  1. that was obvious at the first sign - "Avant" model with 4 Olympic rings (now in white) and car manufacturer that made probably best 4 wheel drive - Quattro now I realized that you made also one more great thing - special universal joint with axle . Why didn't LEGO make such universal joint...
  2. That is why forums like this exist, to present own masterpiece, to make it better, and what is the most important to learn something new
  3. sadly LEGO does not produce such realistic tires do you have to use 3rd party ones Nice start
  4. ...can someone put those tires on original set to see how it looks like PLEASE. I was looking to bus this set but wondering how does it look with linked tires THANK YOU
  5. @julesvincent I agree with you completely.
  6. ...if you need a vomiting or vertigo, or perhaps when dentist want to save expanses on anesthesia...
  7. Nice little model (now imagine one with proper V8 (LPE))
  8. I know I'm a bit late, but really great model that can go along with Arocs. Specially with crane combination...
  9. What to say than - really great model, the only one thing that I can suggest is to use this part in light bluish gray color
  10. How many spare parts do I have? Actually I don't count them but I can say (as most of us here) not enough Probably some 20k or even more. Specially now when LEGO introduced tractor tires, so my main models will be disassembled... all but Unimog Implement carrier (this model has "proper" tires)
  11. before this conversation goes to extremes...I have one question - in which vehicles do you want to use larger LPE, I have one with pneumatic cylinders from 8455 set and steal look in what car to use it because LEGO tires with street profile are small...Only 94.3 x 38 (Unimog tire) has a potential (for a city car or similar) to be used with in-line 3 or in-line 4 engine; V8 can be used in muscle car but with what LEGO Tires? 3rd Party tires are often expensive as pneumatic engine...
  12. I understand that, but steering angle is going from bed to worse if you understand what I mean
  13. Portal axle hub is to wide anyway and steering radius is bad, but praise for your good intention for one of biggest problems that we have with LEGO Technic last years.... With the time 1/2 bushes will get loose...
  14. WOW, I'm speechless... BTW can you get a driving license for Hamster, so your pet can drive around your home?
  15. Due to limited number and variety of parts you've made great job
  16. mindstorm robot mh? Based on your profile picture this is more likely, but perhaps set 42069 is waiting for you...
  17. Take all the time that you need. It is a hobby, not a job.
  18. Look like this - if you don't like it you steel get great parts pack...
  19. He is probably on some evolutionary design breakthrough ... ...so he needs time to "document" his progress with proper photography
  20. Connector bike is the best choice IMHO, but generally it depends upon what bike you want to make from technic parts...Choppers are usually the ones with bigger wheelbase, so here you can make longer bike...classic bikes from 30s have shorter wheelbase and usually 2 cylinder engines (V formed or flat/boxer)... Tires idea is great
  21. Congratulation
  22. I agree with that. From my experience (first set 851) there is one virtue that LEGO is training us with their Technic line - it is patience. When you're patient enough and do not see as something that must be done in specific time then you'll find out it is a pleasant hobby and there is no need for frustration. question is what do you mean by hardest - complex construction or time spent to build particular set?
