  1. Maurice equips the Helm of Haroka (instead of the old helmet), feeling stronger at once. "Does anyone want my old helmet? It's not the best, but better than nothing."
  2. I was just thinking that we could save our phoenix essences, but it looks like we have plenty so go on.
  3. Please don't autoplay until someone is knocked out. I'm sure everyone would like to get xp from the fight and there is no reason why we can't do this the safe way. Those that could be knocked out should attack from the back row. Maurice attacks the Riot Cart from the front row.
  4. Just make sure your characters are constantly drunk and behave bad in all imaginable ways and it will be just as on the real cruises, perfect scene for a mafia game.
  5. Maurice looks confident as he brings down Vokal and turns to attack his next target, Xilo from the front row. "At least two people should target Terca this round to ensure he is taken out!"
  6. Terca should be on 24 health, you never took away the 20 damage Sorrow did. Maurice attacks Vokal from the front row.
  7. Maurice follows the orders from his party leader and attacks the cowardly Uvarii from the front row.
  8. "Greetings adventurers, it's a pleasure to meet you. Hlin, I've heard a lot about you, I think our combine forces will work well together." "That's very kind of you, Nagure. Thank you very much, and good timing too. I just felt like I've grown strong enough to equip a third artifact." Maurice puts on the borrowed Heavy Armour (SP:5)
  9. "You move fast like lightning, Guts. Good fighting there." Maurice heals himself and poor Sorrow as well.
  10. A second diamond? Seems Maurice is all for the shiny, glittery stuff.
  11. "Ouff, my tactic didn't work that well. Lady Nerwen, could you try and heal Sorrow in the beginning of next round? If we are lucky you are blessed by your gods and will receive a Miracle. I'll attack Quarnoth from the back row."
  12. Then the rest of the party will just sit back next round and watch Guts the Whirlwind do his thing.
  13. Maurice attacks Selfast from the front row, hoping to get a stun on the enemy to prevent the free hit.
  14. "No, someone started a battle before we could get our meals packed." Maurice then saw how the raider prepared to attack the strange watch "dog", sighed and pulled out his shield. "Here we go again I guess."
  15. "Maybe it takes so long because we are going around the Armory. If we had gone straight to that first we might had been there by now."
  16. Oh, new interlude! :sweet; Great job Rumble!
  17. I really can't see how this new castle and Kingdoms' 7946 differs much. They both uses the 60808 wall piece a lot, has a draw bridge, portcullis and towers. The 7946 was in fact the first castle that used that wall piece. I see this theme as a complete remake of Kingdoms, it looks almost exactly the same, which is both good and bad. What it has in common with KKI however, I can't see, apart from some blocky siege weapons and the good guys color scheme (which reassembles the crownies from Fantasy Era more). "Uninspired" might be a good grade for this theme, I'll agree on that, but not necessarily bad. But I really don't think Kingdoms' first wave was any better ( the second one however with the Mill Raid and King's Carriage was a more fresh new take on the Castle theme).
  18. Nice! I'm not sure but I think Zepher's Chaos in Eubric #53 might have something to do with Wren too...
  19. Thanks GRogall! Looks like a really good parts pack with nice colours. I'll keep an eye on this topic for more pics in the future.
  20. They still look very preliminary to me so it's hard to judge anything. It looks like a standard castle theme, just like Kingdoms. A large castle for the good guys, some smaller base for the baddies, small defensive structure with siege weapon attacking, horse-pulled cart, minor dual set. I'm mostly interested to see how the minifigs will look and if there are any new cool accessories.
  21. To Cronk from Ansar the Gardener: A basket full of fresh home-grown vegetables, +5 health to entire party if cooked in a kettle To Alexis from Fat Mats the Chef: A big thermos with hot soup. No need to worry about being late for the meals. To Haldor from Najdalena the Novice: A letter with a ticket to the theater in Bric'lin next week. Merry Grogmas from the House of Ennoc's Children!
  22. Thanks ISC for the review! I'm not really a fan of this set, too few useful pieces and although the minifigs are detailed and well done for their purpose, they don't really cut it for me. The amount of technic parts in this theme, just as in previous action themes, is too high. In my opinion the action themes suffer from being too focused on play features and not enough options for freestyle building with the pieces. Luckily there are other themes from LEGO that provides that. Still want a lot of those wing pieces though!
  23. "Thanks for the help! I wouldn't have liked being left behind with that cursed sisterhood. I'll heal anyone in need for that, and then I suggest we try the armory next. We might find something of use there."
  24. Maurice can do nothing but look on as the undead Sisterhood grows in both strength and numbers, but he really hopes that his party companions will be able to withstand the evil forces. Otherwise there would be no way out of this for himself.
  25. Thanks Zepher, it really means a lot coming from you who does such amazing quests yourself. This definitely was different from my previous quest, both in terms of goals and actions during the quest and also how it was to host them. I enjoyed hosting this second quest very much since I had got experience from the first one, had prepared most of the sets from before, and of course because my players were very active and interested in the quest. The characters were a very big part of this quest so I really put a lot of effort in them and I*m happy they turned out nice. Fun that you noticed the outfits, The Paladin Order's colors are white, gold and different shades of blue, so the outfits are centered around different combinations of those colors. The murder mystery theme was fun, you should definitely try one for yourself if you want to. It's not like there is only one such story to tell. I'll probably try and host the "Race to Duplovia"-quest I have ideas about before the next Paladin Order quest, but Boomingham is welcome in any of those. Thanks again! Thank you very much! I also think this one was more interesting then the first, but that might be because we all (and me especially) had more knowledge about the Paladin Order from the beginning of this quest. A background is always good to get the right feeling for the quest. Haldor's side quest is his to decide if he wants to share, I won't do it. The tempo in the quest went a bit up and down which is something that might have effected it negatively and caused some stress at the end but I think you all did a great job moving forward and constantly looking for new perspectives in the investigation. I would maybe had made it more clear that the objective was to find the person who the party found most suspicious, not the one they had clear evidence on because such didn't exist. As for Jorke's motives, well I can tell you that the letter had importance in his hatred against sir Mandric, who as a young officer denied Jorke to leave the 2nd Battalion of Light and Justice for going home to save his mother. But exactly why Mandric died that night when the party was visiting is still not fully discovered, and it may take another quest for the truth to be revealed... Thanks! I really wanted to explore how a quest without much fighting could be done, and I think I have to say it went pretty well. Characters and player freedom were what I laid focus on instead, I'm happy you liked it. I think we all got a bit anxious at the end but I think it turned out great. Thanks for playing, you did a great job as party leader and I'm happy that you liked it. Yup, the XP rewards was because of the few battles in the quest (the 1 on 1 training battle that only 1 of the 3 heroes got XP for, the catacomb battle and the battle with Jorke which ended without any XP gain). I got the feeling from my previous quest that it was just a story of how the heroes moved from battle to battle and I wanted to take a different route this time. Thanks for the compliments! The sidequests and private conversations between players and NPCs will be up to the players to post, some of them might be stuff that the heroes want to keep to themselves for some time or maybe not share until a future quest. Thank you very much! I love double sided heads so I tried to get at least of my characters to have such. My personal favorite part of this quest was the collision of Haldor and Jorke at the end. I knew that there was a possibility that it would happen but it all came down to a lucky die roll. Thanks Cronk for that Special Damage!
