I was on my way to a Target today to see if I could find the Hogwarts Castle on sale as has been reported (I didn't :'-( ) when I noticed how beautiful the sunset was. When I parked in the Target parking lot, I took a picture of it with the only camera I had on me...my crappy cell phone camera >:-( Ah well, it came out pretty good for a phone camera...

That's a shame about Hitomi...the Golden Temple was the only decent EF set from this year...and the best (IMO) of the entire theme so far.

Ah, so what's the intended meaning behind it then? :-P

Very nice but the black minifig is really hard to see as-is. And I'm not sure what the scene is supposed to be...it looks like a tsunami of bricks, but I think it would look neater to have a fig rising from a "sea" of bricks, which you can still glue to give that crazy effect.

I use Paint.net for my editing...:-$ As for the troll, here it is: I would've taken a pic before but I thought you weren't being serious when you said you liked it :-P A little blurry yes, but good enough for just a fig

Thanks. The sword next to the knight is from Brickforge. The fighter is actually two identical fighters (I plan on making four total) posted at different angles to show different aspects of the fighter in the same shot.

Hey all, so I finally got around to photographing a bunch of updates to MOCs I've made, and something new! First here's a MOC I've wanted to make for a few days. I was chatting with Hinckley when I suggested a possible use for the new goblin swords (which I HATE (sorry Hinckley :'()): claws! This resulted (and was thrown together in like half an hour: Remember my Imperial Fighter? Here's an update (I plan on one last update after those new grill slopes become available Also, if you remember that little alien walker I made, I made a couple of other color variants. Welcome to the Family Reunion!: Also, while not a MOC, I figured I'd show you a fig...to go along with my Odin I decided to make a Goblin Priest for this new theme: Afterall, the new Goblin faction so far just has one class! Hope you enjoy! C&C welcome :-)

While I'm sure many members here take advantage of the sale and are glad that you let us know, it's generally looked down upon to only make sales, rather than trying to be a part of the community. We've had members whose first (and only) post was in the BSTF forum who are basically only members here to make some money, and I think that's what he was referring to. There's absolutely no reason not to post something like this here, but it's always a good idea to try to post in other places too, as it gives a certain impression when you only post when you want to sell something, I'm sure you know what I mean.

I voted Goblin. Troll worrier? I picture trolls as being short, hairy, and husky. Ogre? I picture them as being large... Goblin? No problems there...small, green, and oogly Orc? It's basically LotR for goblin...

Sick and tired of being treated like crap? When were you treated like crap? And if he deleted your comments, which he felt were just you being mean to his MOC, why would you repost it? He obviously didn't want them there...I would like to hear where you've been treated like crap so much though. And to be fair I did go on about you BOTH acting like children, his "we both know Chuck was wrong ;-)" wasn't exactly nice or mature either...

You guys are both acting like children... Hey l2k, remember this? Remember how you've done the "I'm sorry and it'll never happen again" thing every single time? Why don't you ever stick to what you say, is it always just to get out of trouble? Just to "yes" people to death? I mean honestly, he has a point, if you don't like something, say why. Saying "I don't like this" isn't constructive...it's rude. Just like last time... Does this look like you're helping? I mean technically that comment was on flickr, and not here, but it still wasn't helpful... Instead of just saying "this isn't [insert theme here]", why not suggest ways to make it more post-apoc? What's wrong with the indians? Is it that they're robots? Is it their construction? Is it that they're indians at all? Now guys, this isn't a place to argue, so I just suggest that we respect each other and just try to comment on the MOC. Oh, and I think when he said "AFOL" technique, he just meant "advanced technique", which it is for the reason BM stated, hands weren't meant to be used that way :-P

Ah, I see what you mean! I think those are one-in-the-same with the new cheese slopes. You can see yellow ones on other sets, they're 1x2 slopes that are grills

Nice job, I've always loved that barbed wire technique (I originally wanted to make a small base that incorporated that back in '05 but wasn't near my parts :'-( ). The barrel was done nicely, but I agree that the waterfall needs work. You might want to check Norro's Entrance to the Caves MOC for a really beautiful one. And I have to agree about the indians, it looks like Terminator met Exo Force :-D Even with the arms and legs I can't get the "crappy skellie" image out of my head :-P Very vibrant scene though!

About time this theme turned out something that wasn't crappy (besides the supernova) :-D Still a lot of things I don't like, but they're getting better. I think I'll look forward to those red scythes the most (I have a special place in my heart for red pieces). The brick-built turbines with the goblin swords is a nice touch too

This is a fantastic set...I love the rounded architecture, I love those cars, I love everything! I wish the buildings were a bit more elaborate, but i have to echo everyone else Wow!! Really has a great old-school feel to it!
