Jesus Izzy, does anything there NOT mean fornication? "Hello sir, would you like something to drink with your meal?" "I'll just have some water, thanks" "YOU PERVERT! OUUUUUUUUT!"

You're right! It was oo7! And it has to do with the mafia and a joke that I went a long way for with no payoff :'-(

Brickarms - opinions? Thoughts?
Starwars4J replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
If you mark them up you need to start over :-X -
Oh you, full of sarcasm! Using the hole-ridden IE that degrades the internet as a whole due to not meeting standards when compared to Firefox which, besides being much more secure and meeting standards thereby allowing programmers to better make use of their talents, is much more customizable! You make me laugh :-P

Nah, hell involves a mountain of Lego... 2 2x2 plates stuck together. No brick separators, and your fingers already hurt. -
I'm afraid she's right, that's the whole point to work! If you don't work just to survive, you work to get what you want. If working for it isn't worth it for you, then maybe you don't really want it all that much. You need to take these things into consideration, nobody's getting things for free (with the exception of copmike :'-( )

Well if you're not an AFOL, why set your expectations at the level of one? You don't get the parts and funding overnight generally :-D If I were you, I'd concentrate on building one really super detailed and great building and/or feature of your town at a time! It should take awhile, and if you use bricklink, it shouldn't be THAT expensive. Do it in your spare time, make small things! Only when you have the funding and time should you move on to another project. I think you might be setting your sights a bit too high for right now (eyes bigger than your stomach). Just take it nice and slow, this is a hobby remember, you're supposed to enjoy it :-P Don't worry, you'll get there eventually!

Uh oh, are we gonna have a "Kill Captain Tau" contest after the Jar Jar one?

Oooh, nice. You mean Armothe or Redbean? Redbean was the one who really started it I believe, and he merged with Armothe awhile back. Their stuff is absolutely top notch, and I can't wait to see their upcoming chrome products 8- -
Awwww :-D I hope you knew I was just joking X-D

Swearing? I think their stuff is great! It's a little pricey though, so I don't have any, I prefer BrickForge stuff anyway :-D They do have one or two guns that I'd be interested in, however I never have any cash to spare :'-( -
You were gonna make a MOC with me in it? I thought you didn't have the necessary fig for your OTHER project...now I feel worse :'-( :-P

No |-/ And stop that :-(

skeleton design discussion (new and old)...
Starwars4J replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Actually one of the pictures that BS failed to upload is an old skeleton holding an axe up in that manner ;-) Edit: fixed, BM -
Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???

I'm having the same problem, while trying to upload pictures, it will just leave the folder empty. It's really frustrating -
skeleton design discussion (new and old)...
Starwars4J replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The old skeletons were infinitely more realistic and overall better than the new ones. I took some pictures to show why. First of all, the old skeletons can hold weapons normally. Sure it's limp, but I don't see any muscles on those bones, do you? there's also a wide range of motion: Whereas the new skeletons can only hold their weapon at a slight angle. It's not even enough of an angle to slice with! It's just 'slightly off center', which makes no sense at all: Then there are the arms. What the hell? The old skeletons had what looked like bones, but these are clearly droid arms! I mean they're held completely outright whereas every other arm was bent somewhat. The old skeletons are like that too, you might say, however they aren't twice as long as the legs! Not to mention that they look like metal arms, all angular instead of round like the old ones. Also, they aren't as menacing. Whereas the old skeletons could look somewhat intimidating, like the reanimated bones of a dead warrior, they tried to make these look like zombies! That doesn't work, there's no flesh, there's no muscle. There's no reason they should be stiff! They're BONES, they should be loose, rattling. They should look unnatural and leave you wondering how they're moving, to make them stiff and rigid is just ridiculous. Edit: Fixed!
