  1. On the remote planet of Sci-Uridae the indigenous race of super intelligent squirrels work hard to build up food storages for the next winter. Sci-Uridae has an orbital period of 12 Earth years and thus the winter gets quite long. Luckily the squirrels got lots of extraordinary nutritious space nuts to keep them fed. Here we can see a scene where space nuts are distributed at one of the tree-shaped space stations. A small defensive anti-spacecraft station protects the space station from incoming attacks. The war against the woodpeckers might be over but it's just a fragile truce. There is also a small saucer for scouting missions. Thanks for watching! /Etzel
  2. Oh, okay. I got confused when the description in the marketplace specifically mentioned dragoons and skirmishers. But all things considered I think the Paladin's armour with immunity to Light that he got now fits even better. I'm definitely not guilty of min-maxing, the Heavy armour was probably better seen from a player perspective, but I don't really care about making Maurice some kind of superhero. It's more important to me to develop his story.
  3. "Not really. I don't see the purpose of fighting for other's amusement. I'm going to eat a meal and then return to the Temple of Ennoc for some time,I got some questions I must meditate over."
  4. Maurice decides to lighten his gold purse and pays a visit to Fabian's Fantabolous Fashion. "One of those Paladin's Armours that you got in stock, please. And here is a diamond that I would like to get merge with it. That makes 250 gold, right?" 530-250=280 He then walks over to Portia's Potion Shack and buys some Nostrum, three to be exact. 3x35=105, 280-105=175 gold left "That should be it."
  5. Maurice returns to the hall together with his quest comrades. "As I said before, Nagure, I think that armour fitted me very well. I'll be happy to buy it from you for 130 gold." "On second thoughts, I might have to withdraw that offer. I'm not sure it fits me at all apparently."
  6. Lovely work! I really like the waiting room with the unusual benches and pamphlet stand. Great use of the clockwork robot winder key in the clock, nice touch.
  7. "So it's just a normal gem now? Well, I've no interest in jewelry except for diamonds so you can do what ever you want with it. I don't care much for the Ziegfried mages so I won't come with you to them. I'm quite satisfied with the rewards for this quest."
  8. No, I truly believe the quest would've ended by now if it wasn't for a certain distrusting party leader.
  9. "I'm glad there is a solution we can both approve of. Are you others fine with this as well?"
  10. If it comes down to this I hope you can make some sort of explanation in-game that the Darkstar doesn't hold any powers anymore, or Maurice would continue to pursue Guts to hand it over.
  11. "Then give it to the Veterans of Heroica. It's still better than having the Darkstar in the possession of a single person."
  12. "The Paladin Order would never use it! I admit that there might be some of lesser faith that has infiltrated the Order, but with the combined power of all the righteous members and Ennoc they would never be able to come in contact with the Darkstar. No other organization in Eubric has such resistance and hate against dark magic as the Paladin Order, it's the safest option!"
  13. Great build, cecelie! The dinos' exo-suits looks great and I like how they are themed with the ship as well. The awesome landscaping really put together the scene!
  14. "I'm an devoted enemy to all kinds of dark magic as well, but I've learned the hard way that not even that is enough to withstand the evil power of this gem. Consulting Byblos is a good idea, but I doubt he has a good solution for what to do with it. Maybe it's better to give the Darkstar to an organization that can be trusted to never use it and that is filled with people that together will make sure no single person will come in control of the gem?"
  15. "Hold on! I don't think you should take this mysterious gem by yourself Guts. It's way to powerful for one man to control. We should make sure it stays out of everyones reach. If we cannot destroy it, we should throw it in a deep part of the ocean."
  16. x1870, one of my favorite parts.
  17. It took a while, but my entry for the Expand the Winter Village Contest III is finished, and in the nick of time too. I present: The Winter Village Log Cabin Light brick included to light up the fireplace. Pictures are links to my Flickr where you can see them in higher resolution. Thanks for watching! /Etzel
  18. "Nagure, if you are willing to part permanently from the heavy armor you gave to me earlier, I'm willing to buy it. Tell me if there is anything in my inventory that you would like and maybe we could set up a deal?" Maurice could relax a bit now when the quest seemed to be almost over. Apart from burning down Ismelda's kitchen it had turned out surprisingly well.
  19. Maurice shuts his ears and focus on keeping his angel in the battle, although he wished there was a way to exclude the undead from the angels protective sphere. What an ignorant and bitter fool! Not only does he question the power of Ennoc, the Righteous Light, now he tries to worship Helvetia in the middle of the battle! Hopefully the power of Maurice's guardian angel would protect the party from both attacks from the present enemies as well as unwanted divine interactions. Maurice continues to attack Haroka from the front row.
  20. "Are you missing eyes as well as soul, undead? I was meditating, not hitting anyone! Now excuse me while I tend to one of our party members that can use, and actually handle, a heal."
  21. "Hold your wicked tongue, undead! It's thanks to my faith that you are still alive and I didn't see you hitting anything either!"
  22. "Ah balls to it! I'll heal Nagure from the back row."
  23. Yeah, I'm ok with Guts ordering us around too. Maurice repeats his attack, Haroka from the front row.
  24. "I'll remedy myself in the back row."
  25. The hexing powers of Haroka and his Darkstar overwhelmed Maurice for a moment, but thankfully he managed to avoid hitting any of his party comrades. Luckily the effect didn't last long and with a clear head again, Maurice turned to remedy Sorrow from the back row.
