  1. I personally prefer Space Police II. I do like this set though, it's very hard to find nowadays!
  2. Yeah, there's actually a surprising amount of information on the box art. I think the orange guy is Squidman, but I can't tell. BTW, I sure hope those stasis tanks are removable... if they're not I will be upset...
  3. I'll have to disagree there. Rock Raiders nailed the idea of an underground mining team WAY better than these lime green versions. The theme is neat in terms of parts, functionality, and overall design, but when I look at Power Miners I don't think of the gritty underground mining facilities of Rock Raiders... at all. It would probably be a mistake to compare these themes because they're both good for totally different reasons.
  4. If you look at the science, the existence of life on other planets is really quite likely. But that's not the point here is it? While I agree that there should be some good aliens as well, I think kids these days have plenty of examples of how an alien can be on our side and how a human can be an enemy. Star Wars comes to mind. Same here... something about that picture just looked totally off.
  5. ...? What are we supposed to do then? Pretend that news article doesn't exist?
  6. I agree with what you said about the Blacktron-like SP fig. He doesn't look like a cop at all.
  7. That's some camera you have. o_O
  8. Hey guys. My girlfriend caught this, lol- the gray skull aliens now have white heads underneath the skullfaces rather than trans-orange. Discuss
  9. Man, SW is going down the tubes... I can honestly say none of these appeal to me, besides perhaps the hoth set, which will probably be overpriced.
  10. Yeah, I don't understand the whole hood thing... there appears to be some functionality but wtf is it? o_O
  11. I noticed this too. Although nothing from the set names would suggest a ground vehicle, that doesn't mean there isn't one. I agree with this... don't get me wrong, the GE is good, and I will get it provided the price isn't ridiculous. But I do think the prison pods just look terrible like that. It's clear the front section splits off from the rest of the ship a la GM, but it shouldn't be... it should look like a whole, unified design imo. I think the Hyperspeed Pursuit set is FAR superior... I think I'm in love with the Police pursuit ship. The detailing is excellent.
  12. I'm talking about aesthetics.
  13. It seems completely out of place on an otherwise black and gray vehicle. Also the white laser cannon protruding from it seems nonsensical, but I imagine it was stolen from the Space Police. Though I admit the unique splash of yellow on that set is consistent with the scattered "grunge" feel of the bad guy sets.
  14. Agree %100... I do think, though, that the yellow cargo on the back of the evil freighter is a little clashing.
  15. There you go, they're working for me. Now to resume drooling,
  16. That's always good to hear. Welcome aboard.
  17. Missing one:
  18. Dang, the troll fortress is REALLY detailed...
  19. I actually think the GE looks much bigger.
  20. Still like the rig the best. Too bad all my money is going into Space Police. Sorry, PM.
  21. My guess is Max Security Transport.
  22. What do you guys think this is? Whatever it is, I like it.
  23. Yeah, if it wasn't for the disks, I won't care so much either. I'm definitely down for the Hyperspeed pursuit. And we've only seen four sets!
  24. Man, the Space Police vehicles are just so good... the two smaller ones are REALLY detailed, full, and just so good looking... the construction is amazing. But dare I say it? I'm actually a little disappointed in the Galactic Enforcer. Sure, it's good, but for some reason the entire frontal canopy seems tacked on to an otherwise whole base. Also the four pods look off.
