I have a question that is totally unrelated to the ongoing battle in my quest. Uhm, does the Paladin's Guardian Angel in any way "protect" against the Shaman's Blood Ritual?
-
No, the blood ritual doesn't take rows in account since it's not about damage but health transferred.

The heroes leaves the room with the two stone coffins and go back to the intersection to try the other way. The left part leads them to a similar room, but with only one stone coffin. The right tunnel leads to a bigger room with two stone coffins with ancient inscriptions on them. It seems the heroes have come upon the old catacombs of the House of Ennoc's Children. -

The first two combinations just result in the wheel turning a third of a turn, but with the Sapphire at the left, with the Diamond in the center and with the Topaz to finish it of in the right end, the wheel turns a whole turn. A lot of creaking and groaning is heard as the floor tiles in the middle of the sanctuary is slowly sliding apart and reveals an opening down into the ground. Down in the hole, the heroes can see a dark tunnel that splits in two up ahead. Where do they want to go? -

Cronk reverses the order of the gems to Diamond - Topaz - Sapphire, but that results in the wheel not turning at all. -

No sapphire is found despite Cronk's hard efforts, and with the diamond taken out the wheel won't turn at all. -
Thanks for the tip! No, the gem puzzle in my quest is extremely easy (once the heroes understand that there is a gem puzzle of course...) and has unfortunately nothing to do with King's Quest.

Cronk examines the floor and while he can't be sure about it, some mosaic plates looks to be further away from each other then before. But the cracks are just half an inch wide and he can't see anything through them. The gems does seem to be removable. There are three of them, from left to right; a sapphire, a topaz and diamond. -
Zlatan's performance against England was unbelievable! 4 goals, and what goals then! Especially the fourth!

The heroes go back to the sanctuary to look for the "tomb", and they the closest thing they find is a large white sarcophagus with 3 gems imbued on top and a strange wheel on the side: Behind the sarcophagus they find a bottle of Nostrum. Nostrum - Causes the lucky-effect, allowing the target to roll the battle die twice and get the better result of the two for the duration of one battle. -

I guess as two quests, but it's only the goal that is different really.

Cronk reads the letter he found: Dear Small Socks, Good job on the latest mision, miss yellouw looked verry stupid when she couldn't put her shoes on!!! You can collekt you're reward behind the tomb is the santuary. Your nekst mission is two scare the old hag's brother. Do it in the nigth when its dark. If you do it you get a nice necklace. Over and out, Queen Sunshine -
I've read up to the end of the second battle you talked about from one perspective (JB's quest) and I see what you mean. But the big difference is that in the Dastan quests all the heroes had a similar goal (save Dastan empire from Wren/rogues Lion Knights/Cultists, essentially good (heroes) vs. evil (those enemies I listed), but different ways to succeed, while in my planned quest the goals are contradictory to each other (either team Hinckwell or team Shadeaux wins, never both) but the way to win is the same for both team (bring home the artifact). Since all the Dastan quest had the same goal, the heroes were not very eager to fight each other, they knew there were other and more important enemies to take care of and if they failed they would jeopardize the entire empire. In my quest there is no bigger external enemy to unite against and nothing to lose (except loot) and therefore no reason for the teams to join together.

On the shield of the statue with the armor, is a small piece of dark blue cloth. Cronk continues to search for more clues and actually finds a small letter in the helmet of the statue. It's addressed to "Small Socks" in a childish writing. Letter to "Small Socks" -

The heroes pass through the dining hall and the corridor to the sanctuary, they find another empty bottle of beer in the corridor: In the corridor from the sanctuary to the dormitory the heroes stop for a moment to see if they can find anything of interest and to talk some about their nightly experiences.
