  1. The Space Police vehicles are orgasmic, but as others mentioned I'm not sold on the "bad" vehicles.
  2. Reading your comics makes me wonder what a zero-g sexual situation would be like. ...anyway, these are actually pretty funny.
  3. I love EB Because I'm more of a system fan and this website always has the latest on the new system sets. I also much prefer the atmosphere here. I don't like BZP very much but I'm not about to go into a big argument as to why one is better than the other... which is impossible to prove and thus completely pointless.
  4. I have to admit one of the most exciting aspects of this theme is the potential the alien figs have...
  5. Aren't you all a little too old to fall into the "my website is better because x" merry-go-round? Come now.
  6. Agree 100%... well, let's just hope ALL of the Police vehicles are totally enclosed.
  7. Voted both. LEGO has changed in many ways, for better and worse. Stickers, large pieces, and flick-fire missiles are examples of how LEGO has disappointed; better part selection, awesome minifigs, good rounded elements are examples of how LEGO has improved.
  8. Best: Worst: ANY of the CW figs.
  9. I liked Mars Mission but I admit that their "base" was just pathetic. The Aero Tube Hangar was actually better.
  10. There's a fatal flaw in your premise here. You may find some behavior on the internet obnoxious, which is not at all surprising since the internet is full of annoying people, but responding to this behavior with an attitude many times worse completely discredits everything you say. People will never take you seriously on any level, no matter how legit your arguments are, if you adapt such a confrontational attitude. It's a basic law of human relations. Hypocrisy will get you nowhere. You're not even necessarily wrong, but I'd never want to say I support somebody whom I'd never want to be in the same room with. This is really just annoying. You're not being witty, you're acting like a damn three year old.
  11. I'll admit that UFO did generally only have two or three base concepts as designs- x-wing fighter and saucer. But the models themselves were still really detailed and I enjoyed them immensely. In terms of minifigs I thought Insectoids was rather weak, actually... like they were trying to copy UFO but just not doing it so well... however I did like the droid.
  12. Malum, by far. He's one of the coolest canister sets I've ever purchased.
  13. Wow, so much negativity. Personally I like the Troll Fortress, in terms of construction it looks very good. The Drawbridge looks good as well, but I don't think I'll be getting it. The chariot, however, looks meh.
  14. You can always ask him. If he has %90+ positive approval you can assume he'll ship it at first ability unless otherwise specified. The arrival will depend on what shipping method he uses as well. Parcel post is rather unpredictable but standard shipping shouldn't take too much longer than three days.
  15. You could pretty much summarize any storyline in that format and make it look much less appealing.
  16. *sigh* please, please LEGO, focus on establishing a rich world for us to dig into rather than completely ignoring what made 2001 great and giving us a bunch of cheesy plot twists to chew on. Seriously, Bara Magna has so much potential.
  17. You boys are lucky; I'm working on a UFO theme review. I picked up some UFO sets off of Ebay (my original collection is destroyed) and I remembered how awesome they are. I just love the alien minifigs; some of the best minifigs we've ever gotten out of Space. The Warp Wing Fighter is absolutely the best set out of UFO, but I do understand the nostalgia of the Cyber Saucer, since I too adored that set as a kid- I was also rather obsessed with the UFO phenomenon in general at the time, so it suited me perfectly that LEGO would release a theme that revolved around the idea. I also confess a sympathy towards Insectoids... yeah it was a weird theme but I did really enjoy it.
  18. And even if you don't like it as a Space theme, what we've seen so far seems very well executed, so perhaps you can appreciate it as a theme all it's own.
  19. Where are the Dino Attack prelims?
  20. *polishes off UFO collection* aaah, my beauties. Moose, I do understand your complaint- and this does feel more like a "future" theme, I don't really disagree with that at all... I just don't mind it. This is an idea LEGO's never tried before... "space cars" are a totally unique direction for Space, and I love seeing something new. While I would still appreciate a more faithful Space theme, I don't think this new concept is at all a negative turn for the Space Police, and frankly I'm content to continue collecting 1990's sets off of Ebay to quench the desire for old Space... Keep something in mind though. The Space Police ship we saw in that ad is anything but a car- the only thing that makes it remind of City is the color scheme. We have a "Galactic Enforcer" on the way, which sounds very reminiscent of the Galactic Mediator, and I think it will satisfy many Space fans. I still love the idea of a Space hotrod, and I will be buying one, but for those of you who want something more faithful, I think you'll still find some love in this theme.
  21. No, but those pics appear somewhat clearer than the other ones...
  22. Whoa. What is that? o_o I don't know what that is, but I like it.
  23. I don't like your attitude. Nobody in this thread but you has behaved so rudely. There's no reason for this kind of mudslinging, so please calm down. This is, after, not a matter of great importance. So... Space Police III isn't spacey because one (read: ONE) of the sets doesn't have a colored windshield? And you're calling him illogical? Wow... that's got to be the worst argument against a theme I've ever seen. I suppose you must have hated agents as well? Because the black/orange enemies clashed with the blue/gray Agents? There's nothing wrong with having distinctive opposing factions in the same theme. When I look at those pictures, I don't need someone to tell me which is the good guy and which is the bad guy- I already know. Was that true with Blacktron and Space Police? Not so much, especially in the second wave. I don't think this works against the theme at all. It's just different. Um... what? So forget the storm troopers and build something else out of the parts from the rest of the set. I hate LEGO Star Wars, but even I know how to make my own stuff from the sets. o_O It sounds to me that you're just hating this theme for the sake of hating it... and you're trolling. I don't know what our policy is against trolls here but nobody appreciates it.
  24. Pfft, you Bionicle fans have already SEEN your summer sets.
  25. Don't be so sure; if the top seller list in LS@H is any indicator, Power Miners is selling very well.
