You know the movie was originally about Luke Starkiller, a space potato farmer, right? :-| Brilliant, George. He changed it to what it is now when he realized that nobody cared about space potato farmers

Well people do grey when they get older...the anime that came from actually isn't known for characters having wild hair colors, and wild is fairly normal, though white hair is fairly popular

Well the 'official' explanation wasn't so great for the company that they'd use it as an excuse to save face. Didn't they just put a bunch of bley, and a bunch of grey into piles on the floor and see which a baby crawled to, or rather see which attracted the attention of children more?

Yes, rown >:-( I'm sorry if the word rown is so far above you but it makes more sense :-| I mean it's reddish brown, and I don't think bred will work :-| And half your stuff? Bley...and rown (it's rown, hinckley, red+brown :-| ) were the worst thing to happen to colors in awhile. Why? Let's take a look: Old grey worked great as both metal for space, and stone for castle. Bley? It's too blue...it can't possibly past for anything other than metal. Shiny metal at that, not just normal metal, so GOODBYE worn, used look!). It's a disaster for anything stone-related, or anything where you want a worn look for space... Rown? what the hell is it supposed to look like? It's too red for wood. It's too brown for rust. It really is the most useless color I've ever seen. I honestly have no idea what to use it for! It's even too red for CLAY, it's just unnatural.

You're trying to make sense out of Lucas pulling things out of his megablocks though...

There's just too much nonsense going on with the prequels to even be discussed in full. Everything mentioned has been mentioned, debated, and even excused via in-universe excuses already, and there are a million more. There are lists, videos, and diatribes about what is wrong with the prequels alone, not to mention the movies contradicting themselves (the OT that is). For Lucas to keep perpetuating this "Grand Vision" is laughable... Go on, give me any fallacy and I'll tell you the flimsy in-universe excuse for it. They're all just so...stupid. But I guess I can understand the Han Solo thing, as a father he suddenly had a different view on the good guy shooting first. It's understandable, but not right :-/

Yeah, from what I remember Lucas originally planned movies 7, 8, and 9 to be about Luke finding his mother and sister, and tracking down the Emperor to kill him. Time and money was short, so at the last minute he compressed it all into episode 6. And no, there's no 7, 8, 9. There are no scripts for 7, 8, 9. And I swear if someone brings up supershadow I will whack them :-|

You do have a valid point, but I look at it slightly differently. While some children may be happy and appreciate it, there will also be quite a few who think it's garbage and throw it away, or don't get that it's special and treat it like any other fig (without thinking 'hey this is neat!') At least that's the way I look at it :-D I don't look at it too negatively though, I mean as they say, 'them's the breaks'
