Well it could be used for large scale vehicle and it does not have to be a car...specially not Macan that brakes down -

If you want large scale V8 engine I suggest V8 LPE My Humble opinion is that this is just studless version if older style engine like on 8865 set -
Sikorsky S70-C Firehawk (Delayed)
1gor replied to jwarner's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
My favorite are HH52 and S61-R models, but first model that I saw (long ago) were H-19 and H-34... I like helicopters, specially used like coastal guard, or for mountain rescue services...not to mention in fighting against fire... I think your version would end how one Sikorsky deserves - as headlight- 23 replies

Sikorsky S70-C Firehawk (Delayed)
1gor replied to jwarner's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sikorsky makes beautiful helicopters, especially for coast guard services; so I expect this one will be beauty. So far model looks really good. Battery placement is in optimal position.- 23 replies

I like the way you enforced axles, but I do not like engine made from axles... I know the feeling when functionality is done and visual side of moc is causing headache- 59 replies

I'll have fun (some day in future); thank you very much for that, but currently I'll keep my feet on the ground (working on Fastrac currently). I wanted always to make one of airplanes like P-38 or Focke Wulf FW189...anyway there are few interesting models in development here in TC15 About commands you are completely right, but I think I have what I need in following images: https://conceptbunny.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Lockheed_P-38_Lightning.gif And https://conceptbunny.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/lockheed-p-38-lighting.jpg (Images are to big, so I have posted links instead)

[TC15] Red Baron
1gor replied to Touc4nx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That looks promising Looking forward to se final Fokker D1 -
Thank you for permission I have looked at several color combinations on P-38 but white lightning is indeed best looking version. Pity that LEGO Technic cargo plane (42025) was more expensive here (in Croatia) than Arocs, so I bought Arocs... Yes it is huge, but if I decide to build it one day, it has to fit my other mocs scale, so I could use Unimog U423 or Fastrac 4220 to pull it First thing I have to make 1:15 'blueprint" of P-38, but here only this costs some 30€ (what is not cheap when I compare with my income which is about 850€)... I'll see what future is planning with this project

After googling about White lightning, I have recalculated and my P-38 would be 133 studs wingspan and 97 studs ling fuselage...I would probably have to hang it on ceiling But when I saw white version, I could not hesitate and have downloaded several wallpapers of it I'll probably 'steal' few your ideas in future

Technic history and gears
1gor replied to Atilla's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Now I'll be Mr. Obvious in this forum Is listed encyclopedia by Gary Istok and here is user istokg (the same person) in forum https://forum.brickset.com/discussion/22622/001-gears So I think Eurobricks forum topic mentioned by @bonox can give you more info if you can get those books @Atilla the Hun(garian) -
First if all I really like that you use 'classic' engine type (somehow I could not find it appropriate to have cylinders falling out - like solution on Mack or Corvette), but I hope that you make it with less rainbow colors, if you want it would be very nice in Hungarian flag colors (I apologize if there is mentioned that final version will be more 'monocolor' like white or light bluish gray...) So far I find very good solutions in your work

@SNIPE just few questions: This part in black, where did you see it in set 42096? And this part happens to be in light bluish gray in Corvette... I think now you can remove "recommended post" from the top
