurray, I won! Thank you everyone, especially the C-P staff for arranging the contest! It was very fun and I think it has brought us some really nice battle MOCs. Congratulations to Perfectionist, a well deserved price winner. With the great 'Armybuilding Package' I will now be able to make more armies, so I hope I will present another battle MOC later this year.

It's been a great contest, very nice entries overall! I like the concept which encourage historical accuracy and all the knowledge we are given by the entries. Lots of interesting history here. My votes are: 1 pt, 2. Tanotrooper Capture of the Eagle of the 45th (Waterloo) 1 pt, 8. MrCool1804 Battle of Spotsylvania 1 pt, 17. Lego Warlord 8 Battle of Bennington Thanks to the Classic-Pirates team for arranging the contest and thanks to all participants for the great entries! I'm hoping for a replay next year

How long will the voting continue? I can't find any information about that. Stupid me, just when I had posted I saw it. Is it Sunday for sure?

Actually it's been June 1st in all of the world for more than 6 hours already. So in 20 hours it's not June 1st in any part of the world, it's June 2nd or even June 3rd in some places. But you're the boss so I wont arguing.

I just checked and yes, there is a difference. A very, very slight difference with the arrow being about 1 millimetre longer on the new bow and a little change in the angles of the ends of the bow. It's very hard to spot unless you hold one bow over one other. Don't see a reason for why this would make anyone sad because it's a very insignificant change and is, as said, hardly noticeable.

LEGO 8684 Minifigures Series 2 (Official Pictures)
Etzel replied to GRogall's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Exactly the same order of colours as the vintage minifigs collections are. I'm sure the fifth series (if we get one) will be red -
I like it! I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy this set, which I can't say about the Lion's Castle which I find quite boring. This set has better colours and pieces I think. By only looking at the pictures I can't see that many large pieces. There are the stairs and portcullis and some black wall pieces but they aren't that many I think. I'm not looking at the set design when I'm buying sets since I will take it apart for MOCing usually within a week after I bought it, so the design flaws with no interior and low security doesn't matter to me. The minifigs are nice, I like all the different torsos and the new helmet. On the other hand I'm a little disappointed by the heads, just the same old as we have had in Castle and Pirate before. I think that we only get 1 new head in the whole line (the king's/blue wizard's). Still, still set get a solid 3 out of 5 from me. Good set that I'm going to buy Definitely this one for me. Much better minifigs and colour scheme.

Fantastic work, Svelte! So much sand orange/medium nougat You made a great job with the bridge, it looks very nice with all those arches and the 1x4 SNOT bricks that adds lovely texture. The bathroom for Nizam is really good to, the waterfal is very clever. Can't understand why Disney didn't made a scene like this for the film If I should find negative with the MOC it would be the tiling of the dark tan mountain. Especially the area behind Dastan feels unnatural to me with too much tiles. But overall a great work!

Yes it is. It can now be hold by a minifig without problem.

A brick I couldn't find the set for.

Just a little power of deduction does the trick One piece that looks like the stern of a ship would probably be a quite big piece. Where would you find such big pieces? Ah, the 4 Juniors themes, and there was a Pirates sub-theme. Looking at the sets and there it was. Easy as pie! And I didn't even realize I was in the LDD section, I just clicked the topic from the Board Index I think I'm gonna leave this forum to you computer nerds but feel free to call me if you have trouble finding pieces or understanding vague questions -

Is this the piece? It was used in one of the 4 Juniors Pirates ship so you might have missed it if you searched only the System Pirates. -

Yes it does. Here is the BL part: 88646 Tile, Modified 4 x 3 with 4 Studs in Center -
It's a preliminary picture of the 7569 set. The final design is this: S@H link For some reason TRU have the wrong picture and what is shown is not what you get.

The thread in this forum about Series 1 is just a review by WhiteFang. Most of the talk about series 1 is in this thread with over 1200 posts -

You are getting really annoying now, indianajones. Nobody except you thinks he's an actor, and nobody thinks he's a ninja either. He is clearly a karate champion which TLG already has made clear in the text for the preliminary picture: LINK It's OK for you to think of him as an actor if you want to, and I'm sure a lot of people will use the statuette as an Acadamy Award but please, don't go over and over about how it can't be a karate kid when that's what LEGO intend him to be. (if it's a joke you've driven it too far I say ) -
Can you provide a link? I can't find any sets in the Creator NA S@H that's not in the rest of the world too.

Very nice, def! Recognizable situation indeed, although I mostly have my conversation with "The Brick" at home in front of my computer while surfing EB That line really made me laugh out load Kids, when will they learn that LEGO is for adults only...
-
Yes, it's the same. Better or worse than the old wall panel? Well, that's a more difficult question

Hopefully this will make Cad Bane's hat cheaper on BL when it comes out. Because I want just the hat

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Audience Participation

I managed to mess it up quite a lot for myself the last day, not the smoothest moves. Ah well, I had some good killing before that at least. Go Nizam! Go Nizam! -

Yeah, that picture has been out for some month now. But it's marked confidential so you're not allowed to deeplink to it. Besides, it's only preliminary. There are a lot of thing that aren't final on that picture (e.g. the hat of the mexican, it will be a sombrero).
