Well just remember that post-apoc means things aren't coordinated. Like those two red reverse slopes? Make one red and another bley. Make have a roof dark bley. Make a few of the side panels black. Throw some chains and oil cans around the bottom, etc. Basically think of what this was made from, and how it would've been modified in an end-of-world scenario

Not bad, but I'd like to see a little less brown. I'm aware the post apoc thing means to have some brown, but it doesn't mean everything's made out of wood. Things need to look cobbled together, and a wooden ship doesn't give me that impression. Also what's the propulsion like? Could we get a pic of the back? I like all the guns though, but the red could be played up a little more

Great comic! *y* I laughed hard at that picture of a bummed Hinckley after Copmike told him about Ras's armies :-D :-D Was that a decal? I don't recall that head... The ending was sweet too, great job all around *sweet*

It seems Mister Phes might have to have a word with this guy... 8-|

Well for now it's just a prison module :-D Maybe at some point I'll make a series of these modules...after I finish this SHIP. I suppose to make it into a latrine (though why you'd need a module of one of those is beyond me 8-| ) you could fit a toilet in the rear, with a small sink on one side and a trash bin on the other. It could also fairly easily be made into a shower, come to think of it. Just make the entire floor gratings, and place a showerhead over the top. For a cold store, it would be kind've small, but I guess just place a bar across the top to hang meat from, or just store boxes in it...and of course the window wouldn't be necessary

Uh oh...I don't see this going anywhere good. Listen, bringing something up and attacking him back after so long can't have any constructive or positive outcome. Yes he was wrong, but what you did wasn't right either. I'm going to close this to prevent a flame war...

Thank god, I hear the CEO of Sinner Computing can be a real big behind at times :-X

Hey Doug, this is an interesting station here. I think you can really expand it to make it fantastic. First of all, it looks a bit like a box, you might want to try other shapes to add on to make it look more complex, and spacey. Sure something doesn't need to be aerodynamic in space, but you don't see real space stations (Mir/ISS) look like a box :-P Also a few more greebs might be a good idea to spice up the exterior and make it look more technical and spacey, just make sure to try to integrate them into the space station, rather than just throwing them on ;-) I love that you included the airlock, functionality is always a plus. Can't wait to see what you turn this into!

You just got underwear duty too, pal :-| Welcome to EB, jedikermit! I actually have a few friends who are starting teaching now (just graduated college), and I'm currently an instructor for the Princeton Review for SAT classes for some extra cash :-D It's fun...when you can control the kids. I just finished teaching the worst, oversexed bunch of kids I've ever seen...how do you deal with something like that? I wasn't able to keep them in their seats, or able to keep them from spraying water on each other or drawing "organs" on each other's books :-| I think it's because I'm so close in age to them but I need to watch out in case i have another group like that. Hope you enjoy EB *sweet*

Where do Rare/HTF Parts come from?
Starwars4J replied to Turaga of Force's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Pretty much where everything else came from that was mentioned in this topic...they're not from a set. Those were just polybag promos offered for a limited time in Europe with a magazine Isn't that pretty much every part this topic talks about? :-P For examples, not all of these are from LUGs, but most probably are...you can tell which are from LUGs and which are just rare production pieces by how easy it is to find them on bricklink, ones from LUGs were likely made in the thousands, whereas others you'd be lucky to find any if it was just pre-production -
As some of you may have seen on other sites, our mod Hinckley made a great photo review of the new Dwarf Mine! Now that his bandwidth problems have been fixed, you should take a look at what '08 will have in store! If you want to discuss the review, you can do so here

Thanks you guys! Thanks. They're actually just going to be a small detainment section of the Cruiser I'm working on, I figure a small portion of the inside, near the docking bay area will have a few of these (I'm guessing 10) to hold any captured prisoners...not a lot, but enough. After this is done (god knows when that will be), I'll start working on the next project...a large medical SHIP. I sketched the design the other day. Come to think of it, I need to take some pics of my progress on the cruiser...

Wow, that's a really sad story, sorry to hear all that happened to you and thanks for sharing for those of us who wondered. It's a shame when something you enjoy gets ruined for you...
