Brickshelf is no more!!!!
Starwars4J replied to black bart(artamus)'s topic in General LEGO Discussion
Actually this has already been talked about in two other topics. Sne wanted to keep it going in an old BS problem topic, which can be found below, so I'll close this. Topic -
Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
Starwars4J replied to john cleese's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well apparently sne and I closed both topics at the same time :-D I thought the other one should be used since the problem mentioned in this thread was resolved, and I guess he thought the other one should be closed since we have this one... Either way I'll reopen this one so we have SOMEWHERE to talk about it! -
Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
Starwars4J replied to john cleese's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well this was about a separate incident of images not loading...there's a topic to talk about this new incident here that I saw, so maybe we should keep to that one so we aren't talking about the same thing twice :-D -
Yeah, I just noticed. And it's just brickshelf, maj is still up :'-(

Whoa, whoa whoa. Yes, they're down and maj is still up! What's going on? -
Yes, welcome to the most unique topics on EB X-D

someone got the rhino thing
Starwars4J replied to Grand Moff Viceroy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ugh, of course someone had to ruin it with a zamor sphere launcher :-| Thanks for the link! -
Hm...what's with all the aussies lately? :-D Welcome to EB!

You know, I'm pretty sure that's not it. I think by the theme-name "Impulse", they mean that they're cheap and you can buy them on an "impulse". Hope I've helped. (:-P)

Ah, much better. That's the Sopwith (sp?) Camel, a set that was recently discontinued. It's a biplane.

Hi, I'm afraid that link doesn't work. To get the right link, right-click on a picture and go to "View Image" or "Copy Link Location". Once you have it, in your post type: [img=WEB ADDRESS GOES HERE] And that should work! Also, you see the little picture of the tree at the top of your post? Click that and a box will pop up. Just paste the address in there and that will work too.

But I can't ban anyone :-P

5150 can't ban anyone either, I'm confused now *wacko*

I thought I was the last person you wanted to upset :'-(

Don't mean to necrobump, but with the latest Brickforge e-mail, it seems you've gotten quite a bit of advertisement! Your pictures are featured on the main page, as well as links to your site. X-D

The Blacksmith's workshop - Part I: The house and story
Starwars4J replied to El Bucanero's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is quite a nice MOC here! What I really love about this, what stands out more than anything is the backstory. I love how you built your MOC around a backstory and actually gave it quirks to mirror what would happen in real life! The MOC itself is great, but that gives it more life. As for the actual MOC, I wish we could see an inside (is there a way to access the inside?). Also I think you might've run into a problem common among castle builders...the big gray wall syndrome. Now you may ask "But Justin, there's NO gray in this! Are you going crazy? *wacko* " And you're be right! Er, not about me going crazy, about no gray :-D I think all the brown needs to be broken up with...SOMETHING. Now I don't want to take away from the brown, since you'd want an all-wood wall. Maybe break it up with some one-stud-wide columns that have something on them, like a hook, or maybe even a window that's four studs? Also I'm not sure if it was done back then, but if it was, maybe some sort of decoration on the first floor roof might liven it up a bit? A plant or two, or maybe just a hoe or shovel laying outside. Maybe a pile of wood for the fire, to keep it away from wild animals? I don't know. Yes...once you start down the castle path, forever will it dominate your destiny *yoda* That or space ;-) -
Actually I did, unfortunately that doesn't help with the thickness of the eyebrows, but I'm happy with it! I'm a member over at MCN, but I haven't seen that article before on C-C! It seems to be just about torsos though. As for my the basic plan is to get the decals from kaminoan (currently talking to him about it). Then when I get the decals a quick spray of clear acrylic spray, dip it in water, then apply. A final coat of floor wax should seal it and keep it nice, with possibly an application of dullcoat to take the shine from the wax off. Any other last-minute comments on the face before I get a few printed? Edit: Fixed it up a bit and I think it's pretty much finalized! The eyes are much more accurate now: Thanks to everyone who gave criticism and advice

And you thought ice-trays were a bad idea...
Starwars4J replied to Athos's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Are we sure either way if it works or not? If it does, at least it can be somewhat useful for AFOL (not really though...) If it doesn't it's just a safety hazard! -
It happened to me too, so it's not just your end. I'm sure it was just some minor server problems though

Don't laugh, I originally gave thicker eyebrows but then I looked in a mirror :-$ :-D

Final version with eyebrows you can see!

"Kill Jar Jar" Contest Rules & Discussion
Starwars4J replied to xwingyoda's topic in Watto's Junkyard
After this contest we should hold another: Kill the guy who took this: I don't even have one yet :'-( -
Ah, so I was right, that isn't Veers. I guess a custom head was too much to ask for *sad*
