Technic 2019 Set Discussion
1gor replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I know that I bought previous black version mainly for this part https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=10197&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 I was hoping that TLC could a little bit redesign it to put this one in black somewhere because I need just one of them... -
That could be third luck Anyway, one of mandatory features in my mocs is fake engine (I have just finished reconstructing the one on which I work for a while?...

[REVIEW] 42094 - Tracked Loader
1gor replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You are completely right; as someone who had 5 eyes operation (to see) so far (and 2 coming in next 5 years) I spent lots of time in communication with eye doctors not just for me but also for younger generation because I'm professor...so to make it short; dozens of studies and something that is undeniable (statistics) shows that bad vision, short-sighted, retina ablation...all are much increased in last few decade when (interesting) we use various screens, not just desktop PC or laptop, but also tablets and smartphones like I'm currently using...so if your kids have to use it please try to afford devices with AMOLED display to prevent pour vision and unpleasant consequences. Sorry for offtopic, but health is the greatest richness. Regards -
Really impressive MOC. The only thing that I do not prefer is fake engine like you use on Zetros, even ATV has proper (fake) engine. All in all you have impressive features Installed into your MOC.

I have forgotten to mention one thing; @Sariel is the guilty one that I expect presentation of new parts and parts in new color, but speed build and other part of review is professionally done

[REVIEW] 42096 - Porsche 911 RSR
1gor replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Here you can see this missing panel even better on white model https://www.porsche.com/international/motorsportandevents/motorsport/customerracing/racingcars/911-rsr/ -
[REVIEW] 42094 - Tracked Loader

Yes, two of them -
Thanks for review. 42093 set should be non branded car, so perhaps proper V6 fake engine could fit. Stunt racer looks like it has to be pf set with additional liftarms that keep model together. XL sprockets are very nice new part

[REVIEW] 42094 - Tracked Loader

Yes, tomorrow is manic Monday (again), but review is very nice including beautiful pictures. This is my favorite 1h set for 2019 year. -
You are right on those comments; engine looks like on curves outer cylinder bank will misfire You have a point - it would be much better in this scale to make Porsche with proper 4 cylinder fake engine than this "pushrod" type fake engine solution
-
I think it is this part https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=22961&idColor=86#T=C&C=86 But agree rack and pinion would be much better

Effe's MOC Corner
1gor replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It looked like Pinnacle at the first sight...and I remember when there were still rumors about Mack Anthem that you mentioned to build classic Mack truck, so I was thinking this is attempt to achieve that. -
Effe's MOC Corner
1gor replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
...and it looks pretty like Pinnacle or Granite ? -
You're welcome Today I have made something you would do; during rebuild of central chassis part for JCB Fastrac 4220 I have enjoyed Nescafe gold Thanks for all reviews, but I have to be disappointed because only Porsche has this one connector in black and stunt racer has yellow new tread sprockets and I need red or black ? ...so I'll wait for second half, only 42094 is interesting...ok 42093 hotrod is tempting...
-
Review is very good. I'm very interested in big tread sprocket, but could you please change 42092 into 42095 in title

[REVIEW] 42094 - Tracked Loader
1gor replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Unusual vehicle with decent amount of functions for that size. It has interesting parts, so I plan to buy it when it will be available in my local store. Perhaps TLC should put this part in black on cab.
