Danth's unwarranted rudeness is very deserving of such a response, and to expect otherwise would be quite far fetched, especially on the internet... Wait... what? Those sure look like space ships to me. Maybe, at the MOMENT, they're cruising over a planet's surface, but if you lack the imagination to send them on their way through Space then I don't see why you're into LEGO. Those cars aren't doing any hovering; I don't doubt for a moment their ability to traverse a vacuum. The other sets you've mentioned are clearly the ground-based elements of the theme, which your beloved "classic" Space wasn't without. You must know something we don't, because to the best of my knowledge we haven't actually seen any of the sets yet, save two impulses and a preview poster. Seriously people. It's a little too early to be judging wouldn't you say? I understand that there is certainly a "city in space" element to this new theme, but this is mostly coming from the Agents-like "situational set" trend... AKA Gold heist, container heist. We still have a Galactic Enforcer, Prison Transport, etc... I think if you just give this theme a chance to develop and show itself you might be pleasantly surprised.

All of the western cities have unsatisfactory wineries. Deal with it and stop bawling. See? I can make sweeping generalizations without substantiation too!

This is trufax. But the military theme was indeed awesome. I'd like to see a new Space theme like that someday.

Granted the new theme is very consistent with it's title, but keep in mind people are comparing it to the original Space Police- which weren't much like this. It had a more "galactic" feel as some have mentioned.

Well, I understand your complaint, but I don't think this new "futuristic police" direction is at all bad... I think it's interesting, and if it's well executed, I'll definitely be hooked. But for those of you hoping for a more "galactic" feel, look elsewhere- I think the direction of this theme is pretty clear now.

"Ten bucks more than it should be" is usually a safe bet.

Or any carbon-based organism for that matter. But hey, it's LEGO Space; it's never been realistic.

Bleh, I don't see how anybody can like the Crystal King... it looks like something my twelve year old brother might have made... The middle-sized vehicle is a neat concept but the execution is ugly imo. I hope this will get refined before release. The big vehicle is definitely bare, but it's still prelim and I think it's probably one of the coolest vehicular concepts the Power Miners have brought us thus far... it just looks so impressive. All in all though, I'm not pumped for any of this... I hope they're improved.

I quite agree; the concept is original and I think it's quite telling of what we can expect from the new Space Police.

I do think the ice guy looks promising... I'm lukewarm about the rest.

The big set looks ok, but I gotta say the rest are disappointing.
