  1. My point was things that don't reproduce don't have genders. If these ACTUALLY reproduce then my point is moot. I'm just surprised that LEGO finally accepted that.
  2. It's actually confirmed that people have sex on Bara Magna?
  3. About Bionicle femininity... wtf? If Bionicle characters don't reproduce biologically then there's no point in having genders or any kind of romantic affliction. Technically ALL of the Bionicle characters are completely gender-neutral.
  4. Ebay is cheaper, but Bricklink nearly always has what you're looking for available, and the sellers are generally more reliable. I still use Ebay more though. S@H is definitely your best bet.
  5. Yeah, these guys aren't catching my eye like the Glatorian.
  6. You know guys, it is supposed to be the Troll Mountain Fortress. It makes sense that it's got a lot of gray, and I think gray actually works way better with the "troll" theme than excessive brown.
  7. Castle is just taking a very appropriate turn to a "fantasy" theme. I don't think this is a problem at all and in fact I'm more interested in the sets than I've ever been. I really want an Elven theme, though.
  8. Most sets are retired a good year after initial release. However, they're always available on Ebay or Bricklink.
  9. This is an awesome idea. Great work.
  10. Know what would be awesome? An "Ultimate Collectors Series" of updated classic Space sets. That would rock. Also, when's the earliest we can expect pics, do you think? I know the NYC Toy Fair is on the 15th...
  11. Exactly. Even the Aero Tube Hangar was better than that.
  12. I didn't actually like Space Police 1 very much, the Lock-Up Isolation Base one of the reasons why- it hardly seemed like a base at all. I'd really like another legendary Space HQ like that Blacktron I base... but after that awful Mars Mission one, I gotta say it makes me nervous.
  13. I think the trailer will be very telling.
  14. Honestly I'd really like a new land base for the Space Police, a la Lock-Up Isolation Base.
  15. Well, if SP3 is profitable enough to continue into 2010, I doubt LEGO will change the formula too much.
  16. After seeing the other three movies I won't be plunking down $20 for another disappointment until I see some reviews...
  17. At least the lime green is actually consistent with the color scheme of the rest of the theme in the Command Rig. Here it makes absolutely no sense and it's really ugly.
  18. Yeah I hope that SP3 goes on for several years, like Exo-Force. Mars Mission improved tremendously in 2008, just think of what could happen to SP3!
  19. Impressive work there!
  20. Good choices. The Hyperspeed Pursuit is the must-buy of the year for me, since: - Both of the vehicles are extremely good - It includes my favorite of the aliens thus far - Price probably won't be terrible - I tend to make ALL my Space ships "pursue" each other to some degree I also intend on getting a Galactic Enforcer and doing a comparative review against the GM and DFD.
  21. Woot
  22. My guess is that LEGO will do a limited release in Europe (I.E. S@H, brand stores) and release it more widely in NA for experimental reasons. I can see why this theme would be experimental. The over-the-top alien designs and classic-like Space Police designs are a rather contrasting mix, and I for one can't possibly anticipate how it will sell... but I think it may end up catching the eye of many a young LEGO fan.
  23. If kids are pissing themselves over Blacktron minifigs I've got very little hope for my generation. This set is good... I don't like it as much as the Renegade, which imo is the star of Blacktron I, but I still really like it. :)
  24. Hey, don't kill the messenger, Bluemoose started the rumor, not I. I certainly hope SP3 is a widely released line so the comeback of LEGO Space can be appreciated in full!
  25. I'm not a City collector and I love this set!
