    My 2012 turned out to be "spend less, build less", not the most productive year for me as an AFOL. But I still managed to get some MOCs together, attend some local LUG meetings and of course buy the most interesting sets of the year (mainly LotR and Collectible Minifigs). I thought I would start building more big MOCs this year but I still haven't build bigger than 48x48 studs. Maybe I need a bigger desk first... I'm looking forward to 2013 and all what it may bring, but I'm not setting up any goals. I'll take one LEGO-day at the time.

    "No, I never told him about the letter yesterday. I wanted him to have a relaxing and then I had planned to tell him this morning before he left so that he should be prepared. None of the people here at the House of Ennoc's Children is close to anyone in the High Counsel. Well, I got some contact with High Priestess Mandrea, she was my mentor when I joined the Order, but it's been quite a while since we last met. Sir Helmer knows Lord Kapriel, the High Commander of the 1st Battalion of Light and Justice, since he served under him before coming here, but I don't think Lord Kapriel knows about Sir Helmer and certainly not that he is located here now."

    "No, no one had visited us for weeks until both Mandric and you guys came yesterday. I'm sure the murderer is amongst the people currently present in the convent."

    Maurice takes one of his bottles of Nostrum and drinks it, hoping to get some advantage in the battle that probably is at hand.

    *Sigh* "This is exactly why I didn't want you to read the letter, you just rush away and think it's important to the investigation without thinking critically. No one has read the letter but me, and now you, and the content of it was unknown to everyone in the convent. What Mandric did to earn himself a banishment from the Order I do not know for sure, but he did have some powerful enemies in the High Counsel. Some of they probably used a small slip-up by my brother and blew it up beyond proportions to make the rest of the Counsel follow their lead and ban him. All this would of course had come forward during the trial, it was only serving as a hold-up and distraction for Mandric and to give him a bad name inside the Order. I told this to the High Counsel myself in the letter I wanted you to deliver. You can read it if you like but it's just the same as I've said here."

    The heroes returns to the priestess office and reads the letter: To all officers, priests and commanders in the Paladin Order The High Counsel has come to the conclusion that the former paladin and commander of the 2nd battalion of Light and Justice, sir Mandric Melifano, has acted in ways not compatible with the Righteous Light will be put at trial for crimes against the Paladin Order. Until a verdict is reached sir Mandric Melifano is banned from the Order and anyone in the Order is forbidden to collaborate in any way with him.     Maurice turns to Hergrit. "I'm terribly sorry for the mess me and my companions have caused. I'm willing to buy a package of fish out of good will. But please tell me, do you know of an amulet, looks like a big tablet probably, that is possibly in this room? We need it to continue our mission in deposing the Dark General, something that your Fishing guild should benefit greatly from."

    I'll repost here to move this poll up higher on the first page. I voted for the Fortune Teller, a really well designed minifig. All the printed dresses in this series are awesome, but the Fortune Teller's stands out with its incredible details and uniqueness. The hairpiece is also really interesting and can be very useful. I like that she has tarot cards as accessory instead of a crystal ball (which I already got several of), and they look very well designed too. The head is my only minor concern, I would have preferred if the mouth wasn't open. But every new female head is adding to better gender equality in my collection which is great. I will probably only get one of this minifig and several of the Forest Maiden, Judge and Heroic Knight, but I still like this one the best.

    Thanks for the great review WhiteFang! Too bad it became so popular that it crashed the site A really good series, I like most of the minifigs. But the distribution of the minifigs in the box is horrible! Only 2 of some figs really sucks and will make it harder and more expensive for everyone who wants a full set. It hardly helps the army builders either since there are so many different army builders out there, some wants knights, some wants aliens, some wants forest maidens, some wants waiters. I wish the figs came in as even number as possible. Hopefully it's just one of those early uneven distributed boxes that you've got WF and the rest will be the normal 3 full set boxes. My favorites in this series are the Fortune Teller, Judge, Forest Maiden and Roman Emperor, all great designs. Not that interested in the Battle Mech but I will get one to complete the collection.

    Recap: So the heroes decided to go and ask priestess Mandrea once again if they could read the letter and Alexis put their wish forward in a way that made Mandrea say: "If you really think the letter will help you in your investigation I guess you can read it, it's on the desk in my office. But remember that the letter is written by persons with certain opinions and you can't trust everything they say. I really hope you present a suspect for the murder soon. Mandric's battalion will soon be here and when they find out about the murder they will be very upset, they were very loyal to him. In we don't have a suspect to present by then I'm afraid they will start their own investigation and that won't be pretty. Good news is that Jorke the cleric has a special pill that will help us in the investigation. It's a verita serum that will force whoever eats it to only speak the truth. When you have a main suspect we can force him or her to swallow the pill and then start our questioning."

    "Ah, fishing fleets from the Free Islands I presume, or is there another reason?"

    Maybe tomorrow. We will get a new update then, but it could of course be yet another tease. Nobody knows for sure.

    Nope, no LEGO print inside the feet of my S1 zombie (which I'm sure is authentic). Quite a few other minifig legs that I checked missed that feature as well, so I wouldn't consider it a reliable factor when it comes to identifying fakes.

    "Not surprisingly, there where several others here at the convent who didn't liked sir Mandric much, but I din't think anyone here at the convent would go as far as killing. It looks like I was wrong, though. I don't want to name him as a suspect, but Ansar, the gardener, can sometimes have some anger management issues. Maybe something to look into." "I saw him last time at dinner yesterday, but then I heard him some time after midnight when he came back to his room. I was up in my office which is located right above sir Mandric's room so I could hear him through the floor, he was pretty drunk by then. I went to bed shortly after that so I never heard or saw when he left his room."

    "Never speak ill of the dead they say. But yes, there was some things sir Mandric and I didn't agree on. For example the centralization of the Order, with the High Counsel having more and more power over the rest of the organization. And I didn't like his excessive drinking, especially not here at he convent where it made some novices uncomfortable."

    "I think it's best to make sure we are all at full health so I'm going to heal Nerwen, Sorrow and myself, I got lot of ether so that's no problem."

    "Oh, a plume?." Maurice tries not to show his disappointment over the given loot, he doesn't want to seem like some sort of greedy rogue. You gave me 1 max health and 1 max ether too much, I should be at 42 resp. 24. I've only got +18 from level upgrades so far (you get the first when advancing to lvl 2 which means +18 at lvl 19).
