  1. Man, I'm even more excited about that walker than I am about the other MM sets coming out this year.
  2. That big ship is my favorite of the new wave, actually. I miss having gigantic, non-SW battleships like from the UFO series. The tank is cool too. I like the robot, but not enough to get the... "transforming" alien ship.
  3. $112 for a Gunship??? WTF. The Torrent looks like a $40-$50 set, and the Magna fighter looks like a $30-#40 dollar set... the AT-TE looks like a $60-$70 dollar set, and the gunship looks like a $90 set (which is what they charged for the original). I hope they change this.
  4. Rats, I had hoped the Crystal Hawk would have been some cool alien fighter rather than a lazy impulse set.
  5. Star Wars is gonna be great this year. I want the AT-TE and the two fighters the most.
  6. Don't miss out on the Rogue Shadow- the box art does it no justice. If I were you I'd skip out on the Hailfire Droid, which sucked. Anyway, loving the snowspeeder, I'll get it just to encourage LEGO to do more of these.
  7. Loving the third one down, don't care much for the other two.
  8. I don't care about Bionicle lore. It's juvenile and poorly written. I'm much more interested in the general premise and the sets themselves. The new Toa are awesome, but I'm feeling lukewarm about these jet things... that's taking it a little far. (Although an air theme was an awesome idea)
  9. Rogue Shadow is like the greatest StarWars set that's come out since the line began. Trust me, it's a really sleek looking set once you build it.
  10. Lawl, they're all over Brickshelf anyway. :P
  11. In my opinion the AT-TE and RGS look significantly better than the originals. The original AT-TE was build too low to the ground and looked too squat in general. The original RGS looked good, but it lacked a lot of detail I'm seeing in this new version. I'll probably get both.
  12. I'm a long-term fan of MM, having collected many of the must-haves in the first wave, and I'll fight for MM to the end- regardless I've gotta say the second wave is much better, at least from a functionality standpoint. I wish they were releasing more than 3 sets, but I'll definitely be getting the big dropship and the tank.
  13. I'm agreeing that it's a mixed bag, but some of my money will go towards them- the Agent's vehicles/figs are great, it's just the bad-guy vehicles that turn me off. They look fun, though, so I'll be grabbing a couple. Regarding violence, this is not LEGO's worst. That award goes to Dino Attack. Lasers are not less destructive than bullets.
