How much slack you have with steering? Is it better to use reingorced new CV joints than classic universal joints (less slack)? Thanks for instructions; it is always nice to se something that could give some idea...

I have only Lego buggy motor and first I thought that IR receicer(s) are malfunctioning, but with single/coupled M, Large, XL motors they work without problems...and then I decided to test Servos that I thought don't work...but then 3 tested Servos are fine, so now is time to wait for tires...btw Lego buggy motor works only directly connected to battery box, perhaps polarity swich would help, but some time in future... BTW Daf looks well proportioned, perhaps tappered panel would be nice behind cab?

Some people mentioned that Cada motor is not that strong as Lego, not to mention BuWizz, but as you once told me, for some normal usage 100-130Ncm is more than enough on torque, so I suppose you know what you expect speed wise from yor Daf Dakkar truck.

For offroader probanly very good, but for solid surface... I suppose that you don't use original Lego buggy motors because they have always second-two delay when using pure Lego powerfunctions elements

Slow outlut at front and slow output at rear...with hub reduction...

I see hub reductios, so I suppose slow output, then red differential then hub reductions or one motor powers each rear wheel?

Would it use buggy motors?

G-Wagon is extremelly expensive (moch more than Landy), but now every pesant think he/she has royal blood and must have G-Wagon (or similar expensive toy)...Landy has kind of not-so-exclusive image still and for years G-Wagon was very very reliable, so price of G-Wagen was faster climbing; but I bet Victor's Land Rover will out last them all.

Tires are something that Lego should have made in this dimensions loooong ago... more problem I see in battery box/electronics if you want...if you try to make with good old Powerfunctions, you'll need 4 IR receivers...it is very hard to maintain such perfect proportions and all those features in such compact space...maybee if you make it a bit bigger scale with Xerion tires at ftont and Zetros at rear...and stretch it about 3-4 studs (and make it 2 stufs wider)...

Better than both original sets (G wagon and Defender). It's perfect (for manual model). Everyone recognizes uconic design and details like shovel are great.

That is very nice, if only 94.3x38R tires would be available seperate, since as you mentioned a while ago set is not that cheap... Some 120mm or 130mm with same design would be perfect. Kind regards buddy (Set looks extraordinary, as I said allready)

That is also very attractive; lots of my models fail because one stud needed extrs to cover gray battery box by TLC, but front tires are something needed...

I agree with you completely; I have problem even to fit 2 hard coupled XL motors...and 2 XL motors are my limit...when I add 2 servos (on another) receiver then one does not work... ...I hope Jernej that I did't derail your topic to much...

Lucky for me that my models are slow (just like my building speed ), so I can have some pulling power adding appropriate reduction...

And it is enough? For 3 large motors one powerfunctions battery box is not enough
